Daily Inspiration: March 17. Gratitude As Your Constant Companion
Today, let us make the conscious choice to make gratitude our constant companion. Regardless of how the ego’s world has programmed us to see and react to it, gratitude will today become our principal response to everything, everyone and all. Imagine, the peace that would come into your life, if you but simply chose to be grateful for everyone, instead of judging them as the ego would have you do. Imagine, how grateful you would be to everyone in your life who is helping you, through the practice of forgiveness, to heal and grow into, the light filled being that you came here to be. If we look into our lives, at how much we unconsciously and consciously judge ourselves and others, we can begin to realize, how much the ego’s mindset is in control of our own thinking. When the ego is controlling our thinking, it is controlling our lives. Let us take note, that because judgment is the ego’s main fuel source, whenever we are judging ourself or another, we have simply and unconsciously, allowed the ego’s mindset to take control over our thoughts, thinking and lives. In essence, we are not living our lives, the ego is. Our actions come from our thinking, and so if the ego is thinking for us, then it is the ego that is living our lives for us. Imagine that, just being an unconscious passenger in your own life, a sort of robot, doing what the ego demands we do. This is where most of us, unconscious of it as we may be, find ourselves. This is what we will work on retrieving today, we will practice taking back control of our own lives from the ego. We will do this by noticing ourselves when we are being judgmental, and let such thinking and actions, trigger in us, the desire to begin to take our lives back from the ego. We will begin to take our power back, by forgiving and becoming grateful for everything that the ego has programmed us to judge.
Today, let us no longer feel bad or judge ourselves for being judgmental, instead we use judgment today as a trigger mechanism, to help us shift away from the ego’s mindset. It is when we shift away from the ego’s mindset, that we can begin to take our power back. A symbol that will show us that we are taking our power back from the ego, is that we will be reacting with gratitude, to everything, everyone and all. When we are grateful, this will signal to us that we are in control, when we are judgmental, this will signal to us the we have relinquish control to the ego. Today, let us recall, that everything that is occurring to us is, after all is said and done, offering us the opportunity to practice being grateful and thus helping us practice, taking control of our life. When we are consciously aligning with gratitude, we are also aligning with the knowledge that God has, in every moment, only our best interest in mind. Today, everything and everyone that comes to us, offers us the opportunity to be grateful, and thus to take our lives back from the ego. Today, every raindrop refreshes us, and every cloud comforts our sight. Every ray of sunshine provides us with Vitamin D, and every tree cools us in its shade. Today, every traffic jam gifts us the time to breathe in deeply and revitalize our bodies, and every word our sisters and brothers utter, are a reminder to us, that we are choosing to value, forgiveness, gratitude and peace more than judgment, anger and pain. Today, let us give up of our ideas of how people must behave, and of what they should say, think, or do, and instead acknowledge, that their journey is as sacred and prefect for them, as ours is to us. Today, the state of peace is the result of our gratitude, and gratitude results from us recalling the we are God’s child, and fully loved and guided, by The Divine.
Today, it is gratitude’s participation in our lives, that is helping us recall, who we truly are, and how we honestly desire to express ourselves and participate in this planet’s healing and awakening. The more we remember and reinforce who we truly are, the easier it will be for us to focus on and execute our mission in this life. But to execute our mission in life, it is we, not the ego, who must be in control of our lives. All of Love’s expressions help us more closely align with who in truth we are and our mission here. Let us today, be consciously grateful, anytime that we recall that we are here to align with Love’s expressions. The more we practice being grateful, the more awaken and alive we will feel, and the more natural this way of thinking and being will become. Equally so, let us practice being grateful for anytime we are able to practice catching ourselves when we are relinquishing our thinking, and thus our lives, to the ego. We are grateful for now being aware enough to catch ourselves, because the quicker we catch ourselves, the less time we will spend in servitude to the ego, unconsciously allowing the ego to live our lives for us. The quicker we catch ourselves not in control of our life, the sooner we can get back in control, and for this ultimate sense of control over our lives, let us be grateful for all of our life experience that has collectively brought us to this place of peace and understanding. Today it is we, who through our union with gratitude, show those still stuck in the ego’s judgment centered mindset, that there is a way out of the darkness and back into alignment with the light. In the morning let us awaken and offer gratitude for the gift of a brand new day. At work let us offer gratitude for the money our work provides us with. At home, let us be grateful for the food we have to eat, the roof over our head, and the comfortable bed we have to sleep in. Today, let us look for ways to shift away from the ego’s judgmental mindset and return to being the loving grateful beings that in truth we are and were created to be.
Today, let us be grateful for becoming self-aware enough, that when we make the conscious choice to align with gratitude instead of judgment, we know that we are aligning with God instead of the ego. Today, let us allow the state of gratitude to become a symbol to us, that we are in control of our own thinking. Let us also allow those times when we once again fall into judgment, to become a symbol and sign to us, that we have relinquish our thinking, and thus our lives, over to the ego. Let us recall, that when the ego is thinking for us, it is in essence in control of our lives. Let us use this self-awareness, to begin taking back control of our minds and thus of our lives. Today, if you find yourself, through the act of judgment, relinquishing your thoughts and life to the ego, do not put yourself or others down for this, instead simply realize what you are doing, pat yourself on the back and be grateful that you have become aware enough to see what is really happening, then through forgiveness and understanding, take back control of your own thinking, and thus of your own life.
