Daily Inspiration: December 2. Trust Reduces Guilt and Increases Peace – Condensed Version

Judging ourself and others as guilty runs in opposition to loving ourself and others as God would have us do. Guilt is a normal, though unconscious, response to doing the opposite of what God has created you to do. By doing the opposite of what God would have you do, in essence you are judging God as wrong. You will not find true peace and contentment as long as you continue to unconsciously judge God. Being all One, when you judge anyone including God, you are judging yourself. Yet do not despair, for guilt is not the home that God has built for us, peace is. The ego will make every effort to make us believe that guilt is the result of an outside force. This way, we don’t question it as being the source of our internal conflict. The ego does not want us questioning its advice. For if we do, we reduce its power over us.

Today, if judgment and guilt come calling, let that be a sign to us that we have placed our trust in the ego’s delusional mindset. Guilt, judgment, confusion and chaos are all results from trusting the ego’s ways of thinking. Let us choose to no longer invest our time, focus and energy into a mindset that produces so much despair. Instead, let us practice placing our full trust in God’s plan. We will know when we are doing this because peace results. God is Love and thus uses each step of our journey for good — to help us grow, heal and awaken. Knowing this, what further need is there to judge ourself and others, and to feel guilty for doing so? Today, through non-judgment, let us align with the mind of God. The more we do, the less burdens we will carry and the more peace of mind and joy we will have.

All glory to God.

Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
