If God is Love and All, then All is Love. Anything that is in opposition to All is therefore, in truth, a false concept, not real. Today, let us refer to these false concepts as blocks to our awareness of the presence of Love in our life. Judging self and other, anger, frustration, anxiousness, hate and regret are all energetic representations and manifestations of these blocks. We have, since very young, been programmed by other egos to believe that these false concepts or blocks are real and true. In fact, our first response, because of our programming, is usually one that aligns us with the ego’s mindset. Today, let us not put ourselves or others down for simply ‘acting’ like who we have been programmed to be. Instead, let us learn to recognize when our programmed-self, not our true-self, is in control. The quicker we can catch ourselves being who we are not, the less time we will spend in that foreign state of mind. The less time we spend being who we are not, the more time we will have to recognize who we truly are, our true-self. Our true self, being an extension of Love, naturally reacts in a more peaceful, compassionate and understanding manner. Still, know that even as we work on becoming our true self, the ego will not go quietly into the night. The ego has invested a lot of time programming us to see these blocks as real. Today, as we awaken and mature, let us make a conscious decision to stop playing with the ego’s Lego Blocks. Now, when we see these blocks starting to pop up, let us recall that they do not represent the truth in us, and then put them away. It is when we are able to see and understand the illusionary nature of these blocks, that their power over us begins to fade away. Today, let us thank all those who, in one form or another, have helped us through their participation in our lives, see and understand the blocks that seem to stand between us and our eternal loving nature.
We have been programmed by the ego to be who we are not. We are not the blocks of judgment, anger, frustration, anxiousness, hate and regret that we see. Yes, we are using them for a time, but only to help us realize who we are not. This understanding will then open us to who we truly are. Many times, in this world of duality, learning who we are not is a useful step that helps us figure out who we are. If learning who we are not gives us a clearer picture of who we truly are, then is that process not a gift that we are being offered? Understanding this, let us without judgment, continue to play the ego’s game of condemnation, anger and hate until we are able to recognize the useless nature of such behaviors. It is by doing so, that we will become more open to letting go of who we are not, and thus returning to being who in truth we are. As our own self-awareness matures, we come to a place of peace in regard to the manner of our path, its curves and challenges. With the gift of time, we will see that it was every step along our way, that together helped us arrive to this place of greater peace and understanding. From this place of greater peace and understanding, we consciously choose to display aspects of our true nature, instead of our programmed self. It is for that reason that God has no need to judge your journey. The Divine understands that every step you take, no matter how dark and unloving at the time it may appear to be, is in reality, just another step on your journey back Home to Him. Today, let us see every step, both the so-called good and bad ones, as equally of use in helping us learn how to align with our Creator. As we do so, we will begin to see with peace and gratitude, everything and everyone that we once judged and condemned.
Today, let us come to a place of peace by understanding that every step along our path is helping us become more aware of who we are, and who we are not. By seeing our journey in this manner, those steps, and everyone involved in those steps, become beings that we no longer have a need to judge. Now, we appreciate their efforts, and see them as a blessing to us, and not a curse. There are many ways we use our life experience to become more self-aware, and yes some of them are not so comfortable, easy or nice. Yet, if greater self-awareness results from experiencing them, should we not be grateful for them? If everything and everyone is helpful, then why waste our time judging anything or anybody? Today, let us offer everything and everyone gratitude, not judgment, for helping us become more self-aware. Today, let us acknowledge that we have played with the ego’s Lego blocks long enough, and that the ego’s game is now getting old. Now, that we are finished playing with the ego’s blocks, it is time to start putting them away. As we put them away, our internal room, our mind, begins to look and feel cleaner and much less chaotic. A cleaner and less chaotic room helps us more easily navigate around our room and world. Now, the room is as it was before we started playing with the ego’s blocks. We are now back aligned with our eternal loving essence, with who in truth we are, have always been, and will forever be. Still, do not despair if these blocks every now and then seem to pop up. Simply recall that they are not the truth in us. Let us forgive them and ourselves for thinking them as real. Then let us align with our loving nature, and share with the other kids in the playground, only the love that in truth we are.
Today, let us practice recognizing the symbols of the blocks to our awareness of Love’s presence. Any thought, word, emotion or action that seems to be in opposition to our loving nature acts as a block that obscures our awareness to our light. When our light is blocked, when we become unaware of our light, we begin to believe that we are the darkness. Being aligned with the darkness is not something to judge and condemn yourself or another for. The darkness is simply a symbol of a lack of self-awareness, of a mind that is asleep to its true nature. We need not judge those who sleep or are unaware. We simply need to help them begin to awaken to the love that they truly are. Today, through our example, by representing only the light in us, let us help others awaken and become who they came here to be. Let us practice catching ourselves quicker and quicker when we find ourselves representing the darkness. Then let us stop investing our time, focus and energy on this illusionary losing proposition. Let us forgive our misperceptions. Then let us make the conscious choice to return to representing only the Light in us. The more we practice doing so, the less time we will spend in the darkness. The less time we spend in the darkness, the more time we will spend representing and sharing our light, our loving nature.
