Today, do not judge yourself as selfish for doing what brings you joy. Instead, recall that when you feel joy, you become a beacon of joy for others. Joy, as an expression of love, is a reflection of our eternal essence and nature. The joyous state is our true Home. Joy is God’s inheritance. We, as God’s children, are forever worthy of His inheritance. Just as rivers flow toward the sea, so too do we all desire to be joyful. When you choose to align with your joy, others will see that this same possibility exists for them. They will be attracted to your way of being because deep down they will understand that what is possible for you is also possible for and available to them.
Today, do what brings joy to your heart and makes your soul sing. Become the beacon of joy that you were created by God to be. Shine your light bright for all to see. The more others see your joy, the more they will recognize that this feeling is possible for them. This will help them become beacons of joy for others. In this manner, your joy and light helps lead this world to a place of healing and peace. Do not feel shamed into dimming your light. Instead, hold your unique light up high and shine your light bright for all to see. You are not who you are by chance. Your unique expression of the light within you is God’s gift to you and when you share it, it becomes your gift to this world.
