Daily Inspiration: May 4. A Daily Self-Forgiveness Practice – Condensed Version
Being that we are all One, when the ego demands we judge another, and yet we choose to value forgiveness more than judgment, we see our brothers and sisters as innocent, and in doing so, also see that part of ourselves as innocent. The more parts of yourself that you see as innocent, the more peace you will experience, and the more worthy of forgiveness you will feel. The more you practice choosing forgiveness over judgment, the more peace you will experience. Again, being that we are all One, as you consciously practice forgiving others, which are all just external reflections of your internal condition, you will be equally unconsciously teaching yourself, that it is ok and right to forgive yourself. The more you offer forgiveness to others, the more deserving and worthy of forgiveness you will feel.
Today, anytime that the ego demands that I judge another, I instead see and recognize this as an opportunity, that he or she is offering me, to learn how to more completely heal and forgive, my whole self. I have held my forgiveness from myself long enough. I now know the pain and anguish that not forgiving my whole self brings to my heart, mind and soul. Now, instead of judging others, which in truth are but parts of me, and judging myself for judging them, as the ego would have me do, I thank them for showing me, how I can once again begin to unite with the Oneness of God, by simply forgiving those part of myself that they represent. Today, I acknowledge that the more parts of myself that I forgive, the closer I come to truly understanding, that it is ok and right, to forgive myself.
All glory to God.
