Daily Inspiration: October 20. Negative Thinking Shows Us Where We Desire Not To Go

When it feels like you are stuck in a negative mindset, do not judge yourself or despair. Instead, simply recognize what you are truly being offered. You are being offered the opportunity to see the thoughts you are holding onto that are not in alignment with the life you want. Viewed in this manner, a seeming curse can become a blessing and thus a great opportunity for growth and healing. If there was someone traveling with you, telling you which roads are not good to take, wouldn’t you be grateful to them? Aren’t they saving you a lot of time, confusion and stress by sharing which roads are not of use? Today, let us be grateful, not judgmental, when our life experiences and those who are a part of them are showing us what roads we no longer need to take. Once clear about what roads you no longer need take you will also be getting a clearer picture and path to your true destination. Your true destination is a conscious union with God. You are here to represent Love on Earth. Love’s roads are the ones you are searching for and desire to travel. The clearer we become about what roads do not lead us to love the less time we need to waste traveling them. Both the roads to Love and the understanding of the roads that do not lead you to Love will assist you in reaching your destination. They both not helpful. If they are both helpful should gratitude to them no t be the proper response? Today, let us be aware of the roads, the thoughts, words, actions, reactions and interactions that are and are not moving us in Love’s direction. The understanding of the useful nature of all our experiences will bring us peace and gratitude. Our path to our destination then becomes a smoother and more enjoyable one.

The ego would have you judge yourself and others for having traveled so-called unproductive roads. It would make you feel bad, not spiritual or good enough for wasting your time on such paths. But what has judging yourself or others as less than or not good enough ever done for you? Today, instead of judging ourselves, we learn to use these so-called “wrong” paths or decisions as directional devices. Now they become a sort of GPS for the growing soul. This more productive use of our “wrong” decisions will now help us spend less time sacrificing our efforts at judgment’s altar. In doing so, we spend more time being appreciative of our growth. Today, turn so-call errors, mistakes or sins, into lessons learned, wisdom and blessings. Find the good in the so-called bad and behold the bad turn into something  good. This is how we go from a place of pain to a palace of peace. Now those times we had been programmed to curse others and ourselves can be seen as gifts from God to us. Now they are all simply steps on your sacred journey. God is Love and All and so all steps on our journey will be use to help us recall and become who we came here to be. Even learning who you are not helps you better understand who you truly are. Many times in this physical experience we need to travel to certain places within our hearts and minds  that are not our true destination. This process clear the path to truth. Today, let us practice trusting fully in the sacred journey that we have co-created with God. It will be by doing so that we will be able to forgive and let go of all our judgments of the sacred manner in which we all choose to grow, heal and awaken.

Today, we confirm the sacred nature of each step along our path. Now without judgment and in fact with gratitude we begin to cross certain roads of our maps. As we cross off what we now know we no longer desire we get a clearer picture of what we truly want. Our true destination is here to help us build a mindset that says that every step along our path is of use. Being useful it is good. Being good it is something or someone who we should be grateful for. Imagine a life where you are grateful for all your experiences. Grateful for all those people who were and are presented to you along the way. This understanding unifies us with the Mind of God. Love and its roads such as those of peace, compassion, forgiveness, passion and joy are what gets us there. All these roads are energetic expressions and representations of the truth within us. This is why when we are on them they just feel right. It is the roads that lead us to this conscious union with Source that help us represent Love on Earth. This light we then share with those who are still lost following the ego’s roadmap. We, those who are awakening or have awaken no longer need to waste our precious time judging our or anyone else’s journey. Now we know we are on the “right” roads when we will feel in alignment with our loving nature. When we are “not” on the right roads we will now simply feel and recognize how unlike they are to us. Now, there is no longer a need to judge the right road as good or the wrong roads as bad. Now at One with the Mind of God we see all roads as useful and thus helpful. Now our past judgments towards these “wrong” roads turns to gratitude. Now we know them as our allies and not our adversaries.

Today, our negative thoughts simply show us what mindset we no longer want to support. In doing so, such thoughts become our allies and not our adversaries. If something is helpful then it is useful. If something is useful then let us be grateful for it. In aligning with this understanding, we begin to see the perfect nature of the sacred journey we have co-designed with the Divine. In this journey, God uses all for good. Every step helps us reach a deeper level of self-awareness. Imagine a life were you no longer judge or curse your brothers or sisters. Imagine a life where you are grateful for each and every person God sends your way. Would such a life not be filled with appreciation, peace of mind and joy? Such a life, thanks to God’s gift of free will, is now for you just simply a choice away.

Wow…so appreciative of these daily readings. Ive hurt two people I care about from judging and over the past few days, Ive been trying to write a letter of apology to each one. Not an easy task.My letter starts of well then heads back to judging. I haven’t completed one yet. Reading this article has touched on showing me a different approach. I feel self-forgiveness is/could be a key here. Im not sure if this makes sense. Thank you for sharing with us, a different view. Most grateful!

Thank you Ngaire for being open to the message and for being a member of our community.

Let us, no longer worship, the false idol of judgment. Let us no longer waste any more of our time, focus, energy or life, at judgment’s altar.

Let us today look deep into the mirror and say to ourselves:
“Enough is enough. I will no longer allow a judgmental thought about any of God’s creations to pollute and poison my mind and life! Now, every time that a thought of judgment dares to try to enter my mind, I stop it right there and then, I do not let it in, instead I offer forgiveness to everyone involved including myself. Why? Because I, and all of us, are God’s children, worthy of His forgiveness, love and peace. Why? Because I am now making the conscious choice, to think only as God thinks, only through the Mind of Love, and choose to now love all those who God present to me on the sacred journey that I have co-created with the Divine. Today, I forgive myself and all others, because we are all God’s children, all Love’s creations, all here to help remind each other, that a Heaven on Earth we can begin to create, each and every day, through the thoughts we think and choices we make. Thank you God. Amen”

All glory to God.

So much gratitude for these daily thoughts u provide. Even those that seem to teach the same are worded differently and cause more hidden thoughts of guilt and non forgiveness to surface including things I thought I had dealt with. Your words assist greatly with learning to transfer the meaning to other situations. It has been several months since I finished the first read of your book – I have had new experiences including reads of other books and ideas based on ACIM – and it is always so wondrous to experience deeper meanings and different understandings as I read or watch already read material again – sometimes even seeming to be for the frst time. Thank you and lovings to you. Louisa

Thank you Louisa for your thoughtful comment.

You are loved, you are innocent, you are worthy of peace and joy, your journey is sacred, and we are all One, that is all we must really know.

In reality because God is Love and All, every situation, moment and interaction is here to help us grow, heal and awaken. When we recall this the state of peace results. When we are in alignment with the state of peace we become a beacon of peace for others and for this world.

All glory to God.

Thank you for this…I watch and listen everyday despite all the pop ups that make it hard . Sometimes I have problems with remembrance of things I did wrong and live with tortured thoughts…and despair but maybe hat is ego and the only way through is forgiveness….

Thank you Nancy for being a member of our community.

When tortured or despair thoughts come into your mind, don’t put yourself down for that, instead see is as a call from God to you asking you to practice focusing more on loving and forgiving thoughts.

The more opportunities you get to practice choosing forgiving thoughts over judgmental thoughts the easier and more natural and normal forgiveness will become to you.

Today, when you are dealing with judgmental thoughts, thank them, for in reality they are simply offering you another opportunity to practice forgiveness, and thus come closer to living in alignment with the state of peace.

Peace. JBC
