How can we help heal this world if our foundation, our own mind, is not yet healed? How can we give someone something we do not have? How can we help fill this world with compassion, forgiveness, peace and understanding if our own mind does not fully support this way of thinking yet? Today, if this world seems to manifest in an unloving manner, let us not look to blame it or those in it. Blaming others is a dead-end road that we have travelled many times before. Blame has never brought us to our desired destination, healing and the states of peace and joy. Instead, let us look within, heal our thoughts about this world first, and then look upon this world through this new lens. Let this new lens and way of seeing the world align us with the loving mind of God. Now, seeing only through Love’s lens, expressions such as compassion, forgiveness, peace and understanding become our constant companions. It is our own mind that defines and thus births the world we see. So today, let us practice taking greater personal responsibility for the lens we use, the thoughts we think, and thus for how we define, view and experience the world we see.
Today, whenever an unhealed thought tries to enter your mind, make a conscious decision that you will no longer sacrifice anymore of your time, focus and energy to it. Now learn to use such thoughts to trigger you to heal. Use your awareness of the unhealed thought to consciously stop that line of thinking and choose thoughts that will help build and experience the world you want. Now, aligned with Love, correct your thoughts before they leave your mind. Then through Love’s expressions, such as compassion, forgiveness and understanding, begin anew. Now healed, let your loving thought radiate and color the world you choose to support and thus see, experience and share.
