Today, let us ask ourselves, do we truly desire a more compassionate and loving world? If so, then let this world begin within us. Today, we dedicate this day to pray for anyone who we are withholding our forgiveness, compassion and love from. Let us remember, that we are all One, and thus the expressions that we are withholding from others, are the experiences that we are withholding from ourselves. When we bless those that curse us, we will experience our blessings of others, healing and soothing our own bodies and souls. When we curse those that curse us, we are only cursing ourselves by experiencing the darkness and corruption of our own thoughts and actions. Today, let us rediscover what a gift and blessing it is to be able to, through free will, free ourselves from the ego’s delusions, by making the conscious choice to forgive and show compassion and love towards those the ego demands we condemn and hate. These opportunities, that are being presented to us by others, that are helping us reverse our programming and heal our minds, are they not a gift that others are offering us? Are they not, in their own ways, setting the table for us? Are they not offering us, through their participation in our life, the opportunities to become a more forgiving, compassionate and loving being? Are people who help us become more forgiving, compassionate and loving, are they not worthy of our gratitude? As each one of us comes to this realization, that our brothers and sisters are, after all is said and done, simply helping us awaken to who in truth we are, and by doing so, helping us create a more forgiving, compassionate and loving world that our own children will benefit from, are these beings not worthy of our gratitude instead of judgment?
Today, let us make the conscious choice to shut off the ego’s internal dialogue, that tells us that we are right and that they are wrong, and that the wrong must be punished. Let us shut off that dialogue that has produced nothing but confusion, hurt, suffering and pain. Today, let us say to that dialogue: ”Enough is Enough, I will no longer accept myself valuing anger more than forgiveness, condemnation more than compassion, and hate more than love.” Let us remember today, that we have been gifted free will, and that no matter how judgmental the ego demands that we be towards others, that it is us, not the ego, who must decide how to treat another. Thankfully, the freedom to free ourselves from the ego’s programming, resides forever within us, and not in the outside world. The freedom to free ourselves, does not reside in other people, situations or circumstances, it resides within us and us alone. It is in the end, always within us, where a more forgiving, compassionate and loving world must be birth from. It is always we, who hold the key, that lights up or darkens the path of those still wondering around, lost in the ego’s maze. Today, to those who curse us, let us no longer sink with them into the ego’s swamp, instead let us raise ourselves above the idea of the swamp, and show them that there indeed is a more grounded, real, loving and compassionate, way of co-existing with each other. We are, after all is said and done, God’s children. Sure, some may have temporarily forgotten their true nature, but it is up to us, those who have remembered, or are in the process of remembering, to be the way showers, to remind others, through our example, of who we all can be.
Today, let us pay very close attention to the thoughts, words, actions and interactions, that are not moving us and this world, to a more compassionate and loving place. Today, let us silently but wholeheartedly, from the deepest parts of our hearts and souls, pray for and ask God to help all those that we are withholding our forgiveness, compassion and love from. Let us ask God to heal them, let us pray for their highest good, peace of mind and joy, let us pray that we are able to see them through God’s eyes, to value them with God’s heart, and to bless them with His mercy. What a gift it is, to practice praying for and blessing, those that the ego has taught us to curse. Today, each and every time that the ego demands we judge and condemn ourselves or others, let us instead use these situations as opportunities, to recall that our goal for today is to be more compassionate and loving. It is by offering our brothers and sisters love and compassion, when the ego demands judgment and anger, that we will begin to recall and reinforce, who in truth we are. The more we get to practice remembering, that we, as God’s creations, are love and compassion, the easier and more natural this way of thinking and being will become. Let us continue doing this until one day, thanks to them offering us so many opportunities to practice, this way of thinking will then become, our natural response, to all of God’s creations. Imagine that day, a day when love and compassion becomes your response to all of God’s creations. What kind of world would we begin to create for our children, if we but simply made the conscious choice, in each moment, to treat each other, just as we would want to be treated? Today, let us stop waiting for such a world to physically manifest itself into our experience, and instead let us, begin to consciously create, such a world.
Today, let us stop waiting for the world that we desire to experience to simply manifest, and instead, through our thoughts, words, actions, and interactions with each other, begin to create such a sacred place. Today, let us consciously become the physical reflections and representatives of compassion and love. Today, before any interaction let us remind ourselves: “My primary goal in this interaction, is to be a representative of compassion and love.” By placing the goal at the beginning of any interaction, the interaction then becomes a means to achieve your goal. Let us also remember, to be grateful to those in our life, who through our interactions with them, are offering us, the opportunities to practice remembering, who we truly are, and what kind of world we desire to create, live in and experience.
