Daily Inspiration: December 9. Shining the Light Into Our Shadows

Rejoice! A great and wondrous blessing is being bestowed upon us today. It is a blessing because it is an acknowledgement by God that we are ready to become an even brighter light in this world. Now we are self-aware enough to shine the light onto the remaining shadows in our mind. Awakening from our illusionary dreams, we no longer need to cower away, hiding in the dark crevasses of our minds. Now we know that what produced fear in our mind had placed itself in opposition to All, and thus could not be real or true. Now we see our shadows for what they are — fiction. Only the light in us is truly real. When our light shines on everyone and all, shadows cease to be. The more we focus our time and energy on our light, the less power the remaining shadows will have over us.

Today, as the Son once again rises in us, let us witness that as our Creator’s creations we could only ever be the love that the Divine is. Today, when shadows or its symbols such as judgment, anger, resentment and hate, seem to appear, let us not despair. Instead, let us realize that they are but shadows and thus have no true power. If shadows appear then let us take such opportunities not to hurt self and others but to heal. Let us consciously align with our loving truth and offer our light to those our shadows would seem to want to attack. This way we bring our shadows or misperceptions to surface so that the light within us can shine on them, forgive them, and let them go. Then let us thank God for the knowledge and discernment we now have. Now we know that we can in any moment choose our light over our shadows and thus our truth over the ego’s delusions.

Today, let us understand how those our ego once had us curse were actually trying to bless us. What those we once curse were actually doing was helping us see the shadows that still remained within. Thank to our brothers and sisters we no longer need to log around deceptions we had been programmed to believe as real. We no longer need to support the false as true. Any thought that is in opposition to God’s Love can only be but a deception we had been taught by the ego as real. If we are reacting to, judging and losing our peace of mind over something that is not even real than that is on us and not on our brothers and sisters. Our brothers and sisters are innocent because God created them. Only the truth in them is true, eternal and real. If we have made what is false appear to be real then it is up to us to awaken from the dream we through our own misperceptions have created. The ego’s shadows, fantasies, fairy tales, deceptions and lies, no matter how real they may appear at that moment to be will never be anything but a dream. Today, let us no longer react to our dreams of ourselves or others as true. Today, whomever or whatever we once condemned now awake we will pray for and bless. Such actions will align us with the mind of God. Once aligned, we can humbly reflect and represent Love on Earth. Let us remind ourselves throughout the day that no matter what forms our shadows take they are all equally false, not true, not us. From corrupt politicians here and around the world, to social, racial, economic injustices, greed, corruption and fear. This are all forms and expressions of those who remain asleep to the truth in them. Non of these expression will ever represent the truth in them, their true and eternal loving essence and nature.

A lost child like that shadow within our own mind needs help and healing, not anger and condemnation. Let us recall that anger and condemnation, being symbols and aspects of the shadow, only feed, help strengthen and grow the shadow. Shadows will never be dispersed by other shadows. Only light can disperse and dissolve them. Today, let us honestly ask ourselves: “What kind of world do we want our children to inherit?” A world obscured by shadows or lit by Love’s light. Such a world always begins as a choice within our own hearts and minds. Today, let us not focus on the ego’s screams but on our heart’s whispers. The ego having programmed us to hear it will always answer first and loudest. Do not despair, simply and calmly stop and remind yourself that lies can never be true. Consciously recognize the shadows for what they are, gently place them aside, align with your loving light, and allow the truth in you to lead the way. Today, when the ego demands we condemn our so-called enemies we instead with all our heart and soul pray for them and for their peace of mind. We pray they obtain joy, health, healing and awakening just as we would if they were our own family for in truth that is who they are. Today, let us recall anything other than the love that is within us is a shadow. Shadows do not belong within us, within the light. We no longer curse our shadows nor ourselves for experience them as real. Instead, we see them for what they are lies we had been taught as true. Now, when a shadow pops up we simply shine the light of love on it. As we do, we watch it dissolve and disappear before our light and understanding.
