Daily Inspiration: January 19. The Illusionary Power of an Unforgiving Thought
Even our most difficult experiences have a higher purpose, and can and will serve a greater good. When we don’t see this as true, we simply lack of full understanding of what is really going on, the Whole Picture. This lack of understanding does not make us less spiritual people, is just means that we have temporarily forgotten the sacred nature of the journey that we have co-created with The Divine. It is within this state of unawareness or forgetfulness, that we unconsciously allow the ego’s fog filled lies, to block the light of truth. One thing that is blocking us from seeing this truth is our own unforgiving thoughts. Our unforgiving thoughts hold us prisoners within our own minds. If you were to recall, that everything that happens in your life, is occurring to help you grow, heal and awaken, then what use would you again ever have for an unforgiving thought? It is an unforgiving thought, our unawareness or forgetfulness, that makes such emotions as anger, anguish, grievance, regret and revenge, seem rational and real. The only thing, that an unforgiving thought seems to offer you, is a false power over others. But really, whose power and energy is being drained and diminished by holding on to this type of thinking? Go ahead, carry as many unforgiving thoughts about self and others as you believe that you must, but do at the very least ask yourself, who is really the one who is being damaged by carrying the weight of judgment’s burdens? Are these judgmental, negative, unforgiving and pain-filled thoughts not being carried within you? Are your own unforgiving thoughts not punishing and poisoning you? Are your unforgiving thoughts not making you feel less and less powerful as you log their heavy weight around with you throughout your days and nights? Is it not time to start looking within, to see what it is that you are doing, through your own thoughts, to yourself?
When you accept your divine nature, and make the conscious decision to forgive unforgiving thoughts, what you are really saying is: “I trust in God’s will. Because it is His will, it will always, in some way, shape or form, benefit me, others, and this planet.” When you are choosing to hold unto unforgiving thoughts, what you are really saying is: “I am not yet worthy of the peace of mind and joy, that forgiveness and trusting in God’s will, brings to my life.” Just one unforgiving thought has the illusionary power to separate us from our peace, joy, and hold us captive as a prisoner within our own minds. No longer support the ego’s judgment centered mindset, and thus continue to pour salt on your own wounds. Today, let us recall, that whatever swamplands the ego has tried to sell us as paradise, whatever false power it has convinced us that judgment, anger, resentment and revenge have, that every single one of the ego’s tools, being illusionary in nature, are not real or true. Untruth, illusions, have no power, other than the power that we give to them. Forgiveness is a statement of awareness, one that sees the false as false. Forgiveness and faith are the true healing powers that we hold within. They are, being expressions of Love, ways to align with The Divine. It is The Divine that is our true nature and home. It is aligned with The Divine where we forever belong. Today, let us practice forgiving the unforgiving thought. As we practice aligning with forgiveness which is an expression of Love, we practice aligning with our Creator. The more we practice aligning with our Creator, the more that forgiveness will become our natural response and expression to the ego’s illusions and lies.
Today, let us recall and reinforce, that only the Love in us is truly real. Let us recall that forgiveness, as an expression of Love is real, and thus that its opposite, unforgiving thoughts, are not. Unforgiving thoughts, being in truth not real, have no power over us. Yet, this is why the ego demands we use them, because according to it, it gives us power over others. Choosing not to forgive is not evil, it is simply a symbol of a mind asleep. Only a mind asleep, can be held captive by thoughts, that in truth have no power. Let us no longer buy into the ego’s dream, its lies as true. Let us stop punishing ourselves with our own unforgiving thoughts. Let us no longer hold anyone as a prisoner within our own hearts and minds. Let us no longer trust the unforgiving thought more than the sacred and loving nature of the plan that we have designed with The Divine. Today, let us awaken to the understanding, that when we experience an unforgiving thought, we do not put ourselves or others down for this. Instead, let us simply realize that we are simply dreaming, and buying into the ego’s lies as true. Then let us awaken by recalling that everything that happens to us, no matter how we have been programmed by the ego to see it, will be used by God for good. Understanding this, forgiveness, not unforgiving thoughts, become our response to every step along the sacred path that we have designed with The Divine. Awaken to the sacred nature of our co-creation with God, what further need would we have for judgment and unforgiving thoughts? None, for now aligned with Truth we will have no further need for the ego’s illusionary thinking.
Today, when you are holding unto an unforgiving thought, do not put yourself or others down for this, instead see it simply as a symbol, of a mind that is asleep to its true loving nature. Forgiveness is a reflection of the Love that is your Creator, and your Creator being All, is who in truth you are. An unforgiving thought is illusionary in nature because it is the opposite of who in truth you are. When you begin to align with your true nature, and replace unforgiving thoughts with forgiving thoughts, know that the ego will not go quietly into the night. You may need to repeat such actions numerous times, over an extended period of time, until you are able to see, feel and acknowledge, the wisdom of the choice to align with Love. Forgive those the ego insist you should not. Set free all those that you have, through your judgments and unforgiving thoughts, imprisoned within your own heart and mind. Do so, and feel the true power that Truth has over illusions, that forgiveness has over an unforgiving thought.
