We are God’s creations, and God is Love, therefore we are physical manifestations of Love. Service, as an expression and extension of Love, is Love put into action. If Love put into action is service, then any time we’re being or expressing Love, we’re being of service. We are offered many opportunities throughout the day to be of service in many different ways. The more present we become, the more easily we will be able to recognize the opportunities that are being offered to us to be of service. Being all One, when you are of service to another, you too will feel this blessing. A good way to begin to figure out how you can be of service, is to go inward and study what you are personally passionate about. Understand what makes you feel good, peaceful and joyful. Then, each day start placing more of your time, focus and energy, on being, representing and expressing, the actions that fulfill you. You are here to create as God created, through love. You are here to be a representative of the Love of God, in your own unique and sacred ways. Be who you came here to be, that is how you can best serve this world. Be who you came here to be, and others will be inspired by your passions and sense of mission and purpose. You will inspire others because they too naturally desire to become who they came here to be. They too desire to feel fulfilled, express and experience their passions, and accomplish their unique mission and purpose on this planet. As you begin to consciously align with who you were created to be, you will spend less time forcing yourself into trying to be who this world has programmed you to be. As you begin to focus on your light, on your true nature, you will shine brighter and brighter each day. Your example will help many recall the light in them. They will begin to recall that there is also a reason why they are here. That there is also an important part for them to play.
When your mind is focused on being of service, you are aligning it with the energy of Love, with God. When you are aligned with God, love, peace, patience, joy, forgiveness, kindness, become your natural expressions and constant companions. The more you focus, in your own unique ways, on being Love’s expressions, the more your life will begin to reflect one of service. Do not concern yourself with exactly how you are to be of service, for you will be guided on what to say and do along the way. There are innumerable ways to express Love, your truest essence, and to be of service. Imaging, how our days would look like, if we simply made the conscious decision to smile more at one another. Just sharing a smile, is an act of service. By praying for one another, we are being of service. When we give hope to one another, we are being of service. When we are being forgiving or kind to one another, we are being of service. Anytime we are being the love that in truth we are and were created to be, we are being of service. Do not underestimate the service that you can provide to this planet, and to those who have been placed along your sacred path. Your personal mission is individualized and unique to you. Your mission, and the tools for that mission, are within you right now. Do you not make sure that your children have everything they need for school before they leave your house? Do you not think that God has made sure that you had everything that you needed before you left His House? Do not worry nor despair, you will accomplish what you have come here to do. Now, if you ever feel a sense of lack, know that it is not because you are lacking anything. It is because that expression of love within you is calling out to have a greater voice in your life.
Let us today make a specific point and conscious effort to align with our loving nature and be of service. Today, all actions, reactions and interactions, no matter how the ego has programmed us to see them, are being offered to us in order to practice being of service. If someone ‘makes you’ angry, practice being of service by forgiving them. If someone is frustrating you, practice being of service by being more patient. If someone feels sad, practice being of service by trying to bring them joy. If someone is feeling unloved, practice being of service by offering her a hug and some kind words. Giving up your seat on the bus, is being of service. Opening the door for someone, is being of service. Making that call you have been delaying to make, is being of service. We do not have to be in a specific service field or line of work, to be of service. Every kind and caring interaction, being an expression of Love, is a time where we are being of service. Every time we express love to another, in the hundreds of ways Love can be expressed, we are being of service. Every time we are sharing our wisdom, life experience and lessons, and helping others overcome what we overcame, we are being of service. Do not underestimate the numerous opportunities that you will have throughout your day and life, to be of service. We will be put in place many times today to be of service. Just stay present. Remember your goal. Keep your heart, mind and eyes, open to the opportunities when they present themselves to you. Then offer your service, the Love that in truth you are. Today, let us remember, that we are all One, and so when we are serving any of our brothers or sisters, we are in essence serving God.
Today, let us slow down our step and pace in order to try to catch any opportunity we are given to be of service. We do so by reminding ourselves throughout the day, before every situation and interaction, of what our goal is. Before you enter any location, remind yourself: “My goal here, at this location, is to in some way, shape or form, be of service.” Before you meet with anyone, remind yourself: “My goal with this person, is to be of service to him or her.” Even when you forget to set up your goal, during the interaction take a moment to remind yourself, that you are here to be of service. When you notice you missed an opportunity to be of service, do not put yourself down for this. Instead, use the experience to better help prepare you for the next time that such an opportunity presents itself.
