Today, when the ego’s programs demand that we judge another, let us recall that we have traveled this road thousands of times before. Let us recall that these demands have never taken us to the state of peace. Let us now use the request, not to see the face of guilt, but instead to see the face of divine innocence. The symbol of the face of divine innocence can come in many different forms. Simply choose the one that you are most comfortable with. It could be seeing the face of Christ, Buddha or Krishna on those who the ego demands you condemn. Equally so, you can practice seeing the face of someone you highly respect. You could see the face of someone like Dr. King or Gandhi on all men, and the face of Mary (mother of Jesus) or Mother Teresa on all women. Simply practice replacing the face of guilt with the face of divinity. When you do, you will feel and behold the ego’s judgments dissolve before your love, light and understanding.
Today, no matter how we have been programmed to see others, let us view them as God does, through Love’s lens. By seeing everyone as innocent and divine, we will train ourselves to see every part of us as innocent and worthy of being loved. When you see everyone as divine, as sacred and innocent, the states of mercy, peace and grace become your constant companions. The more you see in this manner, the more natural and normal this behavior becomes. Today, no longer allow the ego’s delusions and deceptions to obscure the face of the divine. No longer buy into the ego’s fairy tales about your brothers and sisters as true. Now, free from judgment, return Home to the state of peace.
