Daily Inspiration: August 27. Lighting the Way for Others – Condensed Version
You are here, to help light the way, for those who are currently finding it too dark to see. Yet to fully shine, you must begin to discard those veils that you have placed upon your own light. Any time you resist offering, compassion, forgiveness, peace, and understanding, in essence your loving light, you place a veil before you that partially blocks your eternal light. When enough veils are placed on top of each other, they can become as thick as a wall and obscure your light. The light is always within you, but if you block your light, you will not be able to see or experience it in the world. When you are blocking your light, it is you who suffers most. We can notice when our light is blocked, because we end up wasting away our time on such things as fear, judgment, anger, condemnation, resentment and revenge.
Today, let us practice choosing the light, and thus align with who we came here to be. Free will, in every moment, offers us this choice, between the light and the darkness, between the Peace of God or the ego’s pain filled program. It is always the one that we ourselves believe that we are worthy of experiencing, that we will choose. Today, remind yourself, that as a child of The Light, you are forever worthy of experiencing it, and because we are all one, so too is everyone else. If you find yourself within the darkness, do not despair, this does not make you a bad or evil person, just one of God’s lost children, who has for moment in time, has forgotten their true nature and path. Do not despair, for God is merciful, and so through free will, align with the light in you, and simply choose once again.
All glory to God.
Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
