Daily Inspiration: September 13. Frustration and Worry
If God is Love, and God is All, and peace is an expression of Love, then frustration and worry which basically place themselves in opposition to peace, Love, All, can only be experienced if, we’re misperceiving reality. When peace, which is an expression of Love, is remembered as All, then every situation, regardless of how we have been programmed to see and react to them, is in actuality an opportunity to practice being an example of peace or recalling how we can achieve the state of peace. As we recall that we are indeed One with Love, our sense of safety, comfort, and trust increases, in doing so frustration and worry decrease, and thus the state of peace results. And so, when properly perceived, every situation is offering us this opportunity, to align with and experience the state of peace, or to practice realizing that we are indeed worthy of peace. Thus, if we are not at peace, we are not really seeing what is truly going on. We are not at peace, not because the possibility of peace is not available to us in that moment or with that person, but because we have been programmed by the ego to place our focus elsewhere, away from peace, away from what we truly seek. This does not make you an unwise or less spiritual person, it simply is showing you the areas in your life where you have bought into an untruth about yourself as true. Once you see and understand this misperception, it is then that you can begin to dismantle it, correct it, and become an example to others of what the loving focused mindset looks like, like the state of peace. Let us today, not despair when we are feeling worried or frustrated, instead let us see this as an opportunity, a call to action from the Universe, to let go of a mindset that is not supporting our growth and healing, and instead is helping us practice increasing our levels of trust in our Creator, and in His plan for the Universe. Today, let us simply see frustration and worry, not as us being deficient, but as simply a symbol of our lack of a complete trust in our Creator.
It is not difficult to misperceive reality, when you have since birth, been programmed to see the fairy tale as real. When over and over and over again you see modeled before you, behaviors that say that frustration and worry are real and natural responses in the human condition, then obviously it will become hard for you to believe otherwise. But, no matter how real the ego makes us believe that its fairy tales are, we can only walk through its dark tunnel for so long, before we start to question the logic and usefulness of its advice and mindset. In this dark tunnel, we all become frustrated and worried over and over again, punish ourselves and others through our own thoughts over and over again, until one day we start getting sick and tired of the ego’s results, and begin looking for a better, more gentle and loving way, for basically the light at the end of the tunnel. As we continue to defy the ego for this better, more gentle, and loving way, we start to notice how natural this ‘other’ way of thinking and being actually feels, and the more natural it feels, the more worthy we feel of it. The more we practice overriding the ego’s mindset, and letting go of the false concepts of frustration and worry, and instead place our trust in God, the sooner we will start to experience greater and greater amounts of peace in our lives. It will be these small victories over the illusionary mindset, these consistent reinforcements that we are worthy of peace, that will show us, as God’s creations, that we are worthy of God’s Love, and that peace is just one of the many expressions that we are worthy of. The more we trust in God’s mindset, the less use we have for the ego’s mindset, and thus slowly but surely the ego’s mindset will begin to dissolve away before our light and understanding.
Today, let us practice remembering that frustration and worry are both simply symptoms of a lack of trust in God’s plan. In every moment there is a choice to be made, between trusting in God’s plan, which is also and equally your highest will’s plan for your life, or trusting in your ego’s plan for your life. When you trust in God’s plan, the state of peace results. When you are frustrated and worried, know these to be symbols of one who is trusting in the ego’s plan for their life. God’s plan for us, and our highest will for ourselves, are One. Today, our goal is to simply do this: Trust in God’s plan and by doing so, achieve and conscious align with, the state of peace. The more we trust in God’s plan, the more peace we will experience. Equally so, the more we trust in the ego’s plan, the more frustration and worry we will experience. Our level of peace, frustration, and worry, therefore is not a result of what is occurring in the outer world, but a result of whose plan we are choosing to trust. Today, when frustration and worry come once again knocking on your mind’s door, use such moments, not to put yourself and others down as the ego would have you do, instead use them to practice remembering and reinforcing the truth, that your highest will and God’s will are One, and that God is Perfect, thus His plan for us must be perfect. Practice trusting God more fully, and reconnecting with the sense of peace that is your true nature and inheritance. Then, let us become examples and representatives of the state of peace, to those still mired in the fairy tales of frustration and worry, so that they too can remember that the opportunities for hope, help, healing, and peace, are always just a simple choice away.
Today, whenever frustration and worry come knocking at our mind’s door, let us see this not as a time to judge ourselves or others for not being spiritual enough, instead let us use it as a call to action, from the Universe, asking and inviting us to trust God more. Today, we no longer, with our time, focus and energy, feed the fire of frustration and worry. By not fueling it, we rob it of its fuel source, which is us and our thoughts. Then we place that time same time, focus and energy, on developing a greater trust in God and His plan for our life. We remind ourselves that God is both Love and our Father, and that God being All, only and always has our best interest in mind. The more we truly place our trust in God, the more peace we will experience. The more peace we experience, the less worry and frustration we will feel, until one day those energies become but a distant memory of a time long long ago, when we once thought fairy tales were true.
