We have been subjected to the ego’s programming for so long that its false concepts now seem natural, normal and real. We now think of the ego’s false idols as parts of us. There is who we have been programmed to believe we are, and who we are in truth. Whenever we are expressing ourself through the ego’s tools such as judgment of self and others, frustration, anger, resentment, anxiousness, worry, hate or revenge, we are supporting our false self as real. If we believe these false concepts are real, then we will come to their defense. If we know them to be false, then there is no need for us to defend them or ourself against them. The more we support our false self as real with our time, focus and energy, the more we think our false self is actually who we are and were created to be.
Today, when any of the ego’s false idols come knocking on our mind’s door, let us decide to no longer entertain them. The less we place our time, focus and energy on them, the less power they have over us. This helps us get a clearer picture of who we truly are, of our eternal, loving essence and nature. This then helps us become a better example for those who are still stuck worshipping their false idols and selves as real. Our mission today is to remain centered and at peace even within the ego’s storm. This way, we become a beacon of light for those lost in the ego’s madness. And so today, let us we stand strong and steady in our true nature. This will assist our brothers and sisters in letting go of who they are not and coming back into alignment with their loving essence and nature.
