video of James reading with commentary |
We have been programmed by the ego to judge ourselves as “less than” or “not spiritual enough” for feeling stressed, angry and resentful. But today, as representatives of the Love that created us, we are here to help reverse the thinking of the ego’s world. We can do this by first reacting to these states of mind with our gratitude. Gratitude — because they are showing us when we have lost our way. When we are out of alignment with our loving nature, we have lost our way, and are out of alignment with the mind of God. The sooner we can catch ourselves when out of alignment with the mind of God, the less anguish and pain we will experience.
Peace is our true Home, at One with our Creator. When we shift our mindset to be appreciative and grateful for all we were once programmed to judge and curse, it is then that our minds are in alignment with the Mind of God. Appreciation, gratitude, forgiveness, peace, compassion and understanding, all these are expressions of Love, of who God is, and thus of who we in truth are. Imagine, a day when you begin to see all your brothers and sisters with appreciation and gratitude. Would the state of peace not become your residency. Would it not become a greater part of your day, and thus a greater reflection of your life? Imagine, the relief we will feel once we no longer have to punish ourselves by carrying judgment’s burdens. Our journey being a perfect co-design with God, now we see every seeming imperfection as part of our perfect process. Now, each and every step we take, no matter how imperfect it may appear to be, we know as a step towards God, and thus a step towards good. Now awaken to our true nature, we see every step along our path, as serving a greater good. Understanding this, what once separated us, will now unite us.
We can in truth only ever be what God Is. We can in truth only be the Love that God Is. We can in truth only be the numerous reflections of that Love, such as those of peace, joy, compassion, mercy and understanding. It is these energies and emotions, our true brothers and sisters, that help guide us back to God. Love is All, thus each step along our path can only, when properly perceived, be in some way, shape or form, a reflection of Love. When we are not seeing a step of ours in this manner, it is because the ego’s past programs are blocking this sacred self-awareness. If we are not seeing our steps through Love’s lens, it is not because we are not wise, spiritual or loving, it is because we have for a moment, fallen asleep to our true nature. There is no need to judge yourself as less than, for having taken a little nap. There is no need to judge anyone for napping. Today, when we nap, we know it is because this will help us wake up refreshed. When we nap, we may dream we are someone other than God created. Do not despair, for it will not be long now before you awaken. Now, let us use the time that in the past we would have judge ourselves, to help us recall, that it is time to awaken. We are awakening because we have recall that we are here to unite with and represent Love. Today, there is no where that we are by chance. Today, every encounter we have is a divine appointment. Be gentle with yourself and with others. Remember that we are all God’s children. We are all on a journey to remember our sacred purpose, essence and nature. Today, understanding the sacred nature of our journey, let us use both the so-called good and bad, to help guide us back to God.
Today, let us allow the states of stress, anger and resentment to help us recognize that we are somewhere we do not belong. The more we practice catching ourselves when we are somewhere we do not belong, the less time we will spend there. Today, let us offer gratitude to stress, anger and resentment for showing us who we are not, and by doing so, guiding us toward who we truly are. Today, let us practice dropping our self-judgments and judgments of others. By doing so, we overcome the ego’s roadblocks, its programming, and thus can now use this life experience for good. How would your life begin to shift if everything that you once judged yourself and others for, you now simply understood as a useful step along your sacred path? How much less judgment, anger, resentment and pain, would you need to experience and carry? Today, above all else, we trust in our sacred co-creation with God. God is Perfection, thus only creates perfectly. God is Love, thus every step was designed with our best interest in mind. Why would the Father of Love, Peace, Joy, Compassion, Mercy and Grace, ever not have our best interest in mind? He has our best interest in mind, not some days, but every day. Every step along our sacred path He has our best interest in mind. Knowing this, what response other than gratitude, would you have to each step and to everyone along your path? Being all One, what step along our brothers’ or sisters’ paths could ever be anything other than perfect and sacred for them? Understanding this, why would we ever again have any use for being judgmental, stressed out, angry or resentful?
Today, if stress, anger or resentment try to rule over us, let this help us recall that it is we who should be in control of our thoughts. Our thoughts should not be controlling us. We have the final say over the thoughts we think and thus over our experience. Let us be grateful to our life experience for showing us that stress, anger and resentment do not take us to our desired destination — the state of peace. The time that we spend in these states is purely up to us to decide. Having co-created our journeys with God, every step along our path serves a higher purpose. God, being Love, uses every step for our good — to help us grow, heal and awaken. Understanding this, trust, peace and forgiveness take the place of stress, anger and resentment. By doing so, we represent God, Love on Earth.

I have gently followed your posts for at least two years. Without a single doubt in my mind, this post on gently remembering as a means of reaching forgiveness and acceptance is the best advice that I have found so far in my quest to heal my heart and forgive myself AND my ex-husband for the horrendous divorce process after 30+ years of matrimony. I wrote a reminder to remember everything gently and posted it on my bathroom mirror. Thank you for this guidance!
Thank you Teresa for being a member of our community. I’m honored that the message was useful to you on your journey to peace. Let us all remember that what we focus on we will experience, and so if we consciously choose to focus on forgiveness, compassion and understanding, and offer these to ourselves and all our brothers and sisters, then that it what will flow through us and throughout our day. Peace. JBC
This is what I needed to hear. I feel I’ve been judged, or maybe misjudged, by those in my church community, cast out by them…..it’s very hard. This is helping me to realign…..thank you so much
Thank you Beatrice for your comment and for being a member of our community. Your journey is a sacred co-creation with God, when others judge your journey, it is not the truth in them doing so, it is that part of them that remains asleep to the truth in them. Continue to be the love that you were created to be, offer others only this love through its expressions such as forgiveness, understanding and compassion, for that is in truth all you can offer them. Do so, and you will have the Love that God Is, flowing through you and throughout your day. Peace. JBC
This has been especially helpful to me today. Thank you.
Thank you Diane for being open to the message, and for taking the time to add your comment. Peace. JBC
