Daily Inspiration: December 19. Turning Condemnation Into Compassion

Today, let us elevate our life and the world by making the past target of our condemnation — the present recipient of our compassion. In this time of Christmas and other religious holidays, let us be charitable enough to offer ourself the opportunities to find peace in areas of our life that have been calling out for healing. As God’s child and creation, aren’t we worthy of peace? Being all One, aren’t we all worthy of peace? When we withhold peace from another, we fail to experience it ourself. God is Love, who in truth we are. Forgiveness and compassion are two expressions of Love. When we choose compassion over condemnation, we are choosing God’s guidance over the ego’s judgment-centric programs.

We all are forever worthy of God’s love. Today, our compassionate thoughts, words and actions will align us with God’s love. Today, let us be grateful to those who through their presence in our lives are offering us the opportunities to recall we are worthy of God’s Love. Today, consciously align with God offer compassion and experience His peace. Today we shift from a mindset that is based on condemnation, anger and revenge to one that is based on compassion, forgiveness and peace. Sure the ego may have programmed us to believe such an offering to a specific someone is quite unappealing or even impossible to do. But at least ask yourself are your thoughts of condemnation, anger, and revenge, nourishing or poisoning you? What kind of example are we setting for our children when they see us poisoning ourselves? What good is it for them to see us reacting with condemnation to condemnation, with anger to anger, and with revenge to revenge? Today, let us rise above the ego’s battlefields by offering all others the behaviors we would want our children to inherit.

How many more of our life must we sacrifice to anger, condemnation and revenge? When will we finally see and understand that those types of reactions are offering us nothing we want? If they are offering us nothing we want would their opposite not maybe offer us something we do want? If anger and condemnation offer us nothing we want would forgiveness and compassion not offer us something  we do want? Being Love’s creations would we not want to be create through love as our Creator created? Today, if you find yourself not aligned with Love do not put yourself or others down for this. Simply realize you are in alignment with the mind of God, where you truly desire to be. If you find yourself in aligned with the ego’s mindset now use this as a trigger. Let this trigger in you the desire to move form the unconscious state to the conscious state. Ask yourself: Does anger and condemnation bring me in alignment with Love or does forgiveness and compassion do this for me? If forgiveness and compassion align me with Love would it not be more rational and productive to offer them instead of anger and condemnation? Today, no matter how hard the ego demands we become angry and condemn another let us recall the ego offers us nothing we want. Then let us respectfully decline such a delusion request. Finally let us choose loving thoughts, words and actions that will align us with our true nature. The more we offer forgiveness and compassion the more natural and normal this way of thinking becomes. By offering forgiveness and compassion, both expressions of Love, we will be allowing God to flow through us and throughout our day.

Today, let us recall that being all One what we offer others, we experience ourselves. Let us ask ourselves do we want condemnation flowing through us and throughout our day? Or would compassion seem like a kinder and more nourishing companion? Today, with our heads held high, let us decline the ego’s demands to keep fueling its judgment-based mindset. Each time we practice overruling the ego we achieve a greater level of control over our thoughts, minds and lives. Today, allow your compassionate response when the ego demands condemnation to show you that you are in control of your thoughts, mind and life. Let this show you that you are awakening to the understanding that as Love’s creation you are worthy of the state of peace. Today, if we are having a difficult time forgiving let us not despair. Instead let us courageously dive into the deepest parts of our hearts and minds in order to find those remaining pearls of mercy? If we can’t find these pearls within us then let us invite God to find them for us. Let us humbly ask God to forgive our brothers and sisters for us. Let us do so until we can see, feel and appreciate the wisdom of His ways. Today, let us humbly ask and allow Love to lead us. Let us let Him guide us back to the state of peace. When we don’t feel strong enough or ready to forgive let us not despair. Instead, we say to our Creator: “Today, I am consciously surrendering to You that delusional part of me that sees any gain in condemnation, anger and revenge. Today, I am deciding to place my complete trust in Your mercy, wisdom and grace. I now ask You from the deepest parts of my heart, mind and soul to forgive my brothers and sisters for me. Please filled my all my thoughts of them with Your compassion, mercy, peace, love, grace and understanding. Thank you Father. Amen.”

Today, if the ego demands that you condemn yourself or another, let that trigger you to remember that today’s goal is to offer compassion to everyone you think of or meet. The more you decide to offer compassion over condemnation, the more natural and normal this choice and behavior becomes. The more compassionate you become, the more peace you will experience. Now you can see that those in your life are simply offering you the opportunities to choose compassion and thus to be at peace. Would gratitude not be the appropriate response to these individuals? By their presence in your life, are they not helping you awaken to who you are in truth? Today, your compassionate choices signal to you that you are inviting God’s love to bless and flow through you and throughout your day.

All glory to God.

Hi James, I love your posts I think though that it’s better to just say HolyDay seasons than identify with one specific religion. If possible that would be my preference . Your Holy words are great for all of humanity. Peace, nt

Thank you Nechama for your kind words and for being a member of our community.

Please feel free to change any word in the message that would make the message more digestible and useful for you. I also invite anyone who is uncomfortable with any word I use in the message to switch that word to a word that is more digestible and useful to them.
