Daily Inspiration: December 27. Working Through “Negative” Emotions

When you are dealing with and trying to work through “negative” emotions consider the following:

1 – Your journey is a sacred co-creation with God:

Do not allow others or even your own ego to put down or judge the sacred nature of the journey you have co-designed with the Divine. Having co-designed your journey with Love, each step along this path, regardless of how the ego has programmed you to view it, is sacred. Know that the ego would insist otherwise. It wants you to judge yourself as wrong or not good or spiritual enough for experiencing “negative” emotions. But recall that the ego’s fuel source is judgment. The ego needs your judgments to survive and thrive. Understanding this, now when judgment comes to mind, no longer buy into its lies as true. Now, instead use judgment to trigger in you the realization that God being Love will use all your emotions and interactions for your good. Even the so-called negative ones He will use to help you heal and awaken you to your loving nature.

An addict in recovery can best understand, advise, and help and another addict heal. Equally so those who overcome their negative emotions will best be able to assist those who are now buying into their delusions as true. There is a great need for people like us. For those who have bought into the ego’s programming but decided it was not in alignment with the truth in them. For those who now thanks to their life experience can teach others how to overcome the darkness. This understanding and knowledge then turns your so-called negative emotions into teaching tools that are used for good.

2 – Negative emotions are learned behaviors:

God is Love and All therefore anything apart from this Love is illusionary in nature. It is simply a false concept we have been taught by the ego as true. The ego’s fabricated ideas are those such as judgment of self and others, anger, resentment and hate. None of these are a part of our true and eternal loving essence and nature. They are very simply learned behaviors. The more you buy into them, the more you defend and support them as real, the more a ‘real’ part of you and your life they seem to become. But equally so take your time, focus and energy from them and they begin to dissolve before your light and understanding.

The beauty of free will is that whatever we have learned that is not working for us we can unlearn. We can undo what we have done. If you desire to unlearn simply on a moment-to-moment basis practice catching yourself when in the state of judgment and stop. Then remind yourself that it is you who should be controlling your thoughts and that your thoughts should not be controlling you.
You will know when your truth, your loving eternal essence is back in control of your thinking, when your thoughts are peaceful in nature.

3 – Take your power back by taking personal responsibility for feeling your negative emotions:

The world you are experiencing is the world that through your thoughts, time, focus and energy you have made. If you desire to leave the world you have made then start taking greater personal responsibility for the thoughts that helped build it. Stop blaming the outside world and those in it for how you feel. They cannot make you feel anything without your permission. It is never what others do to you. It is how you react to what others do that defines your experience. Do not allow the ego through judgment to define your experience. Instead align with your loving nature and begin to redefine and shape your experience. No longer give away your time, focus and energy to thoughts that don’t support you. Instead learn to use that time, focus and energy to start supporting thoughts that will support the life and experience you want.

Practice reversing the thinking of the ego’s world. When any negative emotions comes knocking on your mind’s door do not judge them for that only gives them a power they should not have. Instead offer them your gratitude for helping you realize you no longer need to support thoughts that don’t align you with your loving nature. They in their own way are helping free you from the ego’s mindset and world. Now in control of your thoughts simply offer this world the opposite of what the ego wants. When the ego demands judgment offer forgiveness. The the ego insist upon condemnation instead offer compassion. When it tells you to worry instead trust God more.

4 – Negative emotions are not a curse, but a call to action:

You have the final say of how you choose to spend your time and thus your experience on this planet. The moment is yours to do with as you wish. It is in the present moment where we create the life we experience. It is within the now where our destiny is birthed. Today slowly take back control of the present moment. You do so by seeing your negative emotions not as a curse to judge yourself and others for but instead as a call to action. Not as feelings and emotions we need to hide from or suppressed but instead are felt, processed, understood, forgiven, healed and with love let go. Not as thoughts you are made to feel ‘wrong’ for but thoughts that are part of your sacred lesson plan and mission on this planet.

You are here to bring light into the darkness. Truth into the ego’s delusion. Hope to those who are feeling lost and in need of healing. Your teaching tools will be provided by the Universe. Gently look upon each and every day as a simple lesson in overcoming negative emotions, the false, and seeing only the love in us as true. Become thankful for all of your life experience. Learn to become thankful for all of the so-called ups and downs for they are here to help us recall who in truth we are. Once we recall who in truth we are it is then that we are to share our life experience and knowledge with others. Today, answer the Universe’s call to action. Do so by serving with our time, focus and energy only the thoughts, words and emotions that will help design and build the life and destiny you want.

My addiction, fueled in part by an ego run rampant, has caused so much pain and suffering. One side of my brain manufactures these lies, the other side believes them. This inspirational will help me to remember this, that they are not the truth, and that I am capable of so much good. Thank you so much for these Daily Inspirations. They are a great way to start my day and keep me on track!

Thank you Paul for being a member of our community. Whenever you are not at peace, practice using such instances, not as a way to put yourself or another down, but as opportunities to practice healing and thus aligning with and strengthening the love that in truth you are. Use such situations to practice forgiving self and others, and truly feel how wonderful forgiveness, as an expression of love, truly is. You are God’s creation, and we are all One, we are all forever worthy of God’s love, forgiveness and peace. Practice remembering this truth as true, so that you may one day teach this truth as true.
