Daily Inspiration: June 1. Being Grateful for Both the Darkness and the Light

Today, let us not curse or condemn ourselves for the darkness, as the ego has programmed us do. The acts of cursing and condemnation are not in alignment with eternal loving essence and nature. Instead, let us recall that because God is Love and All,  even the darkness can and will be used by God to aid in our growth, healing and awakening process. If the darkness can be used, then it is useful. If it is useful, then gratitude, not judgment, is the appropriate response to it. Just as the light naturally clears your path to your Source, so too can the darkness, when used for good, unite us with God. The darkness can in its own unique way, when used properly, help us better represent our All-Loving Source here on Earth. When this is understood, gratitude becomes our response to both the darkness and the light. When you are not experiencing gratitude for the moment, then you are not recognizing what the moment is truly trying to offer you. When we are seeing the moment through fear, this is a symbol that we are buying into the ego’s fairy tale as more real than God’s plan. Peace of mind and joy can not be found when seeing the false as more real than the truth, the darkness as more real to us than the light. The darkness and its symbols, no matter how real they may appear to be, can never completely block you from the light in you. The light in you being Source Itself, is and will always reside within you, simply awaiting you to focus on It instead of the false concepts that you have been taught by the ego as true. We can in truth never be separated from an all-loving God, because God is Love and All. No longer support the negative connotations of darkness as real, for to do so is to make it a bigger part of our experience and life. Instead, learn to see the darkness as a call from the Universe, that is asking you to return to your true nature, to being and representing only the light in you as true.

The less time you spend cursing and condemning yourself and others for experiencing the negative connotations of the darkness as real, the more time you will spend in The Light, the state of peace, your true home. That is your function here on Earth, to be the light of the world. All of Love’s expressions such as those of peace, joy, compassion, forgiveness and hope, are all symbols of the presence of The Light in you. The darkness also has numerous symbols, such as those of judgment, anger, resentment, fear and hate. These symbols are what the ego uses to try to block us from our awareness of the light within. Because the darkness is in essence in opposition to The Light in us, little by little we will, no matter how much we have bought into it as true, become repelled by it. It will be this repulsion that will have us looking for a better, more loving way. Many times it is by experiencing this darkness long enough and enough times, that actually helps us propel ourselves out and away from it, and back into alignment with the light. The darkness, just like the ego itself, are both self-destructive in nature. The more we experience them as real, the more we will see, feel and understand, how truly unlike to us they are, and how little they have to offer us. When you start to see, understand and use the darkness as simply a tool that helps you recall who you are not, the less negative feelings you will hold towards it and yourself for buying into the false in you as true. The less negativity you hold towards the darkness, the less negatively you will feel towards those who are acting in alignment with it. The less negativity you hold within, the brighter your own light will shine.

Today, understanding that God is Love and All, and thus uses all for good, let us offer our gratitude for both the seeming darkness and the light. When properly perceived, they are both gifts that are in their own ways helping us recall who in truth we are. Let us no longer buy the false concepts that if we are experiencing the darkness, that we somehow not spiritual, good, wise or worthy enough of God’s mercy, kindness, love and grace. Now, we know that being Love’s creations, our so-called feelings of unworthiness, are all simply lies that we have been programmed by the ego to believe as true. Now, when such thoughts try to enter our minds, let us stop them on their tracks and recall that God being Love and All, that He can and will use all our thoughts for good, to help us heal, grow and awaken. When we recall that God uses both the darkness and the light for good, both become gifts that we come to appreciate. Both the darkness and the light help us, in their own unique ways, reach a deeper sense of self-awareness and a higher level of consciousness. Looking back at our past we can now see how even the darkness helped us grow and mature. If all experiences have help us, in one form or another grow, heal, awaken, develop a greater sense of self-awareness, and a higher level of consciousness, and thus a union and Oneness with our All-Loving Source, should gratitude not be our response to every moment? If we understood and believed this truth as true, what other response but gratitude, would be appropriate to every moment, and to all those involved in those moments? What else but peace, could living in a constant state of gratitude, thanks to our true understanding of both the ‘darkness’ and the ‘light,’ bring to us?

Today, let us no longer judge our seeming darkness or the darkness of others. For this mindset would only have us diving deeper into the dark. Instead, let us learn to catch the darken thoughts when they are trying to enter and rule over our minds. Then let us use this self awareness to stop them, and also trigger in us, the desire to focus on and represent only the light in us as true. In essence, we use the darkness as a tool to help awaken us to the ever present availability of the light. This way we learn to use even the darkness for good. God is Love and All, and thus uses all for good. If God can do this, and we are His creations, then why can’t we? Imagine, a life where you no longer judge yourself or His other children for simply being lost in the dark. Imagine, seeing the darkness as just another tool God uses to help redirect you towards the light. Now, even the darkness, becomes just another sacred step on your path to representing Love on Earth. Now, even the darkness becomes a gift from God to you.

Thank you Scott for being open to the message.

When we consciously discard and place aside the programs that have limited and constricted our perception and understanding of the world we see, every moment, regardless of the seeming quality of its light, becomes a gift from God to us. When we become aware of the gift that each and every moment is, it is then that we who become a gift, in each and every moment, to this world.

All glory to God.

Today’s commentary was EXACTLY what I needed!! It is the reason that I read your messages every day. After a particularly dark night, while reading today’s commentary, I was reminded of the Biblical verse that says, “Praise God in All Things.” I love you and I love your words. Thank you for being an instrument of Light, Love, Peace, Joy, and Awareness in our universe. Thank you for reminding me to avoid all resistance and Praise God in All Things.

Thank you Carolyn for your kind words and for being a member of our community.

God is Love and All, and thus His presence and love are available to us in all people, places and things.

Each part of the Whole is a part of you, thus when you are learning to love all things you are learning to love all parts of you.

You, as God’s daughter are forever worthy of experiencing Love in each and every moment, and with each and every being that is presented to you. Remember in each moment and interaction that you are worthy of God’s all-encompassing love, and you do so by consciously choosing to seeing all people and things through God’s, Love’s eyes.

Today, practice seeing only the loving truth in all as true. Do so, and you will be teaching yourself, how to truly love your Whole-Self.

All glory to God.

Peace. JBC
