The ego has programmed us to condemn ourselves and others for having experienced difficult times in the past. It tries to convince us that we had these experiences because we were unwise, bad, unlucky, unworthy or not spiritual enough. Today, let us practice reversing the thinking of the ego’s mindset. Let us choose to see and understand the challenging times we had in the past as the blessings that they truly were. Let us look back at our past and see how the difficult times actually brought us some of our greatest life lessons and wisdom. If our past experiences gave us these gifts, were they ever really bad in the first place? If they helped us grow and gave us opportunities to heal and become wiser and more compassionate, then let us do our best to see and deal with them with appreciation and grace.
Today, if the ego tries to use your past to haunt you, stop its line of thinking. Then recall the important lessons and wonderful wisdom you have acquired, thanks to your past experiences. You would not be this higher conscious version of yourself if it were not for your past. Reflect on the gifts that your past has offered you. Be grateful to all those who were part of your learning process. Today, offer your past, and everyone from it, gratitude for who you are now. By doing so, you will experience the peace that is a divine expression of the truth in you. Today, when the ego tries to haunt you with your past, stop it, and use the moment to practice taking back control of your thoughts. Once you are back in control of your thoughts, you are in control of your mind and life. Acknowledge the gifts your past has offered you and how it has helped you become the more conscious and compassionate being that you are today.
All glory to God.
Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
