Daily Inspiration: November 28. From “Why Me” to “Thank You.” Gratitude in Tough Times

Motivating Videos to Help People become Enlightened   video of James reading with commentary

Love is God’s inheritance. As His children, his inheritance is ours to have, experience, enjoy and share. Still, we must first accept our inheritance to make it fully ours. When we don’t appreciate the journey and growth process we have co-designed with the Divine, we are resisting our inheritance. Withholding love from self or others is a clear sign that we are stuck in the ego’s mindset of separation and unworthiness. It is in such a mindset where you are programmed to believe there is an opposite to God’s Love. It is within this darkened mindset, seemingly apart from the Light, where false concepts like judgment and anxiety take hold. Dredge the darkness as long as you think you must. Your true essence is the Light and thus there is nothing within the darkness that will ever fulfill you. Do not despair, you are not stuck in eternal damnation.

Once we realize that the darkness has nothing of real value to offer us, we will start to let it go. This motivates us to search for the Light in us. Today, let us choose to no longer put ourself or others down for the darkness. Instead, let us use it to practice uniting with the Light. In doing so, we will get a clearer picture of our sacred purpose and place in God’s plan. At one with God’s plan, even judgment and anxiety serve a sacred and higher purpose. Understanding this, today let us be grateful, not judgmental, of our journey’s path. We have come here to overcome the false concepts, forgive and heal. Then we are to use our life experience to help others do the same. Today, let us learn to use even the “bad” for good. Let us trust God, instead of living in doubt and fear. Let us rejoice that we have been gifted the free will to undo what we have been programmed by the ego to see as true.

In this time of Thanksgiving let us practice being grateful to all those parts of us we have been programmed to judge. Feeling anxious is not a sign that you are not strong, spiritual, wise, worthy or good enough. We are taught by the ego to punish ourselves for feeling bad, for feeling just like the ego has taught us we should feel. The ego being illusionary in nature is always trying to convince us that the opposite of Truth is real. It is exactly in those areas of our lives, in those dark corners within our minds where our light needs to focus on and shine. Our light shines into those dark corners when we start being forgiving, loving, trusting in God and grateful. There is a special and sacred part that each one of us is here to play. By understanding the usefulness of every step along our path we heal that previous misperception. Then we become self-aware enough to teach others how to heal their own suffering and pain. The less suffering and pain there is in this world the less that judgment and anxiety will rule over us. Today note this sacred circle, misperception, forgiveness, understanding, healing and helping others heal. This circle exist throughout our experiences in this world. When we see this our past judgments and fears begin to fade away. Again let us recall that being judgmental or anxious does not mean that we are bad or not spiritual. It is simply being presented to us as an opportunity to heal our own misperceptions. We are always with the perfect person and in the perfect place for our greatest growth, healing and awakening. This recognition will bring about a sense of gratitude and peace.

Today, let us no longer view self-judgment and anxiety through the ego’s lens. Instead, let us use the merciful and graceful vision of God to see them as sacred steps along our sacred way. When we view the world through Love’s lens, everything is useful, helpful and healing. When we view the world through Love’s lens, gratitude and peace become our natural responses to everyone and all. When we view self-judgment and anxiety through Love’s lens, they become our aides and not our adversaries. They now help guide us out of the state of confusion to one of clarity. We go from self-judgment to forgiveness and from anxiety to peace. Understanding this, let us make appreciation our constant companion. Is it not a gift to be able to recognize no matter what you are going through that such a moment is here to help you grow, heal and awaken? Would you not be grateful to those people who were a part of such a process? Are they not in there own ways helping you understand and overcome the illusionary nature of your darkness and despair. Would you not be appreciative of those who helped you awaken from your sleep? Self-judgment and anxiety are simply helping us better understand the illusionary nature of false concepts we still belief as true. Now we no longer need support what is not true. Thanks to this understanding and self-awareness let us now help others recall that they too can let go of their delusions. Now thanks to free will we can return to viewing this world through Love’s lens. Now what once bound us to the ego’s fear based mindset can set us forever free. Now were we were once blind now we can truly see.

Today, if self-judgment or anxiety pop into your mind, do not judge or put yourself or others down. Instead, thank the thoughts for visiting. Share with them that you will no longer be entertaining them. You will not be sacrificing any more of your time, focus and energy on them. Let them go, knowing that every thought you have is used by God for good — to help you and those around you grow, heal and awaken. If everything is used by God for good, what need would you ever again have to judge yourself and others, or to be anxious? If all is used by God for good, wouldn’t the proper response to everything and everyone be gratitude and peace? Today accept this truth as true and watch judgment and anxiety dissolve before your light and understanding.

All glory to God.

Peace, Health, Happiness, Love, Laughter, and Light.
