Daily Inspiration: February 3. Revealing the Truth Within
We are more than a physical structure called our bodies, more than the hardware called our brains, more than the software call our minds. We are our Creator’s creation; and our Creator is Love and All, therefore All that The Divine is we are, and only what God is can we truly ever be. Anything apart from or in opposition to this Love, is the ego’s programming, and thus not a part of our true eternal loving essence. Love has numerous expressions such as kindness, peace, joy, forgiveness, and trust, and so today, let us look to consciously align with these energies and emotions, so that they may help us in revealing the truth within. Anytime today, that we are having difficulty making a decision, we simply invite and allow our truth to decide for us. We can ask ourselves questions like: What would Jesus do? What would be the most loving thing to do? What would align me now with Peace? All these are simply saying: What would the truth in me do? When you are aligned with, and making decision from, the truth in you, your result will be an expression of your true nature, of the love that you are and were created to be. Just as important, do not despair when you find yourself aligning with the ego’s programming, with the opposite of Love, with such expressions as judgment, anger, anxiety, stress, jealousy, and hate, simply recognize what you are doing and have done, forgive yourself and others, and then correct your course to align your sail once again with your loving nature. To judge oneself or others, is to play the ego’s game, but if you are reading this now, then the time for playing fear based games has ended, and the time to become who you were create to be has come. Today, rejoice, for the more you get to practice aligning with the truth within, the more natural this behavior will become, and the more at home, safe, secure, joyous and at peace, even in this seeming dualistic world, you will feel.
There is no need to judge or condemn yourself or others for being out of alignment with the truth within, for that is exactly what the ego would want. The ego wants judgments of any sort, for it is judgments that fuels it. It is judgments that separate us from each other. The ego uses this mindset so that it can have us all to itself. In this manner, the ego gets us to focus on our relationship with it, and by doing so, it can become a bigger and bigger part of our lives. Today, let us not despair or judge ourselves for being absorbed in the ego’s thinking. When we experience emotions such as judgment, anger, anxiety, stress, jealousy, and hate, we do not look any longer to put ourselves down for them, instead let us find ways to use these energies and emotions to help lift us up and out of the ego’s swamp. If our reaction to others and ourselves is anything other than loving, let us say to ourselves: “Ok, I can now see that when I am aligned with the ego’s mindset, I am simply buying into my programmed or false self as real. I no longer need to support, who I no longer desire to be. I recognize what I have done, and because it is I who have done this, it is also I who can undo what I have done. I now forgive myself and others, and place my focus back where it belongs, aligned with my loving nature, with the truth within.” Love has gifted us the power of free will, we can in any moment override our programing, and move from fear to love. Let us today, be grateful for the many opportunities that we will be given to practice leaving the programmed self behind, and aligning once again with the love that is our eternal essence, with the truth within.
The more we make the conscious choice to align with the expressions of love, the more our truth will be revealed, and the more clarity we will have. Yet equally so, the more conscious we are that we are aligning with the ego’s programmed self, the more clarity we will receive in understanding who we are not. Figuring out who we are not, can be very useful, in helping us figure out, who we truly are. And so you see, both are of equal use. We do not, as the ego would have us do, need to judge ourselves when we are supporting our programmed false self as real. We no longer need to support the idea of putting others or ourselves down, simply because, according to the ego, we are not perfect, or spiritual or good enough. Instead, let us use everything that the ego tries to hurt us with, turn it 180 degrees upside down, and use it to help us understand ourselves better, and by doing so, heal. And so now when we use the ego’s tools of judgment, anger, anxiety, stress, jealousy, and hate, we become present, acknowledge how they are making us feel, acknowledge that it is our own thoughts and thinking that are supporting these emotions, start to really feel and understand how unlike and unaligned these energies are to the truth within us, and begin through forgiveness, to release them and let them go. We do all this consciously, and by having the courage to do so, we begin to recall that what they have to offer, we no longer want. Let us then practice catching ourselves quicker and quicker when we are out of alignment with the truth within, in doing so, we start spending less and less time in the confusion and chaos of the ego’s world, and thus more and more time aligning with and becoming an example of, the truth within.
An All-Loving God created us, and so what else but love could the truth within us be? Today, let us practice aligning with the truth within. The more we get to practice aligning with the truth within, the more natural and right it will feel, and thus the more we will reinforce and strengthen our connection to our Loving Source. Today, let us also practice seeing everything as helpful. When we find ourselves out of alignment with the truth within, we use such situations, not to judge ourselves or others, but as opportunities, given to us by our brothers and sisters, to practice recognizing when we are out of alignment with who in truth we are. The more we practice catching ourselves when we are out of alignment with the truth within, the quicker we will come to this recognition, and the less time we will spend reinforcing and strengthening who we are not. The less time we spend supporting the false self as real, the more time we will spend aligning with, and becoming an example of, the truth within.
