Daily Inspiration: May 25. Where Judgment Once Stood, Let Gratitude Now Stand

Mahatma Gandhi once said, “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.” Have we, as a people, not yet tired of answering judgment with judgment, anger with anger, and revenge with revenge? What solutions has the ego’s fear-based mindset ever truly offered us? How many times must we follow the ego’s dead end roads of judgment, anger, resentment and revenge before we figure out that it is getting us nowhere we desire to be? How many times must we punish ourselves with our own thinking by supporting an ego’s judgment-centered mindset that only lead us to roads that never take us to our desired destination? Is it not time for us to at least consider another way? We are Love’s creations, and forgiveness as one of Love’s many expressions, is natural to us and thus a natural path for us to take. Only the Love of God is real, thus when you forgive, you forgive the illusion, what was never in truth true. You forgive a misperception that the ego programmed you to think about brother or sister. Today, let us practice not fueling our misperceptions of self or others. The less we fuel our misperceptions, the more peace of mind and joy we will experience. Judgment of someone’s journey is a misperception, for they and Perfection co-design his or her path. Being all One, our judgment of them is in essence judging God as wrong. We will never obtain true peace of mind or joy as long as we are unconsciously judging God, and thus ourselves as wrong. Our plan for people’s lives is not better and more rational than God’s plan. To think that our plan for the Universe is better than God is to be delusional. In order to depart from this delusional mindset and return to the states of peace and joy let us practice trusting God more. Let us practice trusting in the journey that He has co-created with us, a little bit more each day. We do this by consciously spending less time aligned to, and in defense of, our own judgments. Now, when a judgmental thought pops up, simply recall that in essence you are judging God as wrong, and that peace and joy cannot be found aligned with such a delusional state of mind. Then use forgiveness to help you release yourself from your own misperception.

Being Love’s creation, and Love being All, the truth in us is only Love. Imagine this Love only having two expressions; being love, or being a call for love (a call for help). Imagine seeing thoughts of judgment, anger, resentment and revenge as simply a moment where not only is he asking for help, but because we are all One, so too are you. Yes, you have in essence unconsciously asked your brother to help you bring forth to your conscious awareness those areas within your mind where you still support the ego’s delusions as real. It is by bringing up these false concepts to the surface, into the physical form, that will help us more clearly see what stands between us and the state of peace. Today, let us be thankful not judgmental of those who are offering us the opportunities to shine a light into the dark shadows of our minds. As gratitude replaces judgment, the state of peace will become more constant companion. When this occurs we will see that peace had always been there, just below the mirage surface of judgment. Today, let us use forgiveness to strip judgment from our lives, so that we can once again see and experience a clear path to peace. If we can do this with one false concept like judgment, we can do this with all our delusional thinking, our false concepts and programs. All of the ego’s delusions are the same, because they are all not real. Strip any of them from your life, and Love, in one form or another, will be there ready to take its place. Today, keep walking past all delusional thinking, past all thoughts that lead you to judgment and pain. Continue to walk past the ego’s fog, not with fear but with the understating that it is just fog. Keep walking till you begin to see that glimmer of light, then focus only on the light, until the light in you is all you see.

Today, let us offer everyone we think of or meet our gratitude for the part they have played in our awakening process. We thank them for helping us recall that we no longer want the ego’s thought system to have an unchallenged place in our consciousness. No longer will any of our own judgmental fear-based thoughts be allowed to go unchallenged. Now, when they pop up, and they will because judgment is the ego’s main fuel source, we will say to our own thoughts: “Enough is enough. Enough with treating and looking upon God’s children with judgment. Enough, with poisoning myself through my own thoughts. Enough, with this insane way of thinking that takes me nowhere I desire to be. I now forgive, and by doing so, find the treasure, God’s Peace, that has been eluding me all this time. Now I know, that each interaction is offering me an opportunity to see that illusions are but illusions, forgive my misperceptions of them, let them go, and find peace. Now I know, that all they are in truth doing is helping me take back control of my own thoughts by aligning them with Love’s expressions, and by doing so return Home to the state of peace. Today, as my judgments turn to gratitude, I let go of nothing and receive everything in return. I let go of my judgments, and in their place receive and experience, the Peace of God. Thank you God. Amen.” Imagine the greater amount of peace we could experience if we but decided to forgive our misperceptions and instead trusted that the moment is as it should be. Imagine knowing that because God is Love and All, that all is working with our best interest in mind. That All is here to help us recall our true loving nature so that we may share this truth with all others and thus help them awaken to who in truth they are.

Today, judgment is a symbol of a mind that is asleep to its true nature. Forgiveness is the tool that takes from judgment to peace. Trusting in God is the tool that takes us from the state of peace to gratitude. When our response to the moment is gratitude, let that signal to us that our minds are awake and at One with the Mind of God. Aligned with this state of mind we know that because God is Perfect, our journeys are perfect for us. Here we acknowledge that because our journeys are perfect, there is no more need for judgment of self or others. Being all One, we now know that everyone’s journey is perfect for them. Everyone’s journey is uniquely designed for their own individual awakening process. Understanding this, what further need would there be for judgment? What need would you have to ever again stress out or worry? Why would you ever again become anxious or lie awake tossing and turning at night? Tonight, trust God, and rest your head gently on the pillow. Rest assured knowing that Love has your back. The judgments of this world, were never yours to carry. That cross has already been overcome. Today, all you need do is to trust in God’s plan for the Universe instead of yours. Do so, and watch your judgments turn into forgiveness, peace, and gratitude.
