You are here to help light the way for those who are currently finding it too dark to see. Yet to fully shine your light, you must discard the veils you have placed before it. When you resist offering compassion, forgiveness, peace and understanding — all aspects of your loving light — you place veils between you and your function in this world. These veils partially block and dim your eternal, light-filled essence, nature and soul. When enough veils accumulate, they can become as thick as a wall and obscure your light. If you block your light, it will be challenging to recall your function in this world. In essence, when you block your light, it is you who ends up suffering most. We can tell when our light is blocked because we end up wasting our time and energy on emotions such as fear, judgment, anger and resentment.
Today, let us practice choosing in alignment with, and thus shining and sharing, the light within. This effort will always feel fruitful and fulfilling because it aligns us with who we came here to be. In every moment, we choose between the darkness and the light, between pain and peace. We choose and thus end up experiencing what, on some level, we value most. Today, remind yourself that as a child of the Light, you are here to be and share the light. If you find yourself in the darkness, do not despair. This does not make you a bad or evil person. This just shows you that you have temporarily forgotten your true nature. Do not worry, for God offers you guidance, mercy and grace. All you need to do is to take a deep breath and make a different choice. Simply recall what your function is, align with the light within, and offer this light to all those God sends your way. In doing so, your light shines brightly, helping guide you and your brothers and sisters out of the darkness and back into alignment with the light within.
