Today, let us recall that it is our thoughts that birth the world we end up experiencing. Every thought you have makes up a small part of the world you see. The more you support a thought with your time, focus and energy, the greater part of your world it becomes. Understanding this, there is no point in blaming the outer world for its expressions. The world’s expressions are only your projection or extension. The ways you see, define and interact with the world, is simply the result of the thoughts you think and support. Therefore, if we desire to change our world we must start by first changing the thoughts we think and support. When we do, the world itself will begin to reflect our new internal dialogue. For example, if you desire to experience more peace in your life, then the more peaceful thoughts you support with your time, focus and energy, the more at peace you will be with yourself, others and this world. Equally so, the more you support thoughts that are fear based, judgmental and angry, the less at peace you will be with yourself, others and this world. And so you see, if you desire more peace it is not first the outer world that you should focus on, but your inner world, your mind and its thoughts. When we change the cause, the thoughts we think, we change the effect, the world we experience. Imagine, understanding that the power to change the way you see and interact with this world resides not somewhere ‘out there,’ but within your own mind. It is you who has the power to begin designing the world that you would like to experience. It is you who has the power to surround yourself in light filled thoughts, and thus offer those who have bought into this world’s darkness, through your example, a way out of it.
If you are experiencing and reacting to an angry and chaotic world, it is because the thoughts you are supporting are supporting it. If you instead begin to support and value forgiveness and compassion, more than judgment and anger, then the world outside of you will begin to soften. When you support the thoughts of forgiveness and compassion, both being expressions of Love, they align you with the Mind of your loving Creator. The more you practice aligning with your Creator, the more natural and normal it will feel to be in alignment with that mindset. Choosing forgiveness and compassion over judgment and anger, will strengthen your relationship to forgiveness and compassion, and weaken your relationship to judgment and anger. In this case you will strengthen your perception of a world that is worthy of forgiveness and peace. Equally so, you will weaken your concept of a world that is, in the ego’s view, worthy of punishment and pain. One of the truths that the ego tries to hide from you is that you can only offer this world what is within you. The quality of the light you see in others is simply the reflection of the quality of the light that resides within you. Another truth the ego tries to hide from you is that your light is perfect and shines forever bright, and thus the only thing that can seem to dim it is when you withhold it from others. Yet, even when experiencing the darkness, do not despair, for it is not your true Home. Your true Home is forever lit by the Love that God is. Forgiveness and compassion being expressions of Love are what you will sooner or later find as a better, more loving and self loving choice than judgment and anger. Everyone and every situation is, in the end, only here to help you heal, awaken, align with your Creator and find peace. The sooner you realize this, the more grateful you will become to everyone of your experiences.
Today, remind yourself to be grateful you are not trapped in the world the ego has programmed you to see. It is you who has the power to change the cause, and thus the effect. Today, let us support only the thoughts that will reinforce the world we want. Today, every time the ego demands anger, remind yourself that you have been given free will, and thus can override its decision. You do so by choosing the opposite of what the ego demands, in this case forgiveness. Start to notice that the more thoughts of anger you support and focus on, the angrier and more conflicted this world appears to be. Yet equally so, the more thoughts of forgiveness you choose to support and focus on, the kinder and gentler this same world becomes. Notice when you change your perceptions of the world within your mind, the world outside of you also begins to shift to accommodate and reflect your thinking. Thankfully, you don’t have to wait for seven plus billion people ‘out there’ to change in order for you to experience more peace in your mind and greater joy in your heart. You have been gifted free will. Begin to change your world right now by simply focusing more of your time and energy on thoughts that will help you create the world you want. It is so much easier to find peace in our minds and joy in our hearts than we have been programmed to believe. Today, make the conscious decision to only support the thoughts that will help you design the life and world you want. You, as God’s creation, are forever worthy of the life you want. Still, because of free will, it must also be you who chooses to align your thoughts and mind with the loving expressions that will help support that manifestation.
Today, remind yourself: “I, as God’s creation, can transform the world I see into the one I want. I have been gifted free will, and so I now use it to decide what thoughts I choose to think and support. The thoughts that I choose to think and support will color and design my experience. This day is my canvas, and thus I can paint whatever I choose. I now decide to only support thoughts that align me with my all-loving Source. I now choose to focus on loving thoughts of peace, joy and healing. As God’s child, this is my true nature and inheritance. Today, I accept my inheritance, and set myself free from thoughts, and from a world, I no longer want. Today, I shine bright, and in doing so help light the way for others. Thank you God for helping me, a child who was once blind, but thanks to your guidance and grace, can now truly see. Amen.”
