Daily Inspiration: August 5. No Longer Allowing the Ego to Reign Unencumbered – Condensed Version
Today, let us start pulling out the illusionary weeds that never belonged in our souls. As much as the ego may have programmed us to think otherwise, negative thoughts are not a part of our true eternal loving essence. Negative thinking has been learned, and thus can be unlearned. It is a foreign and false mindset, that we have bought into as ours and true. Now, only through our support, only through the time, focus and energy, that we invest into it, can this negative mindset continue to exist and grow within us. Regardless of what negative thoughts you have of yourself or others, these thoughts cannot continue to thrive in your life without your support. Thus, its existence does not rely on anything or anyone ‘out there,’ but on you, on your decision to support it or not.
Today, let us pay close attention to the thoughts that we are entertaining within our minds, that are not supportive of our loving nature. Let us remember, that it is only we who can think the thoughts we think. It is the thoughts within our minds, that shape and color the world we see. Let us practice catching ourselves as quickly as possible when an unloving thought pops up. Then let us truly feel that thought, and how unlike that thought is to our loving nature. Through forgiveness, let us choose to release and let go of that thought. Let us repeat this effort as many times as that unloving thought pops up. Finally, let us thank those who we perceive were responsible for having us think that thought, for in essence they are helping us clean up and liberate our hearts, and take back control of our own minds.
All glory to God.
Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
