Blame, bitterness and anger, are the ego’s solutions to blame, bitterness and anger. The ego’s solutions only sound sane to an insane world. If you think of another, and blaming, bitter and angry thoughts flow through your heart and mind, being all One, these thoughts equally hurt and punish you. It is only when you start to value forgiveness, peace of mind and joy, more than self-inflicted pain, poison and punishment, that you will start to do the opposite of what the ego’s world demands. If you want to feel the opposite of the pain, poison and punishment, that the ego makes you feel, then do the opposite of what the ego wants. When those that seem to make you bitter and angry come to mind, offer them instead your forgiveness and compassion. Then pray for their health, happiness, peace of mind and awakening. Offer them everything that you would like to experience yourself. Being all One, offer others exactly what you want. Nothing more than this is ever asked of you to have everything you desire. Let us today decide to no longer travel down a road we know will not get us to our desired destination. All of the ego’s tools, such as those of blame, bitterness and anger, offer you nothing but dead end roads. They offer you nothing, because the ego, being in opposition to All, is itself nothing. Nothing, can not offer you what you want. Nothing, can only ever offer you what it is. Your Source is All, not nothing. Today, let us practice seeing the ego’s delusions and demands for what they are and offer, nothing. Today, realize that nothing will never get us closer to what we want. How much of your life have you already sacrifice trying to make nothing into something? How much longer are you willing to travel down the ego’s dead end roads?
How much longer do you need to follow the ego’s directions in order to figure out that its dead-end roads lead you nowhere you desire to go? How much longer will you, when you think of another, keep on punishing and poisoning yourself with bitter and angry thoughts? When will you finally get that thinking negatively of another, because we are all One, is in reality just punishing and poisoning you? When you think negatively of yourself or others, your brain produces a stress hormones called cortisol that flows through your body, damaging your cells. Cortisol produces inflammation in the body and compromises your immune system. Still, do not despair; because it is you, not the ego, who has ultimate say and control over the thoughts your think. The power to change your thoughts and heal yourself resides not somewhere out there, but within you. Simply deicide to align with forgiving, compassionate, kind, loving, peaceful and joyful thoughts. By doing so you release chemicals in your brain like serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin. All these hormones help calm, relax, heal and reinvigorate your body. Today remind yourself: “Only I can control the thoughts I think. Only I can control the chemicals that my brain produces and flow through my body. In the end, it is only I who can heal or destroy myself.” If you are reading this now, it’s because you are tired of destroying yourself. It is time to try a different route. A way that will once again align you with your loving nature. Today, use those times of bitterness and anger, to trigger in you the desire to take back control of your own mind. Use such thoughts to help you see that what they offer you, you no longer want. Then offer their opposite energetic expression in order to help move you in the direction of your desired destination.
Today, when thoughts of blame, bitterness and anger are demanded by the ego’s programming, politely decline its invitation. Instead of once again falling down the ego’s dark rabbit hole, make the conscious choice to stop that line of thinking. Then, sit for a moment, close your eyes, and quiet the mind. Recall where the ego’s instructions have taken you before. Then allow these words be birth from your soul: “Staring today, right now, I no longer support bitterness and anger as solutions to my confusion. I no longer choose to support, carry within, maintain and sustain, such energies. Father, today, right now, I hand over, release and let go, this bitterness and anger to You. In doing so I watch them dissolved before Your light, love, mercy and understanding. Father, today I practice releasing and letting go all of my bitterness and anger to You over and over again until I start to feel, truly understand and awaken to, Your guidance and wisdom. Now, in place of my bitterness and anger that I have released over to you, I ask You to please help refill me. Please offer to all my bothers and sisters, Your blessings, Your peace of mind and joy, Your forgiveness, compassion and understanding. By doing so, what I through You give to them, I now get to experience myself. Now, those vacant areas within me are where blame, bitterness and anger once stood, are filled with Your love, peace, mercy and understanding. Thank you Father for Your guidance. Thank you for helping me recall my true nature, essence and Home. Today, Father, please join me as I thank all my brothers and sisters. I thank them for helping me practice releasing myself from the pain and suffering that I was putting myself through. By doing so, I set myself free, free to be, exactly who You created me to be. Amen.”
Today, when thoughts of bitterness and anger enter our minds, let us recall that such thoughts take us no where we want to be. Knowing this, let us end our support for them. We end our support by taking away the time, focus and energy, we have been investing in their survival. The moment we decide to stop supporting them, is the moment they will begin to dissolve from our lives. Then let us use this opening, to put our time, focus and energy, into investing in thoughts that will bring us the peace of mind and joy we want. Compassion and forgiveness are two thoughts that we can replace bitterness and anger with. Now, when bitter and angry thoughts come to mind, let us practice replacing them with compassionate and forgiving thoughts, until we can see and understand the wisdom of such efforts.
