Daily Inspiration: January 19. The Illusionary Power of an Unforgiving Thought
Even our toughest experiences during our life, have a higher purpose and can and will serve a greater good. When we don’t experience this as true, we simply have a lack of full understanding of what is really going on, the Whole Picture if you would. Rarely do we know what we will have for lunch or dinner a week from today, let alone what is in the best interest of the whole universe. This lack of understanding does not make us less spiritual people, is just mean that we have temporarily forgotten the sacred nature of the journey that we have co-created with an All-Loving God. It is within this state of forgetfulness that we unconsciously allow the ego’s fog filled lies, to block the light of truth. One thing that will help us start to remember our true nature, and see through the ego’s fog, is forgiveness. One thing that is blocking us from seeing this truth is our own unforgiving thoughts. Our unforgiving thoughts hold us prisoners within our own minds. If you were to begin to remember, that everything that happens in your life, is occurring to help you grow, heal and awaken, then what use would you again ever have for an unforgiving thought? Thus, in the end, it is an unforgiving thought, our forgetfulness, that makes such emotions as anger, anguish, grievance, or sorrow, seem rational and real. The only thing, that an unforgiving thought seems to offer you, is a false power over others. But really, whose power and energy is being drained and diminished by this type of thinking? Go ahead, carry as many unforgiving thoughts about self and others as you believe that you must, but do at the very least ask yourself, where are these burdens being carried? Are these judgmental, negative, and unforgiving thoughts not being carried within you? Are your own unforgiving thoughts not punishing and poisoning you? Are your unforgiving thoughts not making you feel less and less powerful as you log their heavy weight along with you throughout your days and nights? Is it not time to start looking within, to see what it is that you are doing, through your own thoughts, to yourself?
When you accept your divine nature, and make the conscious choice to forgive unforgiving thoughts of yourself, others, God, anything, and all, what you are really saying is: “I trust God, that His will is being done, and because it is being done, it will always, in some way, shape or form, benefit me, others, and this planet.” When you are choosing to hold unto an unforgiving thought about yourself, others, God, anything, and all, what you are really saying is: “I am not worthy of the peace of mind and joy, that forgiveness and trusting in God’s plan, would bring to me.” Just one unforgiving thought has the illusionary power to separate us from our peace, joy, and hold us captive as a prisoner within our own minds. No longer support the ego’s mindset that says that you must judge yourself or others, and thus continuing to pour salt on your own wounds. Today, let us begin to recall, that whatever swamplands the ego has tried to sell us as paradise, whatever false power it has convinced us that judgment, anger, resentment, and revenge have, that every single one of the ego’s illusions and lies, can be made powerless, when through free will, we make the conscious choice to align with the eternal light and understanding that forgiveness brings. Forgiveness helps us face the false, see it as false, and thus release us from its grip. Forgiveness and faith are the true healing powers that we hold within. They are, being expressions of Love, ways to once again align with The Divine. It is The Divine that is our true home, it is aligned with The Divine where we truly and forever belong. Today, let us forgive the unforgiving thought, and by doing so, begin to once again align with our Creator, with Love, peace, and joy.
Today, let us remember that only the Love in us is truly real. Let us recall that forgiveness, as an expression of Love is real, and thus that its opposite, unforgiving thoughts, are not. Unforgiving thoughts, being in truth not real, can have no power over us nor anyone else, and yet that is why the ego demands we use them, because according to it, it gives us power over others. Choosing not to forgive is not evil, but very simply a symbol of a mind asleep. Only within a dream, can you be held captive by thoughts, that in truth have no power. Let us no longer buy into the ego’s dream as real. Let us stop burdening ourselves with unforgiving thoughts. Let us no longer hold anyone as a prisoner within our own hearts and minds. Let us no longer trust the unforgiving thought more than the sacred and loving nature of the plan that we have co-created with God. Today, we have come to a place in our growth, healing and awakening, that when we experience an unforgiving thought because of the ego’s dreams of judgment, anger, resentment, revenge, anguish, grievance, or sorrow, we do not use them to put ourselves or others down, instead we now get that we are but dreaming, and simply buying into the ego’s lies as true. We now recognize them all as manifestations and expressions of who we are not. As we begin to awaken, we will remember that everything that happens to us, no matter how we have been programmed by the ego to see it, will be used by God for our good, for our growth, healing and awakening. Knowing this, understanding and forgiveness, not judgment and unforgiving thoughts, become our response to every step along the sacred path that we have co-created with God.
Today, when the ego once again tries to slide an unforgiving thought into your mind, do not put yourself or others down for this, do not judge yourself for being judgmental, instead simply see it as a symbol that you are buying into the ego’s lies as true. You belong forever consciously aligned with The Divine, forever one with the states of peace and joy, thus if you do not find yourself in these states, then somewhere an unforgiving thought remains to be seen for the lie that it is, and forgiven. As you replace an unforgiving thought with a forgiving thought, know that the ego will not go quietly into the night, and so this is something that you may need to repeat numerous times, over an extended period, until you are able to see and feel the wisdom of what aligning with Love, with The Divine in you, with your true and eternal nature does for you. You, as God’s child, are forever worthy of peace and joy, and we are all One, and thus so to is everyone else. Forgive those the ego insist the you must not, pray for and bless those the ego says are unworthy of your Love, set free all those that you have, through your judgments, imprisoned within your own heart and mind, do so, and forever consciously at One with your Source you will be.
