Today, let us choose to transcend this world, not by dying, but by changing our mind about its purpose. Let us end our outer search for a truth and purpose that already resides within. We do not need to ask our family, friends, peers or society what we should or should not do, or who we should or should not be. Instead, let us go within and ask our own soul to remind us of the purpose of our journey. Your purpose will most likely not result from what the world wants you to do. It will not result from comparing yourself to others. It results from following your soul’s song, whatever that may be. Today, let us stop buying into what this world defines as valuable and important. Instead, let us look within to understand what aligns us with our passions, hopes and dreams.
Today, let us shift our awareness from an external journey to an internal one. We can do this by asking ourself throughout the day: “Does what I am thinking, saying and doing feel right? Is it bringing me peace of mind and joy? Am I passionate about this? Does it fulfill me? Is it aligning me with the love that I am and was created to be?” The more you decide to move in the direction of your passions, desires and dreams, the more natural and normal this way of being will become. If you find yourself out of alignment, do not punish yourself or others for this. Instead, use the circumstances to remind you that you have co-created your journey with God, Love, and thus your journey should reflect what you love to do. What you love to do, what you are passionate about, is what you have come here to do. It is your journey’s purpose.

James i am a huge fan of yours and the course in miracles. Every night before bed I read a passage in your book and then read the course in miracles and feel a deeper understanding of both together. I am new to these daily messages and didn’t know they were offered and have to say reading this first thing and reading the book last thing in a day is really bringing me closer to God. Thank you so much for all you do. Will there be a future book??

Good reading but am unable to do what is asked of me..I feel lost and cant connect to anything…

If you feel lost and like you can not connect to anything, then place your focus away from yourself, and focus on other people. For we are all One, and so when you help others, you heal yourself.
Even if it is for 5 more minutes each day or each week, practice bringing people a little more peace, a little more compassion, a little more love, a little more joy, to their lives. Even if you feel like you have to force yourself to do so, do so. Do so, and little by little, you will begin to once again awaken to and encounter, the truth in you, who in truth you are and have come here to be and share.
