Daily Inspiration: November 12. Self Worth: Focused on Appreciation instead of Condemnation

Today, let us practice making a concerted effort to focus on what we can appreciate in ourselves and others, instead of searching for what we can judge and condemn. The more we practice this way of being, the more natural and normal this way of thinking will become. Today, if we find ourselves being pulled towards the ego’s judgmental mindset, let us not put ourselves or others down for this, instead let us use such a situation as an opportunity, to practice consciously disengaging from such a mindset. When we start to see the ego as an ally instead of an adversary, we use its tools and mindset, not to further judge or condemn, but to trigger in us a call to awaken, reverse the thinking of the ego’s world, and offer appreciation for everyone and all. When we show appreciation to everyone and all, we are in essence thanking our Creator and acknowledging that He loves and cares for us. This mindset helps grow and reinforce our sense of self-worth, that we are worthy of God and His Love. This sense of self-worth begins to then expand to the understanding that because we are all One, that we are all equally worthy of God’s Love. This understanding makes us want to be and act as God is, which then further expands our sense of Oneness, that we are all equally worthy. Because we are all One, all others are in essence parts of you, thus when you love and respect others, you are in essence loving and respecting more parts of you. Now, where judgment, anger, pain and suffering, once stood, now compassion, appreciation, peace and understanding, begin to take their place. What the ego’s world once used to put us down, now we use to lift us up. When we, through our example, show others that no matter what they say or do, that they are forever worthy of God’s Love, we help birth in them a sense of hope, and by doing so bring light to where once only darkness reigned.

We have been programmed to look at others through the prism of the ego’s judgment-centered mindset, and thus to see them as unworthy. This is all done to serve the ego, to fuel it through our judgments, to try to separate us from each other and thus from God. What the ego tries to hide from us is Oneness, for if we indeed saw ourselves as One, judging others as unworthy would in essence just be judging yourself as unworthy, and what sense would that make? Because we are all One, when we through our judgments, think of others as less than, we will create an internal sense of a lack of self-worth. When we acknowledge that we all have unique missions on this planet, we begin to see the gifts that each one of us has to offer, and thus our sense of self-worth increase. Today, let us no longer allow the ego’s programs to dictate the way we look at others. Instead, let us recall who in truth we are, God’s creation, all forever worthy of His gifts. If God sees all His creations as forever worthy, why would we ever want to try to think unlike God? Today, if we find ourselves in the ego judgment-filled pit, let us use this self-awareness, to desire only to want to once again align with the Mind of God, and see all others as worthy. By doing so we will lift ourselves out of the darkness, and become symbols of the awaken self, of the light. Remember, that you as God’s creation, are forever worthy of the world you want. Think of yourself as unworthy, and that is the world that you will create, value, look upon, experience and share. Think of yourself as worthy, and you will open yourself up to seeing and experiencing all of God’s gifts, your true inheritance. You have been gifted free will, today use it to begin to think of and create, the world you want, and that as God’s child, the world that you are forever worthy of.

Today, let us practice shifting our focus from thoughts of lack and condemnation, to thoughts of self-worth and appreciation. Appreciation is an expression of Love who is our Creator, and so when we practice aligning with the mindset of gratitude, we will begin to see and feel how natural and right this state of mind feels. The more right and natural it feels, the more worthy you will think yourself to be of it. A person’s true worth is inherent, changeless in its eternal nature, and thus neither we nor anyone else, can add to it, nor subtract from it. We cannot change what God created changeless. A person’s may, through free will, choose to showcase or hide their worth, yet that does not make their worth any more or less perfect, changeless and eternal. No one should need to prove their worth to you, nor should you need to prove your worth to others; as a gift from God, no one ever needs justify their worth, even to themselves, and especially not to God. Today, when the ego tries to have us condemn ourselves, let us practice reclaiming our worth by saying to ourselves: “Thank you God for creating me. As Your creation, my worth is perfect, gifted to me by You in my creation, unchanged by time, and unadulterated by the ego’s deceptions, fairy tales and lies. We are all One; today I end all condemnations of ‘others,’ and by doing so begin, through appreciation, healing my Whole-Self. I now choose to remember that neither I, nor anyone else, can ever add to nor take away from, what You have gifted me, my perfect worth. Today, I acknowledge, that being all One, anything that is given to one, is given to all. For me to truly see and conceptualize the nature of my all-encompassing worth, I must be willing to see this truth reflecting from all my brothers and sisters, all aspects and parts of, my Whole-Self.”

Today, when anyone challenges your worth in any way, remember that they cannot change nor diminish what God created perfect and whole. You are forever God’s perfect creation, and because we are all One, so too are they. Today, offer all others appreciation, not condemnation, for helping you recall, practice and reinforce the nature of your perfect worth. The more you practice reinforcing the understanding and nature of your perfect worth, the more natural this way of thinking, feeling and being will become. The more you see yourself as worthy, the more this belief will overflow and radiate from you and unto all you see and interact with. The more you see and acknowledge others as worthy,  because we are all One, the more aspects of yourself you will be seeing and reinforcing as worthy. By doing so, the better understanding and appreciation you will have of your Whole-Self. The greater your understanding of your Whole-Self is, the more you will appreciate it, and the less need you will have to judge or condemn it.
