Daily Inspiration: December 1. Thinking Your Way to Peace and Joy – Condensed Version

Whenever we are not feeling peaceful or joyous, it is because we are holding onto and valuing some misperception about ourself or others over our eternal, innocent, loving essence and nature. To return to a state of peace and joy, let us consciously choose to align our mind with the loving mind of God. In order to do so, think about what you have thought about yourself and others that Love, God, would not have thought. Then think about what you have not thought that Love, God, would think. Finally, change your thoughts to align your thinking with the mind of God. When your thoughts are loving in nature, this is a sign that your mind is aligned with the mind of God. Equally so, when your thoughts are unloving in nature, then let this be a sign to you that your mind is out of alignment with the mind of God. Being out of alignment with the mind of God is not your natural state. You will not find true, lasting peace of mind and joy as long as you are out of alignment with your all-loving Source.

Today, our goals are to be, radiate and share peace and joy. To help us accomplish these goals, let us use Love’s tools of forgiveness and trust. Let us forgive ourself and others when a thought we are thinking seems to be taking us off the path of peace and joy. Then let us rejoin this path of peace and joy by choosing to trust in the Divine design, knowing that everything that is occurring is happening with our best interests in mind. Today, the states of peace and joy become signs to us that our mind is aligned with the mind of God. When our mind is aligned with the mind of God, love and its expressions, such as peace and joy, become our constant companions. Today, let us recall that when we are happy and at peace, we are in our natural state, being who we were created by the Creator of peace and joy to be.

Whenever any thought other than a loving thought comes to mind, do not despair. Do not focus your time and energy on it. Simply recognize it as not being a real part of the truth in you, forgive it and yourself, and thank it for showing you who you no longer desire to be and represent. Then consciously realign with the loving thought that will bring you the most peace, and by doing so share the light that God created you to be.
