Daily Inspiration: January 21. Offering Forgiveness when Forgiving Seems Too Hard to Do – Condensed Version

If you are having problems forgiving yourself or another, or if all you can feel are thoughts of judgment, resentment, anger, hatred or revenge darkening your path, do not despair. Simply know that it is not the truth in you that is currently in control of your thinking. If you are not in control of your thinking, then you are not in control of your mind or life. Today, take back control of your life by taking back control of your thinking. You can do this by taking back control of the thoughts you are choosing to think, support and entertain. Today, if judgment-filled thoughts pop up, recall that they have taken you nowhere that you desire to be. Stop your support of these thoughts by no longer spending your time, focus and energy on them. Then support and fuel the thoughts that will lead you to the life you want.

Today, if the ego demands judgment, let us recall that the ego’s advice has never brought us to the state of peace. Then let us do the opposite of what the ego’s demands, and forgive. If we still cannot find it in us to forgive, then let us ask God to forgive for us. The highest part of us is one with God. Thus when God leads the way, we naturally desire to follow in His footsteps. Let us feel God’s forgiveness showering upon our brothers and sisters. Let us feel how freeing it feels to release judgment’s heavy burdens. Then let us ask God to bless our brothers and sisters — to bring healing to their hearts and peace to their minds. The more we practice doing so, the more natural it will feel for us to choose forgiveness over judgment, and thus peace over pain.

All glory to God.

Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.

Thank you, James, for the wisdom, peace and joy you’ve brought to me with your forgiveness message. I already prayed to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ within your message, several times, to bring peace, forgiveness, light, joy and love to the minds and hearts of the two people who had wronged me. Take care, James…your best friend always, Rudy

Thank you Rudy for your comment.

May we each day align only with the all-loving mind of God, and by doing so offer our brothers and sisters and all those who have hurt us our forgiveness, compassion mercy and grace.

All glory to God.

I am new to this. But all these things are right up my alley.Forgiving is so hard to do.Forgiving me, some family members and 2 ex husbands — not foor me but for the hurts put on my children

Thank you Christine for being open to the message.

When the ego demands you judge and not forgive ask yourself: What is truly harder, to forgive or to log around the heavy burden of judgment? When you forgive you set yourself free and in doing so return to your natural state of mind, the state of peace. When you judge, condemn and hold on to anger and resentment you slowly begin to corrode from the inside out, you pollute all relationships that are a part of that process, and you end up tossing and turning at night unable to fall peacefully to sleep.

Today, place all judgments, anger and resentment in God’s arms. He wants you to sincerely offer all your pain to Him. He wants you to be freed from your darkness so that you can fulfill your function as the light of the world.

Today, forgive instead of judge over and over agin until it becomes second nature to do so. Do so and you’ll finally receive the peace of mind and joy that as God’s child and creation you so deserve.

Peace. JBC
