Daily Inspiration: July 21. Why Do We Support Negative Beliefs about Ourselves?

When you experience anger, resentment, judgment, anxiousness, bitterness, jealousy, hatred, do not despair, for none of these are the truth in you. These energies and emotions are tools of the ego’s mindset, programmed into us as being natural, normal and rational reactions and responses to God’s children. Yet, these are simply false concepts we have accepted as real, and are thus obscuring the truth in us. The more we buy into these false concepts as true, the more they hide who in truth we are. We, being Love’s creations, can not use these energies and emotions, and still feel good. The ego understands that there is a direct correlation between how badly we feel, and how willing we are to judge. The worse we feel about ourselves, the quicker we are to anger, and the more willing we are to judge and attack. Being all One, attacking others only weakens us. The weaker we become, the stronger the ego-self gets. The stronger the ego gets, the more its lies, deceptions and false concepts, seem real and true. The more real they seem, the bigger part of our life experience the ego’s mindset becomes. The more we support the ego’s mindset as real, the more a real part of us it will seem to be, and thus the more we will come to its defense. Being Love’s creations, anything that says we are anything other than love is a lie. Nothing but your loving truth is true. Being all One, nothing but anyone’s loving truth is true. Our truth is Love, and so when we are not being loving, let that be a signal to us that we are buying into the ego’s lies as true. Today, let us not punish ourselves for buying into lies as true. Instead, let us simply learn to recognize when these lies are occurring, stop supporting such a delusion mindset, and choose to align with the love that we in truth are. Then let us listen to the moment to figure out what expression of love it is asking us to be, and let us be that.

The more we align with and use the ego’s mindset and tools, the more we think of our ego as being a real part of us. The more we defend it as real, the more power we give to it, the greater part of us and our life it becomes. As we continue to do this, slowly we forget who we truly are, and begin to see the world through the ego’s eyes. When we give the ruling of our minds over to the ego, anger, resentment, judgment, bitterness, jealousy and hatred, are given power over us. They now direct, control and lead, our thoughts, words and actions. They now become our first responders. Although we feel uncomfortable when aligned with this mindset, and see and experience the pain and suffering they bring us, we are just told that this is just the way life is. Today, let us rebel against a foreign mindset that has never brought us anything other than confusion, conflict, fear and pain. Let us rebel against an army of fraudulent thoughts that have never supported the truth in us. Let us rebel against any dark force and thought that the ego has insisted is more real and worthy than our light, love, peace of mind, joy and understanding. Any thoughts, words, emotions and behaviors, that condemns another or separates us from them, is a tool of the ego, and thus not a part of our eternal loving essence. Our true essence loves and unites, it does not judge and separate. Today, let us stop at our mind’s gate any thought that does not love and unite. We stop them by no longer investing our time, focus and energy, on them. Now, let us shift our investment into thoughts that support the kind of loving, peaceful and joyful life we want, and as Love’s creations, we all deserve. 

Today, when the ego once again tries to have us focus on some negative false concept as true, let us say to  ourselves: “No, no more. I’m done supporting the false in me as true. I am done torturing myself with my own thoughts. I am, have always been, and will always be, the love that God created me to be. I, and my brothers and sisters are One. We are all equally Love’s creations. I now choose to only offer loving thoughts, words, emotions and actions, to myself and others. Now, I know that only the Love in me is true. Now, I know that Love is who I came here to be, represent and share.” Let us today, wholeheartedly and with pure conviction, refuse and refute the ego. Then, let us use the ego’s efforts as a trigger that will help us awaken and recall who in truth we are. Today, knowing that we are all One, the ego’s attack on One of us, is an attack on All of us. If the ego tries to have you attack another, now you know that it is the ego who is trying to control your thinking and thus your life. The ego survives and thrives through our judgments. It does not care who our judgments are directed towards, it just wants us judging. It want us through judgment, to separate ourselves from others so that it can have us to itself. The ego does not want us to be forgiving, kind, compassionate and understanding, because that behavior would begin to remind us of our loving nature. When we unite with Love, with All, we have no need for the ego. This is what the ego fears, its destruction through our awakening. Today, let us rise above the ego’s mindset and battlefields. Let us finally throw down judgment’s sword, and look upon our brothers and sisters with only forgiveness, love and compassion. Then let us allow the states peace and joy to descend upon us, embrace us, take our hands, and lead us out of the darkness of the ego’s battlefields, and back into alignment with the light within.

Today, when the ego tries to have you think negatively of self or other, remind yourself: “I am Love’s creation. My function in this world is to be the love that God created me to be. God is Love and All, thus only the Love in me is true. Today, I declare my independence from the ego’s rule. Now, I know that anything that the ego would have me think, say or do, is a lie. I no longer support lies as true. I am now done punishing myself and others with my own thoughts. I am no longer a slave to the ego’s mindset. Ego, I no longer serve you. I now only serve Love, only God. Today, I humbly yet wholeheartedly ask God to shine through me. God, please allow my light to shine bright. May I shine bright enough so that those of your children who are lost and still buying into the ego’s lies as true, may find their way back Home to You. Amen.”
