An excerpt from You Have Chosen to Remember: A Journey of Self-Awareness, Peace of Mind and Joy by James Blanchard Cisneros.

Trusting God is a great, inspiring, short video motivating people to have faith, stop worrying and trust God.

We have been taught to believe in such things as good luck and bad luck, in accidents and coincidences. Well, I am here to remind you, as well as myself, that there are no such things. All these things are inventions of society, made in the hopes of explaining events that just didn’t fit into a “normal everyday experience.” Centuries ago, what most people today call bad luck or an accident was explained by saying that the gods were disappointed or angry with you. But there was usually a way out. You simply made a sacrifice to the gods, an offering to the high priests, or to someone else in power, to guarantee that no such thing happened again. These rituals worked until bad luck or an accident came knocking on your door again.

Most of us have stopped making sacrifices or offerings in order to avoid apparent hiccups in our daily experiences. As always, I remind you that I personally have nothing against such rituals. People, in my opinion, should do and believe in whatever they wish, whatever brings them peace. I am simply offering another way of looking at such events. Most of us no longer believe that the gods are responsible for accidents and bad luck, but we still believe that control of these hiccups is out of our hands and that we have absolutely no connection to their manifestation. We still believe that we have little or no control over what happens to us. I remind you that this isn’t so. You not only have control over what happens to you, but you also have control over your attitude and reaction to these circumstances or events.

The following short story speaks to the issue of accidents, good luck and bad luck. I first read this story in Dan Millman’s book, “Way of the Peaceful Warrior.”

17 An old man and his son worked a small farm, with only one horse to pull the plow. One day, the horse ran away.

“How terrible,” sympathized the neighbors. “What bad luck.”

“Who knows whether it is bad luck or good luck,” the farmer replied.

A week later, the horse returned from the mountains, leading five wild mares into the barn.

“What wonderful luck!” said the neighbors.

“Good luck? Bad luck? Who knows?” answered the old man.

The next day, the son, trying to tame one of the horses, fell and broke his leg.

“How terrible. What bad luck!”

“Bad luck? Good Luck?”

The army came to all the farms to take the young men for war, but the farmer’s son was of no use to them, so he was spared.

“Good? Bad?”

There are literally no such things as accidents. For example, let’s take the extreme case of a life-changing or life-ending car crash. Obviously, a car crash of this magnitude is a major event. If someone you know has died in such an incident, let me sincerely say, before I go any further, that I am sorry for your loss. I understand that in this world, such an event would be perceived with sadness, anger and pain. The ego would have you experience anger, sadness and pain and call it a normal and correct response. Later, the ego would have you blame and judge. Finally, it would have you carry this anger, sadness, pain, blame and judgment for as long as possible. This is the ego’s solution for you. This, in short, is what you have been told and taught to be a proper response to such an incident. The ego also tells you that if you follow its laws, you will find happiness and peace. Can you allow your mind to be open to the possibility that the ego’s answer is insane? My friend, the ego’s insane solution only sounds sane to an insane world.

God is love and only love. God is all knowing. You are God’s creation. The only barriers between you and God are those you believe exist. Even if you do believe in these so-called barriers, deep within, you believe that you and God are somehow connected. If you can open yourself to believing that you are connected, then what God knows, you also know. If God is all knowing, then He knows what is going to happen to you. If He knows what is going to happen to you, then somewhere within, you know what is going to happen to you. Yet, even if you know what will happen to you, you still need to make choices. One of God’s greatest gifts to you is that of free will. You have been given the opportunity to experience what you wish and believe you need to experience in order to grow. Earth is a school. You get to choose the classes you believe will best help you grow. God knows you, he knows your curriculum and he knows that you will make it back to Him. How and when you choose to experience your curriculum is up to you, it is your free will.

Back to the case of the fatal car accident. Before I begin to offer the Godself’s way of viewing an individual’s passing, I will first say this: you need to feel and experience whatever it is you think you need to feel and experience. Do not judge yourself for the way you feel or grieve. Do not ever judge anyone else for the way or amount of time they choose to grieve. If they believe they need a few months or years, let them have the time they need. Do not try to force your beliefs on someone who is not ready for them, for all you will find will be a brick wall. The best thing you can do is to be there for them, pray for them, and most importantly, continue to work on bettering and advancing yourself. You can serve someone better by learning to love yourself and others more. The more you learn to love yourself and others, the less you will be bothered by how others choose to experience life and grow. The more you learn to love yourself and others, the more at peace you become, and the more peace other individuals will experience in your presence.

Individuals who pass away suddenly – be it through a car crash, murder, heart attack, etc. – simply choose to pass on this way. Quite simply, there were no further lessons for them to experience during this life. Their physical lives end when they choose to go home. They have successfully accomplished their life purpose. Please understand this one thing: they will not pass away alone. There will be souls that will assist them during the time of transition. They will be supported and great love and friends will welcome them home. Often, in the case of a sudden exit, a guide will immediately be available to the individuals to remind them that all will be okay. The individuals might at first be upset because of their quick exit and because of things they believe might have been left unsaid or unfinished. If this is the case, their guides will offer them a preview of the lives of those who stayed behind. If the person is a father, he will be shown how his kids will move forward. He will find peace in what he is shown. Even his style of exit will offer all who knew him new opportunities for growth. It will be more productive for his kids and all those affected by his passing to learn the lessons they came here to learn without his physical presence.

As a soul group, all those involved will understand that his passing was simply another step in the learning process, and that his choice to move forward and return home allows those left behind opportunities for growth that would not have been available if he had physically stayed on Earth. For that reason, his passing is really a great gift, and not a curse to those left behind. They will grow in many ways because of the physical absence of this individual. This individual will continue his lesson plan at home for now. He will be available to those left behind. He will come to them in dreams, when the body sleeps and the mind is quiet, and reinforce to all that he is okay. He will offer guidance, be it through dreams or other means, to those who wish to receive it. If one of those left behind is advanced enough, he can appear to them in meditation.

If you are open to it, whether through meditation or dreams, your brother or sister who has left the body will appear to you and tell you that he or she is fine and at peace. They will watch over you and be proud, and they will offer you guidance whenever you ask. My friend, your brother or sister is still with you, and somewhere deep within you know that this is so.

In “Emmanuel Book 1,” the channeled spirit (through Pat Rodegast) talks about “accidents” and “accidental death:

18 There is no such thing as an accident. When your soul chooses to leave your physical body, it will leave. Life is not an amateur circus tent where those who enter are individual, lonely performers with no script and no director – only a tumbling about, a fling through the air, and then a crash. No, that is false. As souls, you are self-determining. You decide when to be born. You create your life every minute of every day by what you choose to believe. You decide when to die. All things evolve around the total truth of love, balance, order, cause and effect. These are Divine laws.

There is space for All in lifes Pattern and Plan.
No one is doing anything that they shouldn’t be doing.
All is going according to the Plan.
Just know that it is so and do not worry.
Then All of lifes ills will become easy to live with.
Easy to Understand.
There is NO such thing as wrong doing.
It Can Not Be.
For All doing is planned in infinite detail.
It is just the fact that you can not accept this that causes the difficulties.
If you could see it for the Plan that it is.
It would not trouble you like it does.
But you are so set in your ways – you think it is All one big accident – one big mistake.
Believe Me
There are no mistakes in your lives.
You made the Plan with help.
It looks like a mistake but it isn’t.
It is All leading to a place in time that you will All enjoy.
In time a place that will give you All joy beyond belief.
Believe Me.
Know it is True and Trust in life.
Life that you do not yet understand.
For it will be beautiful beyond belief.
Life will be So happy for you.
Just trust and wait awhile longer.
The Plan is nearing fruition.
There will come a time Soon when these words will be able to be understood.
By many – not by all – but by many.
Then these people will be the ones that will take life on to its conclusion My conclusion.
But not in the short term as you see time.
But in aeons of time.
The day is coming soon when things will start to be understood.
You are on the brink of that happening.
Be with Me on this and ….
Look Forward in Love.
The above is a ‘writting’ I receeived from spirit on 4th June 2004. One of many, some of the others are about our need to understand Forgiveness, and not judging others, for we do not know their plan. They are so similar to your book, I am looking forward to reading it, for it is already so familiar, it has also given me even more faith in the words that have been written through me.
