Daily Inspiration: June 1. Being Grateful for Both the Darkness and the Light

Today, let us not curse the darkness, as the ego has programmed us do, for the act of cursing is not a natural expression of our eternal loving essence. Instead, let us remember, that because of free will, both the light and the darkness can, when properly perceived, aid our growth, healing and awakening. If they can both aid us, they are both useful, and if they are both useful, then gratitude, not judging them or ourselves, can be our response to them. When you recall that both the darkness and the light, can help move you into a clearer alignment with your Source, and thus into a higher level of consciousness, it is then that you will start offering gratitude for both. Gratitude is actually the appropriate response to the present moment, to the true understanding of both the darkness and the light, and thus when we are not perceiving our situation with gratitude, that is just a symbol that we are still buying into our past programming, as more real than what in the present moment, we are being offered. When we are buying into our past programming as more real than the present moment, we are buying into the ego’s fairy tale as more real than God’s plan. It is when we perceive the ego’s fairy tale as more real than God’s plan, that we buy into and support the idea of darkness, as a place within our hearts and minds, that somehow is separate from The Light, from God Who Is All. We can in truth never be separated from an all-loving God, because God is Love and All. The more we support the negative connotations of darkness as real, as a real part of us, the bigger part of our life these feelings become, and thus the further apart and separated from God, we feel. In reality, when we are in alignment with our true nature, we can never be or feel separated from That Which Is All. That sense of separation is not possible for those who have recalled their true nature, but, it will appear possible, for those who are still buying into the ego’s fairy tale as real.

The less time you spend cursing yourself and others for experiencing the negative connotations of the darkness as real, the more time you will be spending in the Light, the state of peace, in your true home. Peace, joy, compassion, forgiveness, hopefulness and many more expressions of Love, are all symbols of the Light, of God, of your true home. It is when we spend our time, focus and energy, on making the ego’s illusionary darkness, and its symbols such has those of judgment, anger, resentment, fear and hate, seem real, that these emotions then ‘act’ as blocks that obscure our awareness to our own light. Yet, it is also because the darkness itself, is not a real part of our true essence, that little by little, we become repelled by it, and begin to look for a ways out of its grip. And so you see, many times it is by experiencing this darkness long enough, that actually helps us propel ourselves out of it, and back into the light. The darkness, just like the ego itself, are both self-destructive in nature, and thus the more we experience them as real, the more we will see, feel and understand, how truly unlike they are to us, and how little they have to offer us. When you start to see and understand the darkness as simply a tool, that is more quickly helping you recall your true nature, and thus is helping you align with the light, the less negative feelings you will have towards it and yourself, for temporarily buying into the false as real. The less negativity you have towards the darkness, the less negativity you have towards the yourself and others when you are lost, and thus the less effect darkness and its symbols, will have upon your life.

Today, let us offer our gratitude for both the darkness and the light, for they are both gifts, that are in their own ways, helping us recall who we truly are. Let us no longer keep buying into the ego’s mindset that says that if we are experiencing the darkness, that we are somehow not spiritual, good, or worthy enough of God and His mercy, love and grace. No, our so-called feelings of unworthiness, are all but lies of the ego, that we have been programmed to believe as true. Whenever you find yourself in judgment of self or other, and are buying into any of the ego’s symbols of darkness or unworthiness, always stop, and take a moment to remind yourself, that God uses all for good. Yes, God uses both the darkness and the light for good. If God uses them both for good, then no matter how we have been programmed to perceive both, let us see them both as gifts from God to us. Both the darkness and the light help us, in their own ways, to reach a deeper sense of self-awareness and a higher level of consciousness. In the end, no matter how the ego has programmed us to view our experience while it is happening, after all is said and done, will we see how that experience helped us grow, heal, and awaken. If all experiences in the end, help us grow, heal, awaken, develop a greater sense of self-awareness, and a higher level of consciousness, and thus a union and Oneness with our Source, then are not the darkness and the light both part of a process that are helping us realize who we in truth are? If we understood this truth as true, what other response but gratitude, would be appropriate to every moment, and to all those involved in those moments? What else but peace, could living in a constant state of gratitude, thanks to our true understanding of both the ‘darkness’ and the ‘light,’ bring to us?

Today, let us look to no longer curse our seeming darkness and the darkness of others, instead let us use it, to help us practice achieving a greater trust in God, by recalling that Love being All, always uses all for good, to help us grow, heal and awaken to our true nature. Imagine, a life where you no longer put yourself or others down for simply being human and buying into and experiencing the darkness as real. Imagine, starting to see your darkness, as just another way that God uses to help redirect you towards the light. This is, by trusting that God uses all for good, how you will begin to see even the darkness, as just another step on your sacred journey towards the light. You have co-created your sacred journey with God, with Perfection, and Perfection can only create Perfectly. Every step on your journey, and yes even the apparent dark steps, will be use to help you grow, heal and awaken you to your true nature. Every step, along your sacred path, is a gift from God to you, and that one day, when you fully understand it, will become a gift from you to this world. Today, let us see this truth as true, drop our judgments of the so-call darkness, and be at peace.
