Daily Inspiration: March 6. Choosing to Value Innocence more than Guilt
The ego will have us solve a dozen different problems in a dozen different ways, and then when we finally think we are done solving them, a dozen more pop up. Is it any wonder why it seems so hard to find true everlasting joy, peace and understanding, playing the ego’s endless illusionary games? In truth, there is never more than one problem and one solution. The one problem is that somewhere along the line, we separated ourselves from our understanding, that we are One with God, and that having created our journeys with The Divine, our journeys are perfect for our growth, healing and awakening. The one solution is to recall that every moment of our experience, is being offered to us by The Divine, to help us grow, heal and awaken us, to who we truly are. Yes, the ego would love to paint your so-called problems in a thousand different forms, and have you try to figure out a thousands different solutions on how you may be able to solve those problems. But, because the ego itself is a lie, none of what it tells you is true. The ego wants you in a constant state of war, chaos and confusion, that way you don’t have time to question its mindset, demands and view, of the world. What fuels the ego’s mindset, is your belief that you are somehow separate from God, not worthy of Him nor His joy, peace and understanding. Because of your belief in the ego’s mindset, it has trained you to think, that it is the only one you can trust, and thus you submit to its demands. The ego’s stories are fueled by the same thing that fuels the ego, judgment of self and others, and the idea that God’s sons and daughters are guilty and thus worth being punished. But let us remember, that if the ego values judgment, guilt and punishment, then the ego’s opposite, being God who is All, will value the opposite of the ego’s mindset, which are forgiveness, innocence, and peace. Which game do you think, as God’s creation, you should be playing? It is interesting to note that the game you are playing, is always, in one form or another, consciously or not, the game you are choosing to play.
Judgment of self and others, and seeing ourselves as guilty and deserving of punishment, these are all parts of the ego’s silly but destructive little games. Call the game what you will, call it judgment, irritation, blame, anger, resentment, anxiousness, hate and revenge, they all can end, when we make the conscious choice, to start valuing our eternal innocence more than the ego’s programmed guilt. Today, ask yourself: “What do I truly have to lose, by making the conscious choice to see my brothers and sisters as God does?” God knows that we are His creation. God knows that He is Love, thus God knows that we are His loving creations. God knows that our loving eternal essence is unchangeable, and therefore our truth, cannot fall pray to the ego’s mindless delusional games. God sees only our innocence, because that is who He created us to be. Sure, because of our programming, we may temporarily buy into the ego’s delusions, but what joy, peace or understanding, has choosing to travel deep into the ego’s endless darken pit, ever brought us? Joy, peace, understanding and innocence, as eternal expressions of Love, are our natural state, are where we in truth belong and what we have come here to share with others. Joy, peace, understanding and innocence, are what we always, unconscious of it as we may be, are looking to align with, experience and represent. They are, as extensions of Love, of The Divine, our truest expressions. Today, let us make the conscious decision to align with The Divine, by valuing each other’s changeless eternal nature, our forgiving nature, peace and innocence, more than the judgment, guilt and punishment, that the ego’s delusions would demand we buy into.
Today, instead of supporting the ego’s delusions of judgment, guilt and punishment, let us make the conscious decision to return to the present moment, forgive any misperceptions we hold of ourselves or others, and align with our Source, Love’s expressions of joy, peace and innocence. Today, let us allow joy, peace and innocence to become symbols to us that we are being who we were created to be. Let us also allow, when we are find ourselves stuck in the states of judgment, guilt and punishment, to simply begin to recognize, that we are somewhere we do not belong. As we practice supporting our innocence by seeing it in all others, because we are all One, we strengthen this belief and understanding within our own hearts and minds. As we consciously choose to value innocence over guilt, let us rejoice knowing that the world is and will always be, simply a reflection of the thoughts and mindset that we choose to value. By making the conscious choice to value innocence over guilt, we also acknowledge that our children will one day become the beneficiaries or debtors of the thoughts, beliefs and value system, that we share with each other. How much brighter would a world of innocence shine? How much more joy, peace and understanding, can you begin to bring into your life and into the lives of others, if you but simply chose to see innocence instead of guilt? Would it not make sense, to at the very least, make a conscious effort to try to see the world as God, Love does? Would you not feel some sense of relief, if you but recalled, that such a holy experience, is always but a simple choice away? Simply value truth more than illusions, God’s creations more than the ego’s false programming, innocence more than guilt, this is all you need do, to experience the joy, peace and understanding, that as God’s creation, you are forever worthy of.
Today, let us simply choose to see others as God created them, and not as the ego has programmed us to define them as. We do this, by making the conscious decision, before every interaction that we have with them, to see our brothers’ and sisters’ innocence over the ego’s demand for guilt. By doing so, God’s vision becomes our own. Today, let us allow the state of innocence to become a symbol to us that we are being exactly who we were created to be. Let us also allow the state of guilt, to remind us that we are being someone who in truth, we are not. Anytime today, when we are aligning with guilt instead of innocence, let us not put ourselves down for this, instead let us simply realize what is really happening, that we are allowing the ego’s sight to obscure our own. When we find ourselves, allowing the ego to see and thus think for us, we recall God’s gift of free will, and use it to take back our sight. When we start seeing as God does, seeing each other as His innocent and loving creations, it is then that we are truly viewing, experiencing and sharing this world, as it was meant to be viewed, experienced and shared.
