Daily Inspiration: March 6. Choosing to Value Innocence more than Guilt

A mind programmed by the ego will have us solve a dozen different problems in a dozen different ways, and then when we are done solving them, a dozen more pop up. Is it any wonder why it seems so hard to find true everlasting peace of mind, joy and understanding, playing the ego’s endless delusional games? In truth, there is never more than one problem and one solution. The one problem is that we have forgotten that having co-created our journeys with The Divine, our journeys are perfect for us. The one solution is to be grateful that The Divine is using every moment to help us grow, heal and awaken us, to who in truth we are. Yes, the ego would love to paint your so-called problems in a hundred different forms. You have played that game and tried to solve them in a hundred different ways. This is where the ego wants you, in a constant state of conflict, chaos and confusion, focused on judging self and others at every turn. This way you don’t have time to question its mindset, demands, and view of the world. What fuels the ego’s mindset is your belief that you are somehow separate from God, and thus not worthy of Him nor His peace, joy and understanding. Stuck in this mindset the ego then tells you that it is the only one that you can trust. Scare, lost and confused, you then submit to its dark invitation. An invitation and mindset that is fueled by judgment of self and others, and the idea that God’s children are guilty and thus worth being punished. The ego values judgment, guilt and punishment. God being Love and All, values forgiveness, innocence and peace. Which game do you think, as God’s creation, you should be playing? The game you play, is always, in one form or another, consciously or not, the game you are choosing to play.

Judgment of self and others, and seeing ourselves as guilty and deserving of punishment – are all aspects of the ego’s destructive little games. Call the game what you will, call it judgment, irritation, blame, anger, resentment, anxiousness, hate or revenge. They all end, when we make the conscious decision to start valuing our eternal innocence more than the ego’s programmed guilt. Today, ask yourself: “What do I truly have to lose by making the conscious decision to see my brothers and sisters as God does?” God knows that we are His creation. God knows that He is Love, thus God knows that we are all His loving creations. God knows that our loving eternal essence is unchangeable, and therefore that our truth cannot in reality fall pray to the ego’s mindless delusional games. God sees only our innocence, because that is who He created. Sure, because of our programming, we may temporarily buy into the ego’s delusions. But what peace of mind, joy or understanding has choosing to travel deep into the ego’s endless dark pit ever brought us? Peace, joy, understanding and innocence, as eternal expressions of Love, are our natural state. These are the states of mind we in truth are, belong in, and have come here to share with others. Peace, joy, understanding and innocence are what we always, unconscious of it as we may be, are looking to align with, experience and represent. They are as extensions of Love, of The Divine, our truest expressions. Today, let us make the conscious decision to align with The Divine. We do so by valuing each other’s changeless loving eternal essence, our forgiving nature, peace and innocence, more than the judgment, guilt and punishment that the ego’s delusions demand.

Today, instead of supporting the ego’s past programs of judgment, guilt and punishment, let us make the conscious decision to return to the present moment where the Love of God forever resides. We do so by forgiving any misperceptions we hold of ourselves or others that says we are something other than God’s creation. By doing so, we align with our Source, Love’s expressions of peace, joy and innocence. Today, let us allow peace, joy and innocence to become symbols to us that we are being who we were created to be. Let us also note that when we are find ourselves stuck in the states of judgment, guilt and punishment, we are somewhere we do not belong. As we practice supporting our innocence by seeing it in all others, because we are all One, we strengthen this belief and understanding within our own hearts and minds. As we value innocence over guilt, let us rejoice knowing that the world we see is simply a reflection of the thoughts we think and of the mindset we value and support. It is we who hold the power over the world we see. As we value innocence over guilt, we acknowledge that our children will one day become the beneficiaries or debtors of our thoughts and mindset. How much brighter would a world of innocence shine? How much more peace, joy and understanding can you bring to your life and into the lives of others if you but simply chose to value innocence more than guilt? Would it not make sense to, at the very least, make a conscious effort to try to see the world as God, Love, does? Would you not feel a sense of relief knowing that such a world is always just a simple choice away? Simply choose to value truth more than illusions, God’s creations more than the ego’s false programming, innocence more than guilt. This is all you need do to experience the peace, joy and understanding that, as God’s creation, you are forever worthy of.

Today, let us see others not as the ego has programmed us to look at them, but as God, Love sees them. We do this by making the conscious decision before every interaction to see and focus on their innocent eternal essence and nature over the ego’s demand for guilt. By doing so, God’s vision becomes our own. Today, innocence becomes a symbol to us that we are seeing as God sees. Guilt reminds us that we are out of alignment with the vision and mind of God. Today, when we are align with guilt instead of innocence, let us not put ourselves or others down for this. Instead, let us simply realize what is really happening, that we are allowing the ego’s sight to obscure our own. Then let us use God’s gift of free will, to begin to take back our sight. When we start seeing each other as God does, it is then that we begin to view this world, as it was meant for us to be experience.
