Daily Inspiration: June 25. Recognizing Your Whole Self

The world you see is a reflection of the thoughts you think. As you begin to heal your mind, you will begin to see a healed world, where your brothers and sisters begin to feel like extensions of you. We are all One. When the healed mind, a mind at peace with itself, thinks of or sees another, those they think of or see are embraced by the gifts of peace and non-judgment. A mind at peace with itself understands that we are all a part of the Whole and that each part plays a sacred role within the Whole. The Whole is incomplete without us. A mind at peace with itself recognizes that each part of the Whole is always moving in the direction of healing, peace and union. An unhealed mind sees others as separate from itself. The unhealed mind sees others as strangers, because it does not recognize Itself. If you do not recognize yourself as part of the Whole Self, you will remain lost and feel like a stranger to yourself. When you begin to recognize yourself as part of the Whole Self, you will begin to see ‘others’ as you. Because of this, the false concept of strangers will become a foreign concept. The fewer strangers you see, the less you will feel like you need to defend yourself “against them”. The fewer strangers you see, the more peace of mind an joy you will experience. When you begin to see strangers as brothers and sisters, and foes as friends, others as you, you will experience less stress and more peace. This occurs not because the world itself nor the people in it have changed. This occurs because you have change your mind about who they in truth are, all sacred parts of you. We are all family, all God’s children, all One Self. The sooner we recognize this and begin to treat each other as such, the sooner this world will return to a place of where balance, peace and understanding reign supreme.

Today, let us start to take greater personal responsibility for the world we see. The ego needs to have us feel separate from each other, thus why it has us focus on the seeming separate nature of the body instead of the sameness in our souls. This way the ego can have us judge and criticize another, and still have us believe that such a behavior does not have a negative effect on us. The ego equates judgment with power and control. It tries to convince us that the more you can judge another, the more power and control you will have over them. We, having been programmed by the ego, for a time buy what it is selling. Yet, the longer we do so, the less satisfied, peaceful and joyful, we become. We do everything ‘right’ according to the ego, yet still our satisfaction, peace of mind and joy continues to drop. This occurs because you do not yet realize or believe that you and your brother are One, and thus that what you think or do to them you experience yourself. Judge another, and no matter how right the ego says that you are to do so, it will be you who will have to carry the burden and weight of judgement. Become angry with another, and no matter how right the ego tells you that you are to feel this way, it will be your own blood that boils. Today, let us no longer punish another and thus poison ourselves. Today, if you once again find yourself in the aloneness of the ego mindset, do not despair, for the longer you experience this state of mind, the more foreign it will become to you. It is when you understand how little the ego’s false concept of separation offers you, that you will begin to look for a better more loving way. A way that unites you once again with the Love that you, and all your brothers and sisters, in truth are.

Today, let us begin to heal our own minds. We do so by letting go of the false concept of strangers, and recognize ourselves as One, as our Whole Self. We have played the ego’s silly game of separateness long enough to see that it has nothing of true value to offer us. We are now starting to realize that it is by healing our own minds, that the true healing of this planet, and those who we see and interact with, begins. Today, let us say to ourselves: “I now make the conscious decision to recognize and become my Whole Self. I now, in all my thoughts, words and actions, become a symbol of Oneness. I see every man as my brother, and every woman as my sister. I now recognize every child as my son or daughter. I now acknowledge every elderly person as my mother or father. There is One Family, One God, One Source, One Love, One Whole Self. This is where I and all my brothers and sisters come from, this same all-loving Source. Who they are, I am. Who I am, they are. Today, I choose to recognize only the Whole Self in all those I think of, see and encounter. Being all One, what I think of them, I experience myself. What I wish for them, I wish for myself. It is when my mind is healed, that I see them as healed. It is when my mind is unhealed and hurting, that I see them as less than God’s creations. Today, everyone I meet I thank, for they are showing me where I reside within my own heart and mind. The more I see all others as me, the more at One I will feel with my all loving Source. Today, all I want is to recall who is truth I am. Today, I travel from a place of forgetfulness to one of remembering my true eternal essence and nature. Today, I go from a delusion mindset of separation to one of being united with and representing the Whole Self. It is by doing so that I finally consciously aligned myself with the Mind of God.”

Today, let us practice seeing the sameness in our souls as more real and valuable than the seeming separateness of our bodies. Let us practice realizing that there is not one thought we can think of another that does not either help us heal or poison us. Let us practice recognizing that being all One, we all are sacred, unique but equally loved parts of the Whole Self. Today, let us look upon every thought that we have of another, as an opportunity to heal ourselves and thus awaken to our true nature. The more we awaken, the more we will recognize the sameness in each other, each one of us as part of The Whole. As we awaken and heal, a mind at peace with itself will look upon others with peace, and thus also begin to see a more peaceful and united world. It will be in this more peaceful world, where others will be free from our judgments, and where we will be free from having to carry the weight and burden of such judgments. The healed mind, recognizing itself as The Whole Self, no longer judges ‘others’ because it no longer has a need to condemn itself.
