Daily Inspiration: April 9. Awakening from the Dream of Judgment
Once you awaken, you will have no interest in judging those who sleep. For what use would we have for judgment, when we realize, that they are simply reciting lines from a fictional play within their own dreams. When you awaken, if you see others offering you something other than love and its expressions, such as kindness, generosity, forgiveness, compassion and understanding, you will know that they are simply dreaming. When you awaken to your loving nature, you will recall that we are all One, and so that the loving truth in you, is the loving truth in them. Our eternal truth is Love, the primary expression of God, who is All. Love is free from judgment, because there is no opposite to All. If there is no opposite to Love which is All, then the only time you can be judging, or believing that you are being judged, is when you are asleep and dreaming. Today, let us train our minds to say no to judgment. No, to all the frustration, anger, jealousy, hate and resentment, that it brings into our lives. Today, let us say no, to punishing ourselves or others with our own thoughts. Today, let us recall that being all One, that when we are judging others, we are also condemning ourselves. Every time we succeed in rejecting the ego’s calls for judgment, let that signal to us, that we are on our way to awakening from the ego’s dream. Allow each and every victory over the ego, no matter how small it may appear to be, to bring joy to your heart and peace to your soul. Allow these feelings of joy and peace, to help remind you, of who you truly are. The more we get to practice declining the ego’s calls for judgment, the more time we will spend in the state of peace. This will make us a greater example to others, that awakening from the ego’s judgment-centered dream, is not such a difficult task to accomplish.
We are all One, that is why when you awaken to the illusionary nature of judgment; others judgments of you, will have less power over you. The less power others judgments have over you, the less need you will have to defend yourself through the ‘act’ of judgment. We no longer will need to defend ourselves against those who we know are simply dreaming. If we don’t, then what good does judgment, as a form of defense, make? As our dream state of judgment decreases, the time spent in the awaken state of peace increases. Gratitude will then become your response, to spending more time in the state of peace. Forgiveness, is one tool that takes us from the dream state, to the awaken state. Today, when the ego’s judgment dream tries to suck you in, forgive it and awaken to what is really going on. What the ego is trying to do, is to become a bigger part of your life, and thus have more control over it. The more you buy into the dream of judgment, the more you lose the memory of who you truly are. This is what the ego wants, for you to feel lost, unsure, off-balance, insecure, and confused, for when you feel this way, you are more likely to judge. This way the ego keeps you on its payroll, judging self and others, feeding it and starving you. Yet, do not despair, for free will is God’s eternal gift to us, and thus we can in any moment, choose to begin to awaken, by making a more forgiving and loving choice. Today, use the ego’s attempts at judgment, to instead practice forgiveness. As you do, you will begin to feel the ego’s power over you begin to diminish, and your peace of mind become a greater part of your experience.
Today, let us use the dream of judgment, not to continue to put self or others down, but instead to help trigger in us, the need to awaken from the ego’s dream. Let us use judgment as a sort of snooze button, in our own personal alarm clock. Today, when we judge, we use such an opportunity to trigger in us, the reminder that it is now time to awaken from the dream. Yes, because of the ego’s past programming, we may have to push that snooze button more than a few times, maybe even dozens or hundreds of times, but each time we push it, we will get closer to awakening. Now, we no longer need to judge our past, for our past / all those times we pushed the snooze button, are together, the reason we are now choosing to awaken. It is because of our past, that we are now at a place in our dream cycle, where the dream is ending and the awakening process has begun. How illogical would it now be, to judge our past or the people in it, for simply being a part of our awakening process. Once we awaken, gratitude not judgment, will become our response to our past, and to all those who were a part of it. Imagine, the beauty and sacred nature of a day, when you no longer look at your past or all those from it, with judgment. Imagine, replacing all your past judgments with forgiveness, gratitude and understanding, simply because now you know that every step, and everyone along your path, played a sacred part in your awakening process. Now, free from the ego’s programs, you use free will to align with and represent, your all-loving Source. Freed from thoughts and thinking that were hurting you and others, now you become a light to others, helping them gently awaken from the darkness and despair of the ego’s dreams.
Today, when the ego is once again demanding that we support its false concept of judgment, let us recall that we have free will, and can thus decline its request. Let us remember, where the ego’s judgment centered mindset has taken us before, no where we desire to be, and definitely not to the state of peace. Then, let us recall, that we as God’s, Love’s creations, are forever worthy of peace. To get us to this place of peace, let us simply offer others, the opposite of what the ego demands, forgiveness. The more that, through free will, we choose forgiveness over judgment, the more control we achieve over our thoughts, thinking, minds and lives. Today, let us become grateful, not judgmental of, all those who have help us practice using our free will to take back control of our own minds and lives. As we take back control of our minds and lives, as we awaken form the ego’s dream of judgment, we become an example to others, that they too can choose forgiveness over judgment, and thus also awaken from their sleep.
