To Be Or Not To Be

Chapter 12: At Peace With The Afterlife

You Have Chosen to Remember: A Journey of Self-Awareness, Peace of Mind and Joy by James Blanchard Cisneros.

The soul is wise; it knows whether it is going to be born or not. If it is not going to come to term, and does not need to experience the abortion or miscarriage and all the emotions that go with it, it will not occupy the body of the fetus. If, for whatever reason, it is useful for the soul to experience the whole physical and emotional process of the abortion or miscarriage, then it will do so, and use it as a learning experience.

If the soul wants to be born, and it is in its best interest to be born, it will be born. If a woman has a miscarriage, then the soul will simply wait for its next opportunity. The miscarriage is a gift the woman offers herself and the soul. Although this might be very hard or even impossible for expecting parents to believe, it is so. It is, in absolute terms, a gift the woman and soul offer to all involved. The soul most often does not need to experience the miscarriage or abortion, and thus is not in the fetus when this event occurs. But there are also many times that the complete physical, emotional and spiritual connection needs to be made between the mother and soul before a miscarriage or abortion occurs. The soul will stick around as long as possible and leave before any physical pain is felt by the soul.

The soul will usually merge with the fetus between the fourth and eighth month of pregnancy. If the soul is inexperienced, it will need more time and will arrive earlier in the pregnancy (fourth to sixth month), to give it time to merge with the fetus. Souls do not usually merge with the body in the first trimester because there is simply not enough brain matter to work with. If the soul is more experienced, it will wait until later in the pregnancy (sixth to eighth month) to complete its connection to the fetus.

The soul will comfort the mother through pregnancy, through miscarriages or abortions. The soul holds no ill will toward the mother or father for terminating the pregnancy. In such cases, there is a very high probability that the same soul will re-enter the mother, if she decides to get pregnant again. If the mother, for whatever reason, can have no more children, then this soul will look to be reincarnated and be born to a close family member.
