You may sometimes feel lonely, but you are never alone. God is All, and you, as His creation, are a part of that Whole. Thus in truth, it is impossible to ever be alone. To think that you could ever be alone, you must first have bought into the ego’s fairy tale that says that you are separate from God. Yet because God is All, that in and of itself is not possible. Second, you would have to believe that God does not care about you. But because God is Love, that too cannot be true. Third, you have to be convinced by the ego that you are unworthy of God. But God, being perfect, only creates perfectly, and you are His creation. There is nothing you need to do or not do to establish your worth. Your worth was fully established in your creation. For these reasons and more, let us be grateful to God for never having been left alone.

Today, if you are feeling lonely, do not continue to focus on thoughts that only take you further into darkness. Instead, focus on expressing your loving nature in whatever ways the moment seems to be requesting. If the ego demands judgment, offer forgiveness. If it tries to have you separate from others through anger and hate, instead be compassionate and understanding. Become a beacon of joy to the joyless and bring hope to those feeling hopeless. You are Love’s creation, and service is love put into action. Anytime you are being love, of service, you will feel your connection to God, to All, increasing and your sense of feeling alone decreasing. Gratitude, as another expression of love, also unites you with others. Today, be grateful to all those who give you the opportunity to serve them. Today, know that God is with you, not because you call on Him, but because God, being Love and All, has never left you.
