Daily Inspiration: May 25. Where Judgment Once Stood, Let Now Gratitude Stand
Mahatma Gandhi once said, “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.” Have we as a people not yet tired of answering judgment with judgment, anger with anger, and revenge with revenge? What solutions has the ego’s fear based mindset, ever truly offered us? How many times must we follow the ego’s dead end roads of judgment, anger, resentment and revenge, before we figure out that it is getting us nowhere we desire to be? How many times must we punish ourselves with burden filled days and sleepless nights simply because we followed the ego’s instructional manual and chose to judge those that we have been programmed to believe were doing us wrong? Is it not time for us to at least consider another way? Are we, as God’s loving creations, not worthy of the peace that only forgiveness offers? Today, remember, that when you forgive yourself or others their illusions, what you are really saying to yourself and them is, that as God/Love’s creation, we are all worthy of peace. Today, let us practice not fueling our illusions. Anytime we are judging ourselves or others, what we are really saying is, that our plan for their lives is better and more rational than God’s plan. We have co-created our journeys with God, thus to judge ourselves or others for how we choose to walk our path, is to judge God as wrong. You will never find true peace of mind or joy in your life, when you are constantly unconsciously judging God as wrong. To practice aligning with the states of peace and joy, let us simply start trusting God, and the journey that He has co-created with us, a little bit more each day. We do this by consciously spending less time aligned to, and in defense of, our own judgments. When a judgmental thought pops up, simply recall that in essence you are judging God as wrong, and that peace and joy cannot be found in such a state. Then use forgiveness to help you, release yourself, from the illusion.
Imagine for a moment, that we are Love’s creation, and thus that we are only Love. Imagine, this Love only having two expressions; being love, or a call for love (a call for help). Imagine, if in any moment that you perceived your brother doing something that has caused you thoughts of judgment, anger, resentment and revenge, was now understood, as simply a moment where not only is he asking for help, but because we are all One, so too are you. Yes, you have unconsciously asked your brother to help you bring forth to your conscious awareness, those areas in your life, where you still perceive the ego’s mindset as real, that reactions and expressions of judgment, anger, resentment and revenge, are correct and appropriate responses to God’s creations. It is by bringing this illusionary mindset up to the surface, into the physical form, that will help us more clearly see what stands between us and the state of peace. Let us today, offer our brothers and sisters gratitude, for bringing us these opportunities to become more self-aware. When we start shifting our own focus from that of being judgmental, to being grateful, we will start to notice peace becoming a greater part of our experience. We will also notice that peace has always been there, just below the surface of judgment, and so that anytime we, through forgiveness, strip judgment from our lives, peace will be there ready to take judgment’s place. This is what it’s like with all of the illusionary thinking of the ego’s mindset. All of the ego’s illusions are the same, because they are all not real. Strip any of them from your life, and love, in one form or another, will be there ready to take its place. The most wonderful part of coming into alignment with love, is that it is your choice, in every moment, to experience it or not, and yet no matter if you choose to experience it or not, it is always there for you, simply awaiting for you to awaken to, and enjoy, your true nature.
Today, let us make a conscious effort, to above all else, offer gratitude, not judgment, for our brother’s participation in our experience. We thank him or her, for helping us remember, that we no longer want the ego’s thought system to have an unchallenged place in our consciousness. No longer will any of our own judgmental thoughts be allowed to go unchallenged. Now, when they pop up, and they will, because judgment is the ego’s main fuel source, we will say to our own thoughts: “Enough is enough. Enough, with treating and looking upon God’s creations with judgment. Enough, with poisoning myself through my own thoughts. Enough, with this insane way of thinking. I now forgive, and by doing so, find the treasure, God’s Peace, that has been waiting for me all this time.” Now, what use do we have to judge someone else when we understand, that all they are in truth doing, is offering us an opportunity to see the illusions as illusions, forgive and find peace? What else but gratitude, can we express to them, for being an important part of a process, that finally returned us to our true home, the state of peace? Today, our judgments turn to gratitude, by seeing how truly easy it is to let go of nothing, and receive everything in return. Imagine that, letting go of your judgments, and in their place receiving and experiencing, the Peace of God. How much more peace would you experience in your life, if you but decided to forgive, and let go of, all judgments that you truly no longer desire to carry. Do so, with the knowledge that beneath the ego’s pain inducing mindset, resides God’s eternal Love for you, simply awaiting you to awaken to who you truly are.
Today, let us practice forgiving, letting go of our own judgments, trusting in our co-creation with God, finding peace, and being grateful for this peace. God being Perfection, only creates perfectly, and thus your journey is perfect for you. We are all One, thus everyone’s journey is perfect for them. When you realize that everyone’s journey is perfect for their personal growth, healing and awakening, what need would you again have for judgment? What need would you have to ever again stress out or worry, become anxious or lie awake tossing and turning at night. Trust God, rest your head gently on the pillow, and rest assured knowing that Love Himself has your back. The judgments of this world, were never yours to carry. The cross has already been overcome. Today, all you need do, is to trust in God’s plan for the Universe instead of yours. Simply place your full trust in God, and allow the peace of mind and joy that you have been waiting for so long to encounter, to come.
