Daily Inspiration: February 9. Returning to our Natural State, the State of Peace
Today, let us together practice returning to our natural state, the state of peace. We do this by making our primary goal for the day, to move in the direction of peace. We, before any interaction, remind ourselves: “Above all else peace is my goal in this interaction.” By bringing the goal of peace into our conscious awareness, we awaken within the present moment, to the knowledge that peace is always just a choice, that in any moment, we can make. By making peace our goal, the situation then becomes a means to achieve our goal. If we start seeing and feeling ourselves during the interaction, out of alignment with our goal, we can then more quickly remind ourselves of our goal, and correct our path. Today, we are being proactive, about bringing a greater sense of peace into our lives, instead of being reactive, and waiting for peace to come to us. Peace, is one of the many expressions of Love, and because Love is our Creator, we are always worthy of experiencing the state of peace. If you are having difficulties achieving peace in the interaction, remind yourself: “I am my Creator’s creation, and thus are worthy of peace, and because we are all One, so too are my brothers and sisters worthy of peace. I now offer peace to them, so I may receive peace myself.” Nothing in reality separates us from the state of peace, yet within the ego’s illusionary mindset, one thing that can separate us from peace, is the belief that we are not worthy of it. When you hold a belief, that is not taking you in the direction of the life you want, then simply recognize that it is offering nothing you want, and then make the conscious choice to end your support of it. You end your support of it, by no longer putting your time, focus and energy, on it. As you end your support of it, its fuel source is stop, and it then slowly begins to dissolve away, back into the nothingness from which it came.
Today, let us see every interaction that we have with a fellow brother or sister, as an opportunity, a gift that they are offering us, and we are accepting, to practice remembering, that we are indeed worthy of peace. The more you get to practice acknowledging to yourself that you are worthy of peace, the more real to you this truth will become. The more you are in conscious alignment with the state of peace, the sooner you will get to realize and recall, that peace is your true home. Imagine, truly believing that you have the ability to choose, in every interaction, to move in the direction of peace. When you recall that every moment is here for your good, what else but gratitude could you express throughout your day? Each and every time today, that we make a conscious effort to make peace, the goal for more and more of our daily interactions, our life will begin to shift in order to reflect our efforts. Let us remember, the key part that those we are participating in the interaction with, play. They are the ones who are helping us practice remembering that we are worthy of peace. We have, unconscious as we may be of it, chosen them to help us remember our worth, and they have, unconscious as they may be of it, volunteer to help us, and because we are all One, help themselves to also recall their own worth. If every moment is, in one way or another, here to remind us that we are worthy, and worthy of peace, would every interaction not be sacred? Adding this knowledge to the understanding, that our Creator, uses all for good, would the beauty and hallowed nature of your day, not begin to fill your heart with gratitude for those who have volunteer to come in and help you heal, grow, and awaken?
Today, before any interaction, we make peace our goal, and thus now, our interactions start becoming the fuel source that we use to reach our goal. Imagine, little by little, your life and the way you perceive and direct it, aligning more and more with the state of peace. If peace starts becoming a greater part of your day then, just mathematically speaking, the ego’s judgment base tools and mindset, such as those of anger, frustration, worry, resentment and regret, would take a lesser role in your life. As you consciously spend less of your time, focus and energy, on the ego’s mindset, it begins to slowly start losing its power and control over you and your emotions. The ego begins dissolving from your life, and all because you recognize that you are indeed worthy of peace. As the ego dissolves you will see, notice and feel, that peace is taking its place, but this is in truth just an uncovering of what has always been there. The choice for peace, as peace itself, has always been available to you, because peace as an extension and expression of Love, is all that in truth you are. You are in essence, just taking down, your blocks to the awareness of the presence of peace. By doing so, little by little we will start to see, that it is indeed we who hold the ultimate power of how we shape our experience. Judgment of self and others, frustration, anger, resentment and revenge, will all bow down and surrender, when you awaken to the knowledge that everyone and everything today, is here to help you achieve a greater sense of peace in your life. Everyone and everything today, is here to help remind you that you are worthy of peace, and it is the recognition of this truth, that will bring gratitude to your heart, peace to your mind, and joy to your life.
Today, let us see every interaction, as an opportunity to bring us, into a more conscious alignment with the state of peace. Peace as an expression of Love, is our natural state. When we are not at peace, we are not in our natural state. The way we will today practice aligning with our natural state, will be by making peace our goal before every interaction. When your goal is set before the interaction, then the interaction itself becomes the fuel source that you use to help you achieve your goal. And so today, before you interact with or meet anyone, remind yourself: “Peace is my goal for this interaction.” Yet even during the interaction, if you find yourself out of alignment with your goal, simply once again remind yourself of your goal, and return to peace. A useful tool that can help us achieve our goal, is forgiveness. Forgive yourself, your brother and sister, and thus stop fueling a mindset that you do not want. Then shift to support your goal, do so and you’ll begin to achieve the peace you want, are worthy of, and as God’s child, deserve.
