Daily Inspiration: August 18. The Gatekeeper of Your Mind

You are the gatekeeper of your mind, the one who defines the world you see and interact with. You have the final say about what enters, and what is stopped, at your mind’s gate. Just as there exists an outer world, there also exists an inner world. In this inner world, your thoughts are its inhabitants. The level of peace or stress in your inner world is directly correlated to the inhabitants that you allow to enter your kingdom. The more you invite, allow in, focus on and support positive, peaceful, loving and kind inhabitants in your mind, the more positive, peaceful, kind and love-filled your days will be. The more negative, destructive, fearful and unkind the inhabitants you allow through your gate, the more stress-filled, difficult, hopeless and tiring your days will be. Notice that the defining factor in your day is not what is happening “out there,” but who you are allowing to enter your mind’s gate and into your kingdom. The thoughts that invigorate or pollute your mind will be the same ones that invigorate or pollute your day. Yet, if you are going through a difficult day, there is no need to worry or despair. If your thoughts are not supporting the kind of day you want, then it is you who has the power to kick them out. The power to change the world you see, and the way you interact with such a world, resides within you. Rejoice that this power does not reside somewhere out there, that it is not outside your reach or control. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you can take conscious control of your mind’s gate. The sooner you take control of your gate, the less pain and anguish you will need to experience in this world. The less pain and suffering that you, through your choices make, the sooner you’ll be able to return the world you see and experience, back to its balanced natural  state, that of peace, love, joy and understanding.

Having been gifted free will, let us no longer give our power away by blaming the outer world for how we feel. Instead, let us today focus more on what thoughts we are allowing into our kingdom. Are the thoughts that we are allowing in, brightening or darkening our days? Are the inhabitants that we have allowed into our kingdom working with our, or the ego’s, best interest in mind? The ego’s main fuel source is judgment. When your thoughts are judgmental in nature know that your inhabitants are working for the ego. The judgmental state will rob you of peace. If in any situation you are not at peace, then know that you are allowing inhabitants into your kingdom who do not have your best interest in mind. Today, when a thought wants to enter your gate ask yourself: “Does this thought have my best interest in mind? Does this thought want to work with me towards achieving a higher level of consciousness, that of a more peaceful, loving and joyful state of mind? Or, is this thought secretly conspiring against my true desires?” Today, let us not judge ourselves if we find that we have allow a number of destructive inhabitants into our kingdom. Instead, let us practice becoming consciously aware of what we have done, and then gently but swiftly, look to correct the situation and cleanse our minds. Such a situation is not calling out for judgment and punishment,  but for correction and healing. Every single moment in your existence, thanks to God’s gifts of mercy, grace and free will, offers you the opportunity to choose once again and begin anew. You can in any moment simply stop that line of thinking that is not serving you, and simply choose again, and begin anew.

Today, let us offer God our gratitude, that no matter what we are experiencing, in any moment we can choose differently and begin anew. Imagine that, being able to begin to create a whole new life in any single moment. My dear one, the cross has already been overcome, there is no more need for you to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Every moment offers you the opportunity to resurrect your life and begin anew. Every moment gives you the opportunity to take back control of your own thoughts, and thus of the world that through them you are experiencing. Today, let us recall that the life we are in every moment creating, is simply a physical manifestation and representation, of the thoughts we are allowing in, caring for, and supporting. It is always we who in the end make the final choice of whom to allow or not allow into our kingdom. Today, knowing this, if something is not bringing you peace or joy, do not look outward to try to solve your problem. Instead look inward. Look to heal your mind, and the outer world will then begin to reflect the healed internal condition of your kingdom. Keep reminding yourself today: “I am the gatekeeper of my mind. If I know a certain thought is not willing to work with me to achieve a peaceful, loving and joyful state, then I will not allow its entrance into my kingdom. Today, I only support and allow into my kingdom, those thoughts that I know are willing to work with me. Today, it will be I, as the gatekeeper of my mind, who is responsible for the world that I define, create, see, experience and share.”

Today, let us start to take greater personal responsibility for the world that we are seeing, defining and experiencing. The world we see “out there” must begin with the thoughts we think. It is through our thoughts that we define this world. If this world is define by us, then it is we who have control over our experience, over our levels of peace or pain. Today, let us recall that as Love’s children, we all have a right to live in a loving world. We help designed a more loving world by allowing only loving thoughts to enter our mind’s gate. Then these loving thoughts, such as those of peace, joy forgiveness and compassion, become the building blocks that we use to help design a world that is in alignment with the world we want.

Thank you Reahla for being open to the message.

In every moment and interaction that you can, stop and remind yourself that it is you who has control over your thoughts, and thus over your experience. Then be grateful that it is you who has final say over the thoughts you think, and thus over the world you see.
