Daily Inspiration: September 18. Exchanging Judgment for Forgiveness and Gratitude – Condensed Version

Today, when a judgmental thought tries to enter our mind’s gate, let us stop feeding and fueling it with our time, focus and energy. Instead, let us practice offering forgiveness and gratitude to the thought and those involved. We offer forgiveness because we now know that the judgmental thought and those involved are simply offering us the opportunity to see what false concepts we are still holding within as real and true. We give them our gratitude because they are showing us where, within our heart and mind, we are still supporting the ego’s mindset as being more real and valuable than the loving mind of God. This practice helps us take back control of our own mind so that we can then align it with the mind of God. The quicker we can regain control of our mind, the more clearly we will be able to see that the ego’s judgment-centered thoughts have nothing of real value to offer us.

Today, our goal to exchange judgment for forgiveness and gratitude can be broken down into six steps. First, let us catch ourself as quickly as we can when we find ourself aligned with the ego’s judgment-centered mindset. Second, let us stop investing our time, focus and energy on these thoughts. Third, let us forgive all those who are involved with these thoughts. Fourth, let us offer gratitude to everyone involved for helping us realize that we do not have to support a mindset that does not support us. Fifth, let us practice reminding ourself that as God’s creation, we are worthy of the peace of mind that forgiveness offers. Sixth, let us thank our life experiences for giving us the wisdom to now be able to consciously choose God’s loving expressions of forgiveness and gratitude, over the ego’s illusionary and pain-filled state of judgment.

All glory to God.

Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
