Daily Inspiration: August 15. The Words We Use Will Lead Us to the Life We Live

Today, let us pay close attention to the words we are using — not only the words we are verbalizing, but also our internal dialogue. Words are verbal manifestations of thoughts. By verbalizing what we are thinking and feeling, we get a clearer picture of our internal condition. The genesis of our thoughts comes from whose advice we follow. There are two main advisors: God Who Is Love, and the ego that represents fear. When we are aligned with God, our words are kind, gentle, forgiving, graceful, generous, loving and produce peace of mind, safety, comfort and joy. When we are aligned with the ego, our words become sarcastic, judgmental, hurtful and produce inner conflict, discomfort, pain and guilt. By paying close attention to what we are saying, we get a clearer picture whose advice we are following. Following Love’s advise will lead us to peace. Following fear’s advice will lead us to pain. Our final destination will be a place of peace or pain, a decision that thanks to free will, is ours to make. We have all traveled down the ego’s path and allowed it many times to become our advisor. Let us not judge ourselves for this nor despair, for God being Love and All, He can use all, even the ego’s deceptions and darkness, for good, to bring light to this world. Today, if we find ourselves following the ego’s advice, let us not judge ourselves. Instead, let us use such moments to see that these are no longer the roads we desire to travel. Our pain tolerance may be quite high, but it is not without limit. Note that even when the ego ‘wins’, by us following its advise, it loses. The ego loses because we get to more fully see and experience how unproductive, unlike and unnatural to our loving nature, its way of thinking and being is.

Let us today understand that where we end up is the kind of place we think we are worthy and in need of experiencing. Today, if you find yourself in a destination of emotional or spiritual pain, do not judge yourself as bad, not spiritual enough, or unworthy of peace. Instead, be grateful that you now have the wisdom to recognize that this is not a place or state of mind where you belong. Anytime you find yourself in the darkness, stop, and recall that you have free will, and thus can make a better, more productive, loving and light filled choice. Today, promise yourself that you will no longer despair when you find yourself in a difficult situation. Instead, learn to use such situations to first offer God your gratitude for the gift of free will. As your judgments of self and others begin to be replace by gratitude, your darkness will begin to be replace by the eternal light within. The light in you will remind you that in every single moment you have the opportunity and ability to choose once again, and begin anew. Your current destination does not need to be an end, it can just as easily become a new beginning. Practice supporting this knowledge as true anytime you are feeling fearful, stuck or dishearten. Simply stop supporting the thoughts and words that supports a mindset that leaves you feeling fearful, stuck and dishearten. Now, instead of withering away in the ego’s darkness, figure out which thoughts and words align you with the light within. Then practice choosing the light over the darkness, over and over again, until such a choice becomes second nature. Simply, on a daily basis, practice thinking, verbalizing, living and supporting, the thoughts, words and actions, that move you in the direction of your desired destination.

Today, let us notice if the words that we are using are moving us in the direction of, or away from, the life we want. When we notice our words are not supporting or moving us in the direction of the life we want, let us stop that line of thinking. Then let us shift our focus to choose words that actually support, help guide and lead us, to the life we want. The less time we spend walking away from our desired destination, the less distance we will have to travel to get there. When we find ourselves using non-supportive language let us not put ourselves down. Instead, let us first pat ourselves on the back for having the wisdom to see that we are not headed in the right direction. Then let us simply, gently, and respectfully, change advisors and thus direction. The more we practice this self-awareness technique, the more control we will have over our minds and thus over the words we use. The more control we have over the words we use, the quicker we will reach our desired destination. Being all One, the more supportive we are of ourselves, the more supportive we will want to be of others. The more supportive we are, the less judgment and pain we will feel, carry within, experience and export. The lighter our burdens, the more joyful and peaceful we will become. All this growth and beauty will come from the simple choice to become more self-aware of the words we use on a daily basis. Today, let us notice how the words we use are paving the way to the destiny of our choice. Today, let us not take our words lightly. Those same roads that our words will be paving, will be the same ones that one day, our children will travel.

Today, let us get a clearer picture of our internal condition. We do so by paying attention to the words we are using both externally and internally. There is no one that will speak more to you during your lifetime than you will. Silent as most of those words may be, you are healing or poisoning yourself with every thought you think. Today, do not despair if many of the words you use are harsh, punishing and unkind. Simply recall that you have free will and can thus in any moment shift from fear to love, from unkind to kind, and thus begin anew. Today, recall you are Love’s creation, and choose, accept and share, only loving, kind, forgiving, healing and understanding, words. The more you align with this loving and uplifting dialogue, the sooner you will realize that this way of thinking is helping you create the life you want.

May your light shine brighter and brighter with each thought you have and word you use. Then may that light guide those who remain stuck in the the ego’s darken stories back into alignment with the loving light within them.

Today’s message reminded me that we have free will to choose the words we will think & speak. This is a struggle for me but reminders like this are good. Good because as you say we are paving the way to our destiny and the life we choose to have. Thanks you.

Thank you Nadia for being open to the message.

If having trouble choosing what to think and say consider the following: Today, before each interaction, consciously choose to align with God, Love, the Light in you, and then allow only the Light in you to think, say and do only what Love would think, say and do. Do so and you will feel fulfilled because you will be fulling your function as tbe the light of the world that God created you to be.

So true ..i use loving word ..then when fear show up i dont care what i say then its to late to take back..i understand now thank you this help me big time

Thank you Lorraine for being open to the message.

Just keep on practicing, over and over again, catching yourself quicker and quicker when you move into fear, then making the conscious choice to stop those fear based thoughts by starving them of your time, focus and energy.

The forgive those fear based thoughts. After you’ve forgiven and thus taken back control of your own mind by aligning it with your loving nature, offer only love and love’s expressions to all those that God sends your way.
