Daily Inspiration: August 28. The Biggest Critic and Supporter of You – Is You

We might get upset at what others say about us. Spend countless hours, days, weeks, months or even years judging them for judging us. Yet, what others say to us is of much less importance than how we speak to ourselves on a continual basis. No one in this world will speak to you more in your lifetime than you will. No one has the power to criticize or support you more than you do. The thoughts you think about yourself and the words you say about yourself on a daily basis should be your primary focus. Understanding this, let us begin a cleansing process by minimizing or eliminating self-defeating thoughts and words, and replacing them with self-enhancing thoughts and words. The more we learn to support ourselves, the less others’ opinions of us will affect us. As we become more supportive, we strengthen  our foundation, our true loving nature. When our foundation is solid, it becomes harder for others opinions of us to shake us. When our foundation is strong, our sense of being One with God’s plan solidifies. God is Love, and so any loving thoughts or words we use, unifies us with our Source. The more align we are with Love, the less the thoughts that seem to be in opposition to Love will have an affect on us. The more we see only loving thoughts as real, the less we will value thoughts that try to place themselves in opposition to Love. God does not create imperfectly. Any thought that makes us think or believe that we or others are less than love is simply an ego programmed response. Today, let us stop supporting a mindset, a way of thinking that supports judgmental and critical thoughts of the truth in us as real.

Today, challenge your past judgment centered programs by recalling that the past is gone and thus can no longer hurt you. The only way you can be hurt by something that no longer exists is by placing your focus on it and thus dragging it onto the now. Today, let us stop punishing ourselves with our own thoughts. Stop trying to resurrect what no longer serves you. Forgive yourself and others. Let go, release your suffering and pain. It is by doing so that you return to the present moment, God’s eternal gift. Within the eternal now, only the Love of God resides. If we experience anything within the now that is not in some way, shape or form an expression of God’s Love, then we are not in the now. If we are not in the now then we are not where we belong. If we are not in the now we will feel lost and confused. How much longer must we punish ourselves with a judgment centered mindset that in truth no longer exist? The ego’s delusional scales of justice can never be balanced because they are not real. Today, think of and focus on this: What if God, in every step of your journey, only saw His perfect creation as perfect? What if God never saw your errors because in them He sees only your growth? All you need do to find true support and peace within the now, is to choose to see as God sees. Let us learn to see the now as the opportunity for growth and healing that it was designed by the Creator of the Universe to be. Let us understand that because we are His children, God only has our best interests in mind. Wouldn’t it make sense to at least try to see and treat ourselves like God sees and treats us? Wouldn’t it make sense to speak to ourselves through the energy of Love? We are Love’s children. There is nothing real about us that is anything other than this Perfect Eternal Love. Let us today trust that only the Love in us is true, and choose to align our thoughts, words and actions, only with that Truth.

Today, let us practice using only self-loving and self-respecting thoughts and words. When we think this way of others, being all One, we will be unconsciously reinforcing this truth about ourselves. Today, let us realize that the person we see in the mirror is a physical representation and reflection of the thoughts we think and words we use. Let us no longer wait for an outside world to build us up. That job now belongs to us. Let us now take personal responsibility for aligning with a loving mindset that will reflect Who we want to represent in this world.  When we are feeling low or find ourselves putting ourselves or others down, let us not continue to support this delusional way of thinking. Instead, let such an environment help trigger in us the memory that it is we who are ultimately responsible for the thoughts we think, and thus how we talk to ourselves and others. Today, let us work on finding ways to lift ourselves up. Let us be an example to those who have fallen into the ego’s judgment pit that they don’t have to remain there. Let us help them recall that they can, through the thoughts they think and words they verbalize, lift themselves back up. Now, if we find ourselves in the ego’s pit, let us simply realize where we are and stop feeding a delusional mindset that keeps us in the dark. Let us recall that being light filled beings, we do not belong in the dark. Then let us align with the light within and in doing so become loving and respectful of self and others. Now, understanding that it is we who control the thoughts we think, let us  no longer blame the outer world or anyone else in it for how we feel. Now, with our own thoughts and words we lift ourselves up.  In doing so, being all One, we become an example for all those who want to awaken.

Today, let us realize that there is no one in this world who will speak to us more throughout our lifetime than we will. Understanding this, let us today become our greatest supporters. Today, let us go from the unconscious state to the conscious state, from judging ourselves to lifting ourselves up. Still, if we once again find ourselves in the unconscious state, let us not despair. Let us simply recognize that being children of the Light, that we do not belong in the darkness. Let us now learn to use the darkness, not to fall further into despair but instead as a trigger mechanism that helps lead us out of anger, punishment and pain, and into forgiveness, peace and understanding. Today, if you find yourself being self-critical, stop that line of thinking, remind yourself that you are God’s creation, and that because the Divine is Perfect, He only creates perfectly.

James, the gifts you give to so many on a daily basis are priceless. Thank you for the energy and love you pour into each daily message. You are truly a gift to humanity.
I so needed this day’s lesson. I store your messages daily and look back for the one I need most for this day. I AM my own worst critic, especially with having a chronic pain condition. If I feel I have not “done enough” or gotten enough accomplished, I berate myself and feel like I’ve wasted a whole day. What I accomplish in any given day is directly tied to how I feel about myself. This has been an on-going dialog with my ego. It so enjoys making me feel unworthy.
But because of your message, I am reminded I have a choice. For this, I am truly grateful. God bless.

Lovely words Daun, thank you for being open to the messages and for being member of our community.

You are worthy, not because of what you do or do not do, you are worthy because Perfect Love created you and God only creates perfectly.
You are worthy because of who you are, Love in physical form.

Tomorrow’s August 29th post will also be a good one for you to practice applying.

Let us together become a gift to humanity by simply being the love that God created us to be.

Peace. JBC
