Daily Inspiration: April 9. Awakening from the Dream of Judgment
Once you awaken, you will have no interest in judging those who sleep. For what use does judgment have when we become aware that our sisters and brothers are simply unconsciously reading from a script, acting, programmed to recite lines from a fictional play, written by the ego, and for the ego. When you awaken, if you see others offering you something other than love and its expressions, such as kindness, generosity, forgiveness and compassion, you will know that they are simply dreaming, reading memorized lines from a fictional play not written by the eternal truth in them. Our eternal truth being love, which is the main expression of God, who is All, is free from judgment, because there is in truth no opposite to All. If there is no opposite to Love which is All, then the only time you can be judging, or believing that you are being judged, is when you are dreaming. Today let us begin to train our minds to say no to judgment, and no to all the frustration, anger, resentment, jealousy and hate that they bring into our lives. Today let us say no to punishing ourselves with our own thoughts, let us stop putting ourselves down. Today we remember that we are all One, and so let us decline when the ego demands we judge any of God’s creations. Every single time we reject the ego’s calls for judgment, let that signal to us, that we are on our way to awakening. Allow these small victories to bring joy to your heart and peace to your soul. Allow these feelings of joy and peace to begin reminding you of who you truly are, and so each day practice aligning with them more and more in order to help you fully awaken from the ego’s dream.
We are all One, that is why when you awaken from the dream of judgment; others judgments will have less power over you. The less power others judgments have over you, the less you will feel like you have to defend yourself, equally, through the act of judgment. Do we really need to defend ourselves against someone who is dreaming? And if we don’t, then what good does judgment, as a form of defense, make? As the time spent in the dream state of judgment decreases, the time spent in the awaken state of peace increases. Gratitude will become your natural response to spending more and more time in the awaken state of peace. One tool that is offered to us to take us from the dream state of judgment to the awaken state peace is forgiveness. Today make the conscious choice not to get sucked to the ego’s dreams of judgment, for if you do, you will simply make the ego’s dream a bigger part of your life. As the ego’s judgments become a bigger part of your life, what the ego is in essence doing is, stealing your life away from you. Today, see the ego’s calls for judgments of yourself or others, as an effort by it to starve you and feed itself. The more you align with the dream of judgment, the more you lose the memory of who you truly are, and that is exactly where the ego wants you, feeling lost, unsure, off-balance, insecure, and confused. The more you align with the ego’s mindset that says that you could never be God’s perfect loving creation, the more you will believe that you are not a sacred part of God. By doing so, the ego gives you free rein to keep judging yourself and others, and as we have said before, it is judgment that is the ego’s main fuel source. Yet do not despair, for free will is God’s eternal gift to us, and thus we can in every moment, choose to begin to awaken, by making a more forgiving and loving choice.
Today we use the dream of judgment not to put others and ourselves down, but instead to help awaken us from the dream. We will use judgment as a sort of snooze button, in our own personal alarm clock. Today any time we judge, we use this opportunity as a trigger to remind us that it is now time to awaken from the dream. Yes, because of the ego’s past programming we might have to push that snooze button more than a few times, maybe even dozens or hundreds of times, but each time we push it, we will get closer to awakening. Now, we no longer need to judge our past, for our past / all those times we pushed the snooze button, are the reason we are now choosing to awaken. It is because of our past that we are now at a place in our dream cycle where the dream is ending and the awakening process has begun. How illogical would it now be, to judge our past or the people in it, for we now know that they were simply a part of a process that helped us awaken. Once we remember this, once we awaken, gratitude not judgment, will become our response to our past and all those who were a part of it. Imagine the beauty and sacred nature of a day, when you no longer look at your past or all those from it, with judgment. Imagine replacing all your past judgments with understanding, forgiveness and gratitude, just how lovely and freeing would such days be? Understanding because you now have know that every step, and everyone along your path, played a sacred part in your awakening process. Forgiveness because you have accepted and are now using God’s gift of free will, and thus have chosen to free yourself from thoughts and thinking that were hurting you and others. Gratitude because having awaken from the dream, we can now fully participate in God’s creation, as God’s creation.
Today, our goal is simply to become aware or awake enough to know when we are using the ego’s tool of judgment, then we will stop ourselves on our track, and switch tools to God’s tool of forgiveness. We today use judgment, not to judge ourselves or others, but to help us awaken to the understanding that we no longer need to participate in the ego’s dream. When others judge us, we do not judge them back, we no longer play such silly little games, instead we use such opportunities to realize that they are but dreaming. We allow our forgiving response to show them that there is another way, indeed a gentler more loving path, and that they to can choose such a path.
