Daily Inspiration: July 24. The Sacred Nature of Every Moment

Your day’s expression results from how you choose to spend your moments. Your life’s expression results from how you choose to spend your days. You manifest your life’s dreams by increasing those moments during your day that you align with what brings you joy, passion, fulfillment and inner peace. Equally so, you decrease the expression of your dreams by spending moments dedicated to the ego’s programs of judgment, struggle, anxiousness, stress and anger. Yet do not despair, for you can still learn to use even the ego’s programs to help awaken you to what you no longer want to experience nor support. When we understand this, we begin to offer gratitude for the useful nature of each and every moment. A life lived in alignment with gratitude, will help you achieve your dreams. The ego would insist that moments spent supporting thoughts of judgment, struggle, anxiousness, stress and anger, are bad or wasted, but this need not be so. When you understand their useful nature, such thoughts and moments can help you get a clearer picture of what you do not want. This knowledge will help you spend less time in the darkness, and more time in alignment with the light within. Imagine, being able to see even so-called ‘negative’ moments, not through judgment’s eyes, as the ego has trained you to do, but through Love’s eyes? If you did so how much more peace of mind and joy would you experience in your life? Today, remind yourself that God is Love and All and thus uses all for good. Each moment when seen through Love’s eyes can be of use and thus helpful. If you learn to see each moment as helpful then what further need would you have for judging self or other? Judgment is not a part of God’s Love, it is a part of the ego’s mindset. Do ask yourself: “How much true peace of mind and joy has aligning my mind with the ego’s mindset ever offered me? Would it not make sense to now try a different mindset and path, one that more closely aligns you with your true nature and thus with the Mind of God?

How many moments during your day, and days during your life, have you sacrificed to the false idol of judgment? How much pain and suffering have you experience simply because you trusted the ego’s programs more than the Love of God? How many more moments and days of your life are you willing to continue to sacrifice at judgment’s altar? When will you awaken and recall that as God’s creation you have free will, and can thus end your suffering and pain? What would happen if you stopped supporting thoughts that reinforced the emotions of judgment, suffering and pain? Would they not be starved of your time, focus and energy? If they are starved, would they not begin to dissolve from your experience? Imagine, a life where the sacred nature of every moment was valued more than judgment, suffering and pain. What kind of life would you begin to create? What kind of example would you begin to set for others? This life type of life, thanks to free will, is always just a choice away. All we need do is let go of our addiction to judgment, trust God, and know that all is working in our favor, for our good. Now, awakening to the sacred nature of each moment, it is time to consciously dedicate ourselves to energies such as those of forgiveness, gratitude and peace, that will help us achieve the life we want. If you are reading this now, then you are ready to forgive, and begin to end your suffering and pain. Today, let us make a concerted effort to align our thoughts, words, emotions, actions, reactions and interactions, with forgiveness, gratitude and peace. Let us practice doing so, until they become our new reality. Let them start to become the reactions we naturally and consistently bring to every moment that God presents to us. Today, let us consciously make forgiveness, gratitude and peace, our goals for our interactions. As we do so, they slowly become the foundational principles that we now use to communicate with this world.

Today, let us make the concerted effort to value the sacred nature of each moment more than our ego’s desire to use them to judge. Yet still, do not be dismayed if the ego answers first and loudest. It has been working a lifetime to make itself our primary response. It has thus become a sort of first responder. Now, simply practice catching yourself when the ego answers first, then stop it and begin to take back control of your thinking. Remind yourself, the ego’s response is not the one you want. Remind yourself, you really want forgiveness, gratitude and peace. When your choices align you with the love that you in truth are, it is then you will know that it is now truly you, not your ego-self, who is back in control of your thinking, and thus of your life. Today, now back in control of your thinking, offer each moment and all those involved in those moments, forgiveness, compassion and gratitude, so that you may have peace. Little by little you will see that the more you practice trusting God, and align your mind with His, the more peace you will experience. Then, thanks to the peaceful example you set, others will feel safer, more secured and understood, around you. By harboring a setting of peace and understanding, there will be less confusion and conflict in our interactions. The less confusion and conflict there is between us, the less we will perpetuate. This way of achieving the state of peace, is available to us now. All we need do is trust God, and in the sacred and useful nature of each and every moment. Today, let us allow our times supporting the states of forgiveness, gratitude, peace, trust and love, to become signs to us that we are in alignment with the Mind of God, and thus aware of the sacred nature of every moment.

Today, let us become more consciously aware of when we are trusting in the sacred nature of each  moment, or when we are simply unconsciously allowing the ego’s past programs to rule over us.  Feeling forgiving, grateful, peaceful, joyful, loving and trusting in God, are all signs of one who is trusting in each moment’s sacred nature and purpose. Feeling judgmental, frustrated, worried, stressed out, angry, resentful, hateful and fearful, are all signs that the ego’s past programs are in control of our thinking. When we find ourselves being ruled by the ego, let us not judge ourselves nor despair. Instead, let us simply recognize that we are out of alignment with the sacred nature of the plan that we have co-designed with God. Then let us forgive ourselves and others for this misperception. Let us now be grateful that we are self aware enough to see this, and take back control of our own minds, and thus of our own lives.
