We cannot continue to consciously or unconsciously punish ourselves or others, and then wonder why we have not achieved the state of peace. If we desire peace, we cannot have a brother or sister who is in pain and suffering, give them more pain and suffering, and expect anything other from them than adding more pain and suffering to this world. Those who are in pain and suffering, lack healing and compassion. Those who lack healing and compassion, need healing and compassion, not a deferment of them. We do not have to look far into our past, or deep into our hearts, in order to see that this punitive way of thinking and behaving is not working for us. This way of thinking and mindset is not bringing us greater levels of peace of mind, love and joy, into our lives. When here in the USA we have 5% of the world’s population and 25% of its prisoners, this is telling us that we must first heal our own back yard before trying to be an example of peace and compassion to this world. The way we can begin to heal this pain, is not somewhere out there, it is within our own hearts and minds. The more peaceful, loving and forgiving, thoughts and words we as Americans begin supporting in our own minds, hearts, families and lives, the more this peaceful, loving and forgiving mindset will manifest into the physical form. This will manifest in the forms of our laws, and our correctional, legal and political systems. It is in our hands to undo what we ourselves have done. Rejoice that the power resides within us, and that we can begin to lay the groundwork for this much needed change by making the conscious effort, each and every day, to allow our loving essence to lead us. Let us make the conscious decision in every interaction that we have with another, to begin to align our thoughts, words and actions, with who in truth we are, the love that God created us to be.
We are all One, today when we look upon those who are in pain and suffering, or are putting this world through pain and suffering, and find that we do not have the love within us to offer them, let us take the love we have for those we do love, and offer that love to them. Remembering that we are all One, we can indeed borrow the feeling of love we have for others, and let that love open the door to loving those that our ego refuses to love. With this borrowed love, let it lead the way and guide us to becoming more forgiving and compassionate towards those who the ego says don’t deserve our forgiveness and compassion. Do so, each and every time the ego demands you judge and condemn others, and you will begin to see how natural and right forgiveness and compassion feel to your heart and mind. Each and every time the ego’s judgments come knocking at our mind’s door, we now simply use the feeling of love we have for those that we do love, and offer this feeling of love to those we are having a hard time loving. At first, this may on the surface appear to be a symbolic gesture, yet the more you practice yourself feeling love for all, the more your mindset will shift to a higher vibrational frequency. The higher your frequency, the more loving you become, the more you will understand that this is who in truth you are. The more you feel and experience this alignment with your truest highest self, the more natural and honest these healing, compassionate and loving thoughts, words and actions will be. The more natural this way of feeling and thinking of others becomes, the more in alignment with God you will be. This alignment with our All-Loving Source will bring you into alignment with the loving states of peace and joy.
Today, let us remember, that we do have free will, that we do not have to continue to be manipulated by the ego’s past programming. We do not need to punish others simply because we have been programmed to believe that punishment is the appropriate response to certain of our brother’s or sister’s actions. Today, let us remember that we are all One, and so there is nothing that we think of, or offer others, that doesn’t first reverberate through us. It is we ourselves who must begin to take personal responsibility for the thoughts we think, and understand that our thoughts are either poisoning or healing us. Those who punish others will inevitably have to carry the heavy burden of judgment and guilt. As God’s creation, you are forever worthy of peace and joy, but peace and joy cannot be truly experienced as long as you are valuing punishment, judgment and guilt more. Offer peace and joy to others, and it will be peace and joy that you’ll have flowing through you and throughout your day. Today, let us make the conscious decision to offer healing, compassion and love, to those the ego insist are only worthy of being judged and punished. Always remember that you have free will, that you can override the ego’s judgment centered programming any time you so desire. As we start taking back control from the ego’s mindset, because we are all One, we will start to notice how our offerings of healing, compassion and love, blesses and restores those brothers and sisters who have been in pain and suffering. These loving actions, being who in truth we are, will begin to more closely and consciously united us with our Creator. Aligned with our Creator, safe in His Loving arms, we are embrace by Love and all of His expressions, all of the peace, joy, compassion, mercy and grace, of God.
Today, when ever you find the ego trying to take over your mind by having you judge and punish another, remember that we are all One, and thus that you are either poisoning or healing yourself, with every thought you think. Today, when you find the ego trying to poison you, stop your thoughts right there and then. Then shift your thinking to align with your loving nature, to thoughts that will help heal you heart and bring peace to your mind. Offer your brother or sister the opposite of what the ego is demanding. If the ego demands judgment, offer forgiveness instead. If the ego demands you judge and punish another, offer them instead your blessing and pray wholeheartedly for their peace of mind, healing and awakening. Do so and notice how it is always what you offer others, that you yourself will experience flowing through you and throughout your day.
