Daily Inspiration: August 11. Forgiveness is an Act of Love and Self-Love

When you forgive a sister, you remind her that it is not her body, words or actions, that are the truth in her. Her truth is her changeless nature, her eternal light and love filled soul. The body is just a temporal communication device for the soul. If we decide to align with the temporal, we will experience what the temporal world has to offer. If we keep our focus on the eternal, then it will be the symbols of the eternal that will surround us. In every moment we have that choice, to align with the temporal or the eternal. The temporal is what the ego has programmed us to think that we are, the dust that returns to dust. The eternal in us is the representative of God, Love on Earth. We are here to represent God, Love on Earth, that is, in every moment, our function here. To properly represent the eternal we need to overlook or forgive the little judgment centered games that the ego plays within time. To represent Love we need to forgive people’s programs and instead focus only on their eternal nature. Forgiveness, as an expression of Love, opens the door from the temporal to the eternal. Today, offer your sister gratitude for the opportunity to see only the light in her, so that you may recall it as your own. The more you get to practice choosing and aligning with your eternal essence, the more fulfilled you will feel, because in essence you will be doing what you came here to do. Today, thanks to free will, know that the choice to leave the temporal and align with the eternal is just a choice away. In fact, all of Love’s expressions, are always just a simple choice away, and thus Heaven on Earth is also always within reach. This is the gift that forgiveness in every moment offers us, the chance to align with our loving nature, and thus start becoming who we came here to be.

We have all already given away enough of our lives focused on judgment, a symbol of the temporal, instead of forgiveness, a symbol of the eternal. We are now awakening to the realization of what both choices have to offer. One choice chains us to the past. The other choice sets us forever free. One choice puts us in a bad mood during the day, making us quicker to anger. The other choice brings a kind, warm and inviting, smile to our face. One choice robs us of our nightly rest, as we toss and turn thinking negative thoughts about self and others. The other choice lets us lay our heads gently on our pillows, and allows us to fall into a deep and healing sleep. As we awaken we begin to realize which choice we are truly worthy of. We, all of us, even and especially those who still are asleep to the truth in them, are Love’s children. We are thus all forever worthy of His Love and all of Love’s expressions. If God forever sees us as worthy of His Love, would it not be wise to at least make a serious attempt to follow His example? Today, let us try seeing ourselves and others, only as He sees us. His example and guidance will lead us to a place of peace, joy and understanding, in essence a Heaven on Earth. If we decline His example and align ourselves with the ego, we end up in a judgmental, angry and resentful place, basically a Hell on Earth. The choice for Heaven or Hell on Earth is made in every moment. Our choices will create the world we experience and that our children will one day inherit. Today, let us make the conscious choice to only see the eternal essence in God’s creations, and not as some temporal illusionary character within the ego’s fairy tale. Today, by allowing God to guide us, we align with the eternal in us, and see all others only as God sees us.

Today, let us practice feeling how deeply loving and self-loving it is to forgive ‘others’ and ourselves, to overlook the false and see only the truth as true. As we do so, we will once again begin to consciously merge back into the loving beings we came here to be. As we do so, we will return back to aligning with the Light that is a reflection of our true Home. Today, let us gladly shine our eternal loving essence upon all those who God brings before us. As we do so, we begin to see this loving light reflecting back from everyone and all. This way of being and interacting with our fellow brothers and sisters will bring us the peace of mind and joy that we have for so long longed for. We are worthy of all that God is. Peace of mind and joy are just two of His many loving expressions. As we, through forgiveness or overlooking the false, achieve that states of peace and joy, we will begin to understand that these states of mind have always been available to us. All we ever truly needed to do was to choose them to have them. Today, let us use every opportunity that is being presented to us, every interaction we have, to learnt to use and represent Love’s expression of forgiveness. Each forgiving step we take and choice we make brings us into a closer alignment with our true nature. Today, let us with honor, and walk hand in hand with all those who are helping us recall who in truth we are. Let us gladly help guide them, through forgiveness, to this place of perfect peace, joy and understanding. This place of perfect peace, joy and understanding, is our true Home, the Heavenly state of mind. This is a place that we have for a moment in eternity temporarily forgotten, but a place that in truth we have never left. Today, all we need do to experience and represent our Home on Earth is to be who we were created to be, and see only this truth in all others as true. 

Today, let us offer our deep and sincere gratitude to those who are offering us the opportunities to practice forgiveness. When we forgive those who the ego demands we judge, we begin putting into place the building blocks that will help us create the world we want to experience, and that one day, our children will inherit. Today, through our choice to forgive we represent the Heavenly state of mind and reject a Hell of our own making. It will be the seeds we plant today, that tomorrow become the source of sustenance for our children. God, today is entrusting us with His children. All we need do is to look upon them as He sees us. Today, all God is asking us to do in order to begin building and experiencing a Heaven on Earth, is to forgive them their trespasses, as He has forgiven ours.
