Daily Inspiration: July 3. Being Appreciative, Not Judgmental, of Our Life Experiences

When we are not at peace with our past, it is because we are holding unto some unforgiving thoughts. We have been programmed by the ego, and accepted, to judge our past and those in it, God’s creations, as deficient in one form or another. When in this mindset do not despair, for we can only punish ourselves with our own thinking for so long before we start to look for a better way. Soon, we will understand and be grateful to our past, for being our greatest teacher. Soon, we will become appreciative, not judgmental, of our greatest teacher. The ego fuels its fairy tale through the act of judgment. Soon, we will see that being children no longer, we no longer need to buy into fairy tales as real. We no longer need to play nor participate in its childish games. Soon, we will see that our past and everyone from it has, in their own unique ways, helped us become the wiser, more self-aware, loving and compassionate beings, that we are today. God is Love and All, and thus uses all for good. Every step along our journey has been of use, has helped us grow and develop into the people we are today. Imagine, if we started to think of and see every step along our journey as helpful. How would that begin to change your relationship to your past and to those from your past? How much more peace would you have within when you would think of your past and those from it? How much more open would you be to forgiving yourself and everyone else from you past? How would this shift in perception and mindset, from one of judgment, anger, confusion and pain, to one of forgiveness, peace, gratitude and understanding, help to lift you up? What type of example could you then begin to set for others? Today, remember, that you need not change your past for this shift in consciousness to occur. All you need do is change your mind about your past, about its useful nature. Once you do so, you will begin to see it as the gift that it truly was.

Those who judge their own or other people’s past as less than or not good enough, have simply been programmed to react in this manner. Let us no longer choose to react in a manner that is not supportive of us. Let us no longer support a way of thinking that only poison us through our own thoughts. Everyone has co-created their journeys with God. Yes, some may have lost their way, but remember, that God can use all for good. If we are judging their journeys, then we are judging God as incompetent and wrong. True peace of mind can not be found nor experienced as long as we are judging God as incompetent and wrong. Today, having awaken to the realization that God being Love and All can use all for good, let it be us who now carry the torch of non-judgment. Now, as our judgments fall away, our levels of fear and conflict decrease, and our levels of peace and understanding increase. Now we know, that it is only within the ego’s fairy tale were characters such as judgment, anger, resentment, anxiousness, stress, fear, and hate, seem to exist. Now, when these characters knock at our mind’s door, we smile at their silly efforts to have us trust them instead of God. We smile, but not with a sense of superiority, but from a place of experience, understanding, compassion, wisdom, clarity, peace and certainty. We who have or are in the process of awakening, no longer need to support these characters, for they being unreal, are not worth neither fearing nor following. Love is who we are and Love is All. All does not need to fear nor follow nothing. Now, let us simply see nothing as nothing. We do so by overlooking or forgiving the false and all those who were simply asleep and buying into the ego’s dream as real. In doing so, we acknowledge, that Love is All, and that the ego’s dream, is only but a dream.

Today, let us honor our journey, our whole life experience, by making the conscious decision to think of it with gratitude. Thanks to the gift of time, we can look back at what we once condemned about self or others and now see the lessons and wisdom that such experiences have brought us. Now, having recalled that our whole journey is a sacred co-creation with God, even if we yet can’t see why some things occurred in our past, we now trust God and in doing so drop the heavy weight of judgment’s burdens. We now trust that God being Perfect Love, always has our best interest in mind. We now trust that every experience, when properly perceived, will in one form or another be helpful in our awakening process. When we realize that every thing is helping us, then what use would we ever again have for judging our past or those from it? If we obtain this clarity, understanding and peace about our past, can we not also obtain this clarity, understanding and peace in our present? Imagine a present where we no longer need to hide from or be subservient to, the imaginary monsters in the ego’s dream. Imagine simply being able to see and react to the characters of judgment, anger, resentment, anxiousness, stress, fear, and hate as not real or true. How much more peace of mind and joy would we experience when we realize that the fear based characters within the dream are not real because the dream itself is not real? How much more grateful would you be to those who have helped you, through their participation in your life, see and recognize the false as false? Today, let us for a moment stop and acknowledge how far we have come. Let us offer our gratitude to every one who we have met along the way. Without them, we would not be who we are today. Today, let us be a symbol of wisdom, of a mind not only at peace with its past, but also grateful for it.

Today, when judgmental thoughts of self or others try knocking at our mind’s door, let us use our past experience to recall that such thoughts have never delivered to us the peace we want. With this knowledge and understanding at hand, let us decline their entrance into our minds and kingdoms. A mind that is awake, offers gratitude to its past and to those who were a part it. A mind not yet awake, uses judgment to define and relate to its past, and to those who were a part of it. Let us today recall that we would not be who we are today without our past. Today, let our present-self recognize this, and offer our past-self gratitude for his or her courage and determination. Then let us acknowledge that one day our future-self will feel this same gratitude towards our present self, who we are, thanks to our past, right now.

I resonate with this so much!
For years now, I decided that what happened in my past has made me stronger and has made me who I am now. For so long I carried around guilt, resentment, and unforgiving anger toward myself and everyone in it. I was judgemental. Then I noticed that was all lifted up and I felt different , just like this says.
I didn’t know or realize until just now that I was awakening when I started feeling different. But now I do, been a hard road tho.
Thank you!
Rip my beautiful daughter❣️

Thank you Jeanne for being open to the message.

Indeed everything in our lives is here to, after all is said and done, help us grow, heal and awaken, so that we can then use our life experience to help others grow, heal and awaken. In essence the past and everyone from it is here helping us do just that, and so when we realize this, gratitude and peace, not judgment and anger, becomes our response to them.

When gratitude and peace become our primary response to self and others, these energies bless us, flowing through us and throughout our day. It is when the energies of gratitude and peace flow through us that we can begin to fulfill our function here as the light of the world, as an example to those living in darkness, pain and despair that light, gratitude and peace are also available to them.

Now, with the life experience you have been gifted you now have tools on how to escape and let go of the energies of guilt, resentment, unforgiving anger. These are very useful tools we can share with others and thus help bring peace back into their minds and joy back into their hearts.

Do so, share and offer your life experience, the tools you have accumulated through time with others so that when you return Home and once again meet your daughter you will do so with your arms wide open and your head held high.

Peace. JBC
