Daily Inspiration: October 17. Reevaluating the Idea of “Having a Bad Day”
What if we truly believe that God is Love and All? Would we ever experience such a thing as a bad day? We can experience and believe in a bad day only if we have forgotten that God is Love and All. What if a misperception is all that is truly separating us from the understanding that Love is indeed All, and thus that bad days are not possible. And so bad days occur, not because they are bad, but because we are misperceiving the value of why certain things are occurring in our experience. If All is Love, then all our experiences, no matter how the ego has programmed us to define them as, are here for our good, for our growth, healing and awakening. All the separates us from this understanding is our lack of trust in the plan that we have co-created with Love. Love is Perfect and so the path, and every step along that path, that we have co-created with The Divine, must also be perfect. If it is perfect, then it must be good, and if it’s all good, then there could not be in actuality any such thing as a bad day. Yes, within the illusionary nature of this world, within the ego’s fairy tale, there could be days that seem to be in alignment with what we have been programmed by the ego to define as bad, but in truth, because Love is All, bad cannot exist within reality, because within reality only Love is real, and Love is only good. In reality “bad days” are a precious gift that you are offering to yourself and to this world. Many times the primary way to truly see and realize what is keeping you separated from a conscious alignment with your Source, is to figure out what beliefs, thoughts, words, actions, reactions, and interactions, you are supporting as real, that are not supporting you. If these so-called bad days are assisting you in obtaining clarity in regards to what is separating you from the life that you desire and deserve, can they truly be bad? What if, what the ego defines and programs us to believe as ‘bad,’ is actually simply a part of a process that is assisting us in becoming who we came here to be? Would that be bad, or would it be a gift that we are offering ourselves and this world? Should we be judging or blaming others and ourselves for creating or being part of such days? Or, should we be offering gratitude to others and ourselves for having the courage to walk through the darkness in order to better understand our light?
How many times in our lives have we had so-called bad days, and yet when looking back, through the gift of time, we are able to see how precious, important and useful, these times were to our growth, healing and awakening. Thanks to the gift of time, we can better see and understand how much wisdom, knowledge and life lessons we accumulated by going through these so-called bad days or dark times. Now, if we start to see these bad days as actually good, and helpful in us becoming more complete, loving, compassionate and peaceful beings, would the ego’s programmed ideas of bad days not start to dissolve before our light and understanding? Imagine beginning to see our so-called bad days, as a blessing to us. Imagine beginning to see all those we once blamed and curse for those bad days, with gratitude for the lessons they helped us learn, and for the knowledge that we accumulated because of those interactions. If we obtain this shift in perception, would we not begin living in a constant state of gratitude to God for each and every day? Imagine becoming grateful to everything, everyone and all, is this not absolutely possible once we begin to remember what a blessing and gift each day, and every person in our lives, truly is? How would this knowledge and understanding begin to shift the way we now see and interacted with all those who we will come across? Would our gratitude for each and every one of them not increase and our judgments of them not diminish? Would we now not have a sense of gratitude towards all those we meet, since we now know that they are here simply to help us grow, heal and awaken to who in truth we are? This is where Heaven on Earth begins, within your mind, with the understanding that because God is Love and All, all and everyone is here for you and you are here for all.
Next time the ego insist that we are having a “bad day,” and tries to make us feel “less than” because we are supporting and experiencing such a false reality, let us instead remember the true gift that every moment is, and from deep within our hearts offer love and gratitude to all who are participating in a process that is helping us redefine and reinvigorate our lives. Imagine becoming the physical example to all your brothers and sisters that there truly are no such things as bad days. Imagine the blessing you could offer to those who are feeling cursed, the hope you could bring to those who are feeling hopeless, and the light at the end of the tunnel you could serve as to those who feel lost and in despair. This is the gift you can offer others when you make the conscious decision to drop the ego’s deceptions and programs, and recall the gift that each and every day truly has to offer. We are not here by chance, we, those who have awaken or are in the process of awakening, are here to be that light, that ray of hope to those who know only of the dark. Now, we can with our heads held high and our light shinning bright, enter this world’s so called darkness, and still assist others in seeing that there is indeed a better way, a way that can forever align them with their Loving Source. This is all those brothers and sisters who find themselves within the ego’s fairy tale need, someone who knows of the fairy tale, understands their thinking, can emphasize with what they think they are going through, but can also be an example of and help them see, that there indeed is a better way, a way out of the darkness and back into the light. Simply be who in truth you are, be the Love that you were created to be, know that only the Love in you and in every day is true, and by doing this you will help serve and maybe even save, many.
Today, if you find yourself buying into the ego’s programs, and thinking that you are having a bad day, remember, it is not actually the day itself that is bad, it is your thoughts and perceptions of your experience, that are clouding your understanding of the value of what is really going on. The idea then becomes not so much to change your external environment, but to change your thoughts and perception of, your external environment. For if God is Love and All, then all, every step along the sacred path that you have co-created with God, is occurring in order to help lift you to a higher level of consciousness. And so today let us practice using the tools of gratitude and a trust in God, to help us start to redefining and reinvigorate our days. Trusting that God is using every step on our journey to help us heal and awaken, and offering our gratitude to every step that we take and every person that interacts with us, for being a part of our lesson plan, and thus of our awakening.
