Do not despair, for even our darkest nightmares end with us awakening from them. As difficult and draining as our emotional and mental pain may be, the only power they hold over us is the power that we give to them. If we give them no power (no more of our time, focus and energy), we will see their power over us diminish and then dissolve away. If we give them our time, focus and energy, then yes, that will give them a bigger hold over us. Yet no matter how much power they seem to hold over our experiences, once we awaken, we will we see them for what they are, false tales that have never represented our true, eternal, loving essence and nature. It is when we awaken to what they truly are — illusions, nothing, not real, not us — that we begin to let them go. Today, if we hold a belief about others or ourself that is hurting us, let us recall that, in any moment, free will allows us to let go of the beliefs that no longer serve us.
Today, if feeling weighed down by or stuck in the ego’s nightmarish tales, let us not despair. Being in the darkness does not represent the truth in us. It is simply there to show us that we are somewhere within our hearts and minds that we do not belong. Being Love’s creations, we do not belong in alignment with dark energetic expressions, such as judgment, condemnation, frustration, fear, doubt, shame or guilt. Let us recall this and now use this self-awareness to help us awaken from the ego’s nightmare. Consciously choosing to align with the energetic expression of the love that God is (such as forgiveness, compassion, trust in the Divine, mercy and grace) will signal to us that we are awakening. And so today, rejoice knowing that thanks to free will, the shift from condemnation to forgiveness, from fear to faith, from pain to peace, and thus from being asleep to awakening, is just one simple and gentle choice away.
All glory to God.
Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
