Success is an illusionary concept used by the ego to try to separate you from God and others. It does this so that it can have you all to itself. When you judge your journey as less or more successful than other people’s journeys, then you are aligning with the ego’s mindset. You are valuing fairy tales over truth. The truth is that each one of our journeys is of use in God’s plan, which is why we are all here now. Your journey is already successful because you have co-designed it with the Divine. Every thought, word, action, reaction and interaction is a moment of creation and thus of growth. You have come here to grow. If you are doing what you came here to do, then you are succeeding and a success. That is all you need to recall to let go of the ego’s delusional need to compare yourself to others.
Today, if you find yourself judging your or another person’s journey as anything other than a success: First, remind yourself that you have co-designed your journey with the Divine, and thus your journey is perfect for you. Second, recall that each person’s journey is also divinely designed, and thus perfect for them. Third, remember that if God did not need you and your unique journey here now, then you would not be here now. Fourth, remember that when other people judge your journey, it is only the sleeping, unaware parts in them that could ever do so. Fifth, recall that someone who is awake has no need to judge someone who is sleeping. Sixth, become an example to others of non-judgment, and thus of a mind that is at peace with its journey. Seventh, be grateful to God for the free will you have to enjoy your life exactly as it is.
